Can't see or connect to 5GHz band WiFi networks. There's no options to switch between 2.4 or 5 in the settings, either false advertising or an oversight in software.
Edit: upon further research this phone does not support WiFi ac.

The phone lack support of MU-MIMO and latest 802.11ac ver2. Which is sad. But still it support 2x2 mimo. I don't know what is the maximum supported speed, i guess 866 mbit.

I would say it's very good, better than the V30, although I have no complaints with the V30. I have spectrum 400/20 running Ubiquiti networks (1 AP Pro, 1 AP-LR). Connected to the AP-LR currently, [email protected] and I am getting 293/24.7.
edit - currently about 30ft from the AP.
Tried again today, about 40ft away now, 320/24.8 @ 74% (-61dBm) AP-AC 5gHz. HTH.

The ability to connect to both my 5Ghz and 2.4 GHz wifi routers at the same time has good advantages when the 5Ghz won't carry to well thru a couple of walls. It's definitely superior ?
I can say compared to the Poco F1 which was my previous phone the connectivity is way better, noticeable especially at longer ranges

It claims that it's a dual band wifi phone, but I don't see my 5Ghz wifi network.
Have had no issues with wifi connecting to an older Linksys wi-fi access point at 2.4Ghz as well as
5Ghz in AT&T U-verse modem.
