compatibility of custom rom/s on note 4 variants with same chipset?

hey peeps, good day/night
I'll start by pleading with you guys to please not bash me for asking this...:fingers-crossed:
I'm interested in purchasing a Note 4 (910F) variant, but, i would like some advice please.
1) which is the "best" model to get in terms of modding/custom roms? I would like to get the variant that has the most custom roms available.
2) can other Note 4 custom rom/s from other snapdragon model/s work on other Note 4 snapdragon variants (compatibility of note 4 roms across other note 4 variants with same chipset)? e.g. 910F and 910S an so on...
3) Please feel free to enlighten me with any other tips/advice guys

there are only 3 versions that i know of. snapdragon, exynos and note edge and snapdragon has the most roms. at the moment only exynos has a note 5 rom port but some developers are working on port of note 5 rom for snapdragon. the note edge has the same hardware as the note 4 but i am not sure if its the snapdragon or exynos nor do i know how many roms are out for it.
I personally think majority have the snapdragon and therefore most mods and roms are available for snapdragon "910f"

In case you were wondering about MIUI 9,
Redmi Note 4 MTK will get it but it will be based on Android 6 Marshmallow. Split screen apps will not be supported.
MIUI 9 Developer version or Beta will be released on September (dates not confirmed). If you want to try it, you might want to head to MIUI forum and keep an eye out for the Beta recruitment.

Redmi 4a Rom

So I had searched for devices with the Snapdragon 425, I I had found the Redmi 4a on the list. Now, I went on the forum for the device and found lots of Oreo roms... I was wondering if because they have the same chipset, could their roms be ported to our phone (Qualcomm) to bring us Oreo??

Nope; be nice if ROM adaptation was that simple.

Nope. In the e4 telgram group a few ppl even went to the redmi group and asked if they could help. No dice.

7 the same as 7s?

I have the 7s version from India can I still use everything available for 7? I tried searching but I couldn't find any answers can someone please help me

Yes, codename is lavender so it's the same phone in everything

Yes, i think it changes only the name depending on the region, but hardware is the same

It's EXACTLY the same. The Indian regular Redmi Note 7 doesn't have the 48mp Samsung sensor, while other regions have it. Xiaomi decided to add the 48mp sensor to the Indian variant and thus it was renamed to 7s. I heard Xiaomi stopped the production of the Indian RN7 without the 48mp sensor.
