No it doesn't. The mods are addicted to the delete button. Look again. No link. I've posted 5 decent posts in that thread... only one remains.
Some guys in Poland say that they got a Security Fix Update from Google today morning. So far they havent found any change besides correct polish letters in the virtual keyboard. The bulild number has changed to CRB43.
I got this just now (in the UK).
Version now reads:
Kernel version: 2.6.27-00393-g6607056
[email protected] #1
Says it was a security fix and was about 4.5 megs
I've got it too, this morning, in Ukraine

Yes it does, it's on the first post. You gotta use ADB to get it.
Hey, I know how you feel. I posted in it last night, to bump the thread so people like the OP will see it and follow the instructions. What happened to my post? Deleted, so the thread went back down off the first page. I even said the reason why I was bumping it, but because my post had no relation to the URL topic, it was axed.
Eh, just got the update message too; I'm in Florida using the U.K.'s CRB17.
Here's the update.

*edit* This is a security update for crb17, though I don't know what exactly it did.

An update link was posted.
unfortunately, no one is paying attention. This update is for the UK version...and its just a security update... for the UK version...it's NOT the US update.

I was paying attention, and it was an update link. Might not of been the Cupcake update, but it was an update that somebody might find useful.
I also got the security update...

Don't know what it fixed or changed or anything really...

Same here. I verified the URL with my alogcat, it's the same. Rebooting now....
Took a while to boot, but it booted and I'm on FRF91 now. Nice.
Will these updates to FRF85 be integrated into aosp??

It did take a long time to boot. I hooked it up to ddms to make sure it wasn't looping.

With my old Android phone Samsung used the term "security fixes" as synonym for "fix glitches that allowed root access"… I hope Google is doing some real security fixes
nvm...................
It would be nice if we had a full update of it instead of incremental. That would be easier to make a rooted update from for those of us that are lazy.

Nexus One is a dev phone, they will never fix root access.

But they may fix the new "root access without unlocking the bootloader" exploit that popped from FRF72 onward.
You're right, didn't think about this one.
hmm... I don't use gmail all that much. I think I'll stick to CM 6 as the alpha 3 or test 1 will be here soon with FRF91 I'm sure
another Froyo OTA Update [FRF91]

Good point... It would be hilarious if Motorola upgraded the X to Lollipop before any Nexus devices got it.
Estimated time between soak test and official ota?
Guess I must have answered something wrong in the surveys
I wouldn't be surprised if we got it before the nexus devices...
Post disappeared from the Moto site.. Looks like a mistake?
I dont think so, it maybe the soak test, but the moto g notes are still there

it looks like I might be rooting my motox for this if you guys get a zip posted on here....makes me wonder what I didn't do to not get to be the few who did get it.
If we get the OTA zip you will need to be stock, so don't root just yet.

Stock? There's nothing but stock atm? Also we can just unroot right? And we could still flash it all while a custom recovery is installed right? And just flash some files through fastboot.

Hey fellas,
My note 4 finally died on me so I decided to get the s7 edge and stay with the android fellers. I did have some questions though-
I got notified yesterday of a 164mb update. I'm trying to ignore it because I think whenever root is obtained it should be for older firmwares right? I'm on G935TUVU2APC8 and I don't want to upgrade and get shafted.
My second question is where are the update files stored and is it possible to delete them or disable the update so I can get rid of this annoying screen that pops up every now and again?
And I know I shouldn't ask but does anybody have a progress report for root on this phone? For previous phones I saw a donation page for root, this one I have yet to see it...
