Does flashing stock reset hidden menu options? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, I've used this phone on the TMO network in the past by following a guide that showed me how to use the GSM network with the hidden menu options in the dialer. But, right now I'm planning on selling the VZN Note 3 with its default network settings and am wondering if flashing the stock rom resets the hidden menu options back to default (VZN). Thanks!

[Q] "Emergency calls only" after RUU downgrade, root, Cyanogen 6.1 install

Hello,
I've just rooted my Legend for the first time. To do this, I downgraded to 1.31 via RUU, then rooted using the Modaco guide.
After the RUU downgrade, I noticed that the phone said "Emergency Calls Only". Being a complete noob, I continued along with the rooting process figuring that the root flash and later mod flash might fix the problem.
After the root, I still had emergency service only. Being excited that the root worked, I went ahead and installer Rom Manager, rebooted into Clockworkmod Recovery and installed Cyanogen 6.1.
Still "emergency calls only".
I looked in Network Operators to see if my provider (Bell Canada) was visible. Sure enough, it was there. I tried to join the mobile network but the device just sits there spinning until it times out. I set the correct APN settings, but of course that didn't help - I basic GSM service doesn't work, let alone 3G.
I then found an app called Secret Settings, which gives access to a bunch of nifty hidden configuration options. I worked my way through each of the preferred network types. None of them worked.
I assume that this has something to do with the radio firmware flashed during the downgrade, although it looked like radio was also flashed during root.
So here I sit with a fancy WiFi-only device that used to be a phone. Can this be fixed? What are my options?
Please help a very technical but new-to-android-modding noob out. Thanks in advance!
Well, I seem to have fixed my own problem. Awesome!
Bell Canada HTC Legend users - if you've downgraded, rooted and are finding you have no service, or emergency only service...
Download "Secret Setting" from the market.
Tap Phone Information
Scroll down to "Set preferred network type"
Select "GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)"
Exit to the home screen
In your phone's Settings menu, select Wireless and Networks
Select Mobile Networks -> Network Operators
Make sure you're connected to Bell
Reboot
Dial *#*#4636#*#* on your Phone, it does the same thing as "Secret Settings" and doesn't require you to install anything.
It's been listed a number of times on the forums. You also don't need to reboot to change to GSM/CDMA auto PRL, although you probably want to select WCDMA only.

d802 international rom in Europe

I have read somewhere in xda that international roms speciffically d802a and b have locked LTE and every ROM I flash has it disabled and i have to manually overwrite it upon every reboot via the android hidden menu (not LG hidden menu) I have also changed the build.prop to enable the extended menu but also in every reboot phone defaults to GSM/WCDMA instead of GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto.I have an unlocked german t-mobile phone.

Network select for stock 4.4.2

Is there a mod out there that lets me control what network im connecting to like you can in CM11? Where i can select to ONLY connect to LTE?

Sprint or LG has removed the hidden menu options via dialer in the KitKat update. As of now, you'll be forced to use ZVA/ZV8 ROM or AOSP to change network setting to LTE only.
I'm on CloudyFlex, and I have a dialer menu *#*#4636#*#* under "Phone Information" I can toggle my service settings. I'm pretty sure I've gotten into that menu on other ROM's as well.

What Happened to my APN Settings?

I can't seem to find the APN settings on my Pure after going through the motions of bootloader unlocking and TWRP flashing (via command line), and SuperSU flashing(via TWRP)? Stuck with no service, and can't even find the settings to either edit the APNs or select a service provider...
Have you tried a factory reset? That's not the most convenient option, I know, but it usually works.
What service provider do you have? I'm assuming you've already looked in Settings --> More --> Cellular Networks --> Access Point Names? Is that option completely gone?
This happened to me last night. The only way I found to fix it was to flash another rom. I initially restored to a stock backup and still had the issue. I flashed a CM12.1 rom and the settings returned.
