Honor Band 4, counting steps Error - Other SmartWatches

Hello
I have an Honor band 4 bracelet with firmware version 1.0.0.86, the previous firmware also failed.
I do not calculate the steps well, simply by moving my hand and counting them as such.
Someone with the same problem.
Thank you

Hi danti76.
Same problem for my Band 4 too. I don't know how can solve this annoying issue, i hope for a new update. Otherwise i will not use anymore this band

I have exactly the same amount of steps showing in the health app the last three days....
Band 4 is counting other values.

It's common even Fitbit has that problem

I'm using the HB4 since yesterday and their counting is way off. I've done almost 4000 steps just from my morning commute, which with other watches taken much more.
I'm with firmware 1.0.10.20

Just stability improvements.

I've updated again to the latest firmware 1.0.10.24 and the steps are still a bit off, but what's more really off the charts is the distance. A distance of 3.4 km is measured as 6.7 km in the app and in the watch. the time is also not accureate at all, as all this distance was done in 19 minutes.. something that needs to be done by an highly trained runner - which is not me
Nevertheless, Huawei update with new firmware every couple of days and I hope that they will solve this issue. I've got to admit that I've found no way to let them know about this.

wonder when well see some updated roms
it can take up to 3 weeks to get an update once google starts. within 3 weeks is what google promises.
Newest nexus device = last device to get the update it needs and has needed since it's botched release. Gj googs
Guess it's time to turn back on the webpage update add on for the factory image pages. I mostly just want to try a new modem.

People say this, but I don't really have any problems. Everything works. I just want to see if I can get some better reception in a few spots, but really it's very minor.

Yeah I really don't have to many issues either I was just being snide. I do think it burns too much battery while sitting idle with screen off though. I shouldn't be losing 5 to 10 percent battery overnight. Mind you my overnights are 6 to 7 hours usually.

Everyone calm down, it's not in aosp yet
and all i want is just a stock deodex rom =/
so what is new besides the HD voice and device protection ?

Finally, someone with common sense (and you beat me to it).
ROM's won't appear until it's in AOSP and Dev's re-compile.
for those devices it goes out to, we might see the OTA available if someone captures and upload it to their favorite BB
And then this could lend credence to VZ's hitting stores with 5.1 a week from Thursday (But I still think those would be a 5.0 variant with a open and update to 5.1 myself ...)

^^^ Hmmm.... It's still just an update to stay within 5.0.2 where I am. To OJ4.
Mine is 223.99 MB
Didn't take a screenshot but mine was 1.2 GB?!
I don't know if that was because Smart Switch included the backed-up data I'd just processed?

Nope, still stuck on 5.0.2 here
I usually play Sims Free Play. I noticed that the UI has become tiny after the update. It's very difficult to play this game after this last update. The game doesn't have any option to increase UI's font. Also, increasing font size on tab s2 display settings does not have any effect on the game ui size.

Very bad update.
I've got mine 5 days ago, 240 smth MB's.
T-715 started to freeze if it is ON+connected to charger. Only way to restart or turn it of is to keep pressed PWR+Vol DOWN buttons
Also it is overheating without any reason, and it is restarting randomly at least 1-2 times/day.
It is not rooted, all software is legal/bought via Google Play.
Only way to charge device is to turn it off and than connect it to charger.
Battery life because of overheating - 80+C is reduced to less than 1 day.

Just got my second update for the S2 T715 4G version, the latest one is 140MB.
update: apparently it's still android 5.0.2.
I just got my S2 (T-917T from T-mobile with 5.1.1 AOG8) yesterday and not long after I got home an update popped up. I held off at the time in case it complicated gaining root, but after doing so today I just got the notification again. The build is AOJ3 and... it looks potentially sketchy. Attached is a shot of the update screen, the second point is worrisome (?) "After updating you will not be able to downgrade to the old software because of updates to the security policy." Weak... I've never downgraded firmware, but there are occasionally legit reasons to do so.
Is anyone running this build? Any problems?

Its normal, since samsung installed knox on their phones and tab, downgrade is not possible, through the normal way, or procedures.

Just seems a bit... hypocritical on Samsung and/or the carrier's parts. It's atypical, but sometimes a new build is just a total dud. But it's not unheard of for an "upgrade" to cause things like increased battery usage, excess heat, performance issues, app compatibility, sporadic boot loops. "New" security policy: no flashing back to the build that you were enjoying 2 weeks ago. A new build that addresses these issues will be out "soon".
I'm just really curious about the rational of insisting that you remain on a build that makes you hate your $$$ phone and also what the other mentioned "security policy" changes are baked into the new build because if they further (attempt to) restrict how I'm allowed to use the device that I own... I don't particularly care for that! Also, who knows how long one'll be stranded on a crappy build. It seems that Samsung should be spending their time ensuring that, at least, all of their flagship devices are receiving regular/timely updates rather than adding new policies that are particularly disadvantageous for power users who tend to buy those devices.

Its NOT normal. It has always been possible to downgrade regardless of KNOX with an unlocked bootloader.
So called security updates that state that you will not be able to downgrade are bad, and usually mean one thing a bootloader update. Bootloader updates like this often lead to locked bootloaders, its happened before on Samsung devices. Locked bootloader means, no root, no custom recovery and no roms.
I'd stay away from this update until more is known about it. It may be possible to update without the bootloader.

Finally got OTA .. XT1092 , Indian Model
I got my update to Marshmallow yesterday. Pretty impressed at the speed of this one as Lollipop took forever to arrive!!
The actual update process went very smoothly.
It's made the overall feel of the whole OS a lot nicer and smoother. Definitely feels more polished to me. Also love the unbelievable control of app permissions in this one! They've really ramped up on security here.
Another small but amazingly useful change: the addition of battery percentage!!!! Took them long enough but finally it's here in some form or another!
Everything seems to work quite well without having to reset the phone like I used to have to do when upgrading from other versions of Android.
Not tested battery life just yet but hoping it'll have improved thanks to Doze.
So far I'm very impressed with this one and am actually considering sticking to Android a bit longer as my plan was change my phone for an iPhone 7 when released as was getting really sick of the silly little Android bugs.

try using chromium or cm browser no lag at all on those I'm running a Brazilian 1097 twrp backup from last month on my 1095. No lag in the system but terrible with chrome. using those browsers solved my issue.
Chromium is it the same as Chrome Dev?
not only chrome many apps shows lag like instagram whatsapp facebook side scrolling phonograph(too much) .
try chrome dev or chrome beta, the animation stutter on the 3 dot menu bar on top right is not there on the beta and dev version.
also if you turn on moto voice from settings>accesibility, chrome will go berserk and start lagging more and switching it off makes it normal again.i dont know why this is happening, anyhow i already reported this on moto forums

No OTA yet. I have issues that runkeeper for some reason doesn't work with this phone. Every other phone I have ever used since 2010 has always been working, but this one doesn't.
Also I already bought Google daydream since they announced it will be available soon. Well, its about one month from that announcement and nothing since that. Daydream sitting in the desk now.
And otherwise it seems to be working just can't connect the controller.
I bought Mate 9 Pro (LON-L29 : 6/128 GB) several weeks ago and I got an official OTA updated last week. But I cannot any difference from the old ROM.

Where are you located. I am in the US and can't log into the ICare app.
I'm in California and I can log in to HiCare just fine.
***Update***
I just noticed that I can log into the HiCare app but when i try to "associate a phone" with the account there's no phone setup. But when I try to setup my phone there's no option in the drop down menu for USA. Could this possibly be the reason I'm not able to get updates and it always tells me Im up to date?
According to this: http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=LON-L29 There have been several updates since LON-L29C721B124 which I currently have. But for some reason it doesn't update whatever I try to do.
I wonder if it's possible for this to work on the M9P...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/tutorial-how-to-update-form-b360-to-t3544232
I tried without success
I downloaded app "firmware finder" from the playstore and it can find the latest update B139 for me, I can download it and MD5 check is success. However when I try to install it from the recovery I get an error.
Most amazing here is that Huawei isn't telling us anything here. Why many people with L29C432 are not able to receive latest version for their phones even if its already 2 months old.
Really annoyig, I do like the phone but horrible software support makes me want to consider some other options.

Will there be Oreo Rom for the Tab 2 in the future?

nougat is mostly unstable. i dont think its the fault of the amount of ram the s3 has 1 gb of ram and it has android 10 roms. I think its the kernel and processor thats causing trouble here

1. This is the fault of PowerVR graphics chip.
2. Nougat is still quite stable in my opinion I use it for daily drive.

I got a cheap Chinese knockoff cable that lasted 2 months before its structure failed. I waited for another 5 months and decided that i would get another one. The second one charged the device but did not transfer and it also was showing signs of a future structure failure. However i got some superglue and mess around with it and to my surprise, it started to transfer data.

Yes, because I am super poor and when nougat is not supported by most apps I will be forced to throw it away. I do not like to do so.

any sign of life? if battery problem ( expands) you can use a sharp needle to pluck a small hole on battery and push gases out , wearing a facemask, and apply tape on the hole. Do so carefully as your tab will be as dangerous as Galaxy Note7, battery can blow up anytime. Then flash Rom android 7.1.2 in twrp

my charger charges properly but does not share files to computer so I can only root by kingroot and flash twrp in root apps and flash android 7 in sd card.
