Any chance we see something like that any time soon??
That'll be great. I'd like to change SILENT to DND again - like on my 3T. Tasker doesn't help here as it can't disable DND.

Hi.
I'm looking for toggle silent mode widget which can quiet also multimedia volume etc. Not only ringer I need to quiet down whole phone. I don't want to hear music from games during lessons
thank you
AudioManager is what you're looking for. Not really a toggle widget per se, but you will see that it suits your needs. It's great IMO.
i really don't like sliding all of those bars [alarm, music, alerts bla bla..]. I wan't one button ;-).
i think you might need two widgets for that then. one for the ringer and one for the multimedia since those are two different functions of the phone for it to toggle.
I have not seen a widget that will toggle two things at one time. It might be out there though.
sounds good for me.
Just tell me where can I find multimedia silent toggle
Hi,
I like the idea of Lollipop's heads-up notifications, but I don't like the way Google executed the concept, particularly on the lockscreen. So instead of using the built-in notifications, I use Floatify. I also like Moto Display's feature of being able to wave your hand over the display and see your latest pending notification. I would just disable the native heads-up notifications on the lockscreen and rely exclusively on Floatify, but that also disables the Moto Display notifications. Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the heads-up notifications on the lockscreen but not in Moto Display?
I got a 6P a few days ago, after getting a Galaxy Tab S2 a few weeks ago. These are my first Android devices and I'm still figuring things out.
One of the things that I'm kinda frustrated about is notifications. I'm used to iOS where I can control all notification settings for all apps in one spot (banners, sounds, lock screen, notification center, etc). Unless I'm missing something, it seems like Android notifications are controlled individually in each app, and the granularity of control you have over what type of notifications it produces is at the mercy of whatever settings the developer decided to implement. Is this an accurate assessment? And yes I'm aware of the Notifications area in Settings that allowed to control peeking and sensitivity.
Specifically, I have an app (Flickr) that I want to get lock screen notifications for, but it makes a sound for each notification - which I absolutely do not want. There is only one setting in the app - Notifications enabled or disabled. Is there somewhere else I can go to configure it to retain a lock screen notification but disable sound? Or am I just stuck with whatever the app allows me to do?
You are correct. And feel on the app you may find you have no control over the type and frequency of those alerts.
Hi. I couldn't find it anywhere in threads so I'll make a new one. Is there any way to get rid of do not disturb banner from lock screen. I use DND on daily basis but this banner drives me nuts .
Unlock your phone, pull down the notification shade, and long press on the notification for DND. Toggle on the option for "Hide on lock screen." Profit.
Many thanks. Works perfect
So simple. Thanks
I have to say that alert slider is super. But I can't understand why OnePlus doesn't allow to mute alarms with the alert slider.
I have many alarms and it is really annoying when alarms start even if the slider is set to "Do not disturb" or "Silent".
Can I change this behavior without rooting the phone? Any idea how to do it with Tasker?

Only with root, but maybe you can benefit from it https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/themes/tasker-alert-slider-enhancement-t3657510
Tnx.
I will check if there is something form me.
