Hi,
What issues to expect if buy phone in China and use it in Europe ? (warranty is obvious)
Is it OK that seller opened the box to reinstall software ?
Will this phone get software updates in future ?
Need some advice, thanks.

I'm looking to buy a Note pretty soon and since it looks like there won't be an official release in the USA any time soon it looks like I'l have to import one. My major concern with this is what to do if there is a problem and want to return it. I see that some appear to have issues with the display and with any new device there's always the concern that they haven't got all the bugs worked out so being an early adopter caries with it some defect risks. So, what's the deal with importing from Germany or the UK and are there any sellers to stay away from or prefer?
Thanks,
Brian
same concern here. i am really close to buying from either from clove or handtech, both UK retailers. do they provide any kind of warranty/satisfaction guarantee? also, what about the manufacturer warrany? do these brand new phones not come with a Samsung warranty? thx

They are EU phones so come with a Samsung 2 year international warranty which doesn't include the US. Handtec and I'm sure probably Clove as well cover the phone for the full 2 years. If you need warranty service you ship it back to them in the UK and they handle the repair through Samsung for you.

Hello,
I am also looking for note and my condition is same they don't provide any manufacturer warranty.
So I am concerned about the quality, I also doubt that it could be refurbished or korean copy of the cell phone
Sellers are saying that the import it from Indonesia. Also they are saying that its genuine and will connect via samsung Kies as well so I am thinking to go for it.
What will you suggest?
Buy the way did you purchased the cell?
Thanks
I'm currently interested in buying a oneplus two and the official site says that they don't deliver to my country, so i'm thinking of buying one from a chinesse retailer like gearbest.
A friend told me that if you buy form a chinesse retailer they may not be the same quality as if you would buy it from the official site, any thoughts on this?
he also said that they come whit more bloatware and there's a higher chance of getting one with overheating problems. I'm thinking they might have different hardware revisions.
Nope. I'm from germany and bought the Oneplus2 (A20003) from Geekbuying. It took some time to ship it because it were very asked but it is actually working good and seems to be a good one.
No quality problems!
I think if you buy from chinese retailer it may be running Hydrogen OS instead of Oxygen OS
I am use the oneplus two in china
I am using the oneplus two in china.just now, it is fine, and I love it .and I think the hardware revisionsis the same with the phone outbound

Hi everyone,
im from germany and i have the Axon 7 for about a week now. I watched a few review videos about the phone and i noticed that the option "MyVoice" is missing on the EU Version. Anyone from EU has the same Problem? Also, audio from for example Youtube is slightly delayed.
I already asked ZTE Germany about this but they just said they wont give me any support because the phone is not released in germany and obviously i imported it from china via reseller ( so what? i preordered this phone very early at Amazon.de and was one of the first who got it.. )
Any ideas how to fix at least the mission MyVoice option?
Thanks!
Lukas
I read that this phone is CE certified but the customs here in Iceland say it isn't and will not release it to me. Am i wrong or are they? If they are wrong how can i prove it to them if it doesn't say so on the box ? Any help would be great cause otherwise they will destroy it.
No, it's definitely not CE-certified. No symbol at the outside of the box, no declaration of conformity in the box. No CE-icon at the sticker on the phone or on the charger/adapter. My only idea is to contact LeEco or the reseller. Maybe one of the resellers for the european market have certified their phones for the EU? I hope there is a way for you to got your phone so good luck anyway and with best regards from Sweden!

Got in touch with seller, will refund after i resend it. Too bad since this is the only Chineese phone I've seen with Icelandic language installed.
Sorry about that, it is really an outstanding phone. My LePro3 came with an international ROM version, but I can't find íslenska in the language settings. But there are apps who makes you able to install other languages on the most android phone models - root access provided!
Hi guys, so my little brother is wanting the one plus phone. I noticed from AliExpress etc , the oneplus 6T is significantly cheaper as it’s from China. He can only afford this as in the U.K. it’s 100+ more in cost.
It states it’s running global firmware oxygen. I’m asking the seller what LTE bands this runs on to ensure it works with the EE network here in England.
I just wanted to see if anyone here had experiences with buying from China? Let me know if it’s worth it

It should work properly.
Just to be safe, run the phone through MSM Tool to get rid of any Chinese SW.
If the seller has good feedback from foreign buyers you should be ok. The 1st thing I would do though is unlock the bootloader, install twrp, and flash the latest version of OOS, regardless of what rom they say it has. This should eliminate any issues with shady or corrupt or spyware software.
Option 2 find a used 6t locally, that is what I did.
As stated above I would run this through the msm tool to restore the phone to 100% stock international software. Unless you understand root and have a need for it I would leave the device that way as well.
