You cannot identify Android head units by their names, you need to use the MCUs.

I don't know if buy this: http://www.myatoto.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=15&id=51
Or this
https://www.autopumpkin.com/pumpkin...screen-octa-core-with-gps-navi-bluetooth.html

The ATOTO one is not MTCD, so youre in the wrong forum for that, the Pumpkin one is a Klyde MTCD/E unit and like all MTCB/D/D/E units it supports both resistive and CAN Bus SWC, but as its a universal one youd have to buy a separate box for CAN Bus.

It doesnt look like a RK3188 PX3 device. the formatting of version numbers are very different to other PX3 devices.
Have you tried to contact the seller/manufacturer ?

Its not an MTCD unit - "MTCD" would appear in the MCU field. This doesnt mean it isnt RK3188/PX3 processor - many different headunits use this processor, not just MTCB, MTCB and MTCD units but it isnt any of these (its also not an "Xtrons" unit - Xtrons are a seller not a manufacturer). Try the Android headunits general forum.

XTRONS New Q Series for Mercedes-Benz?? Is It Better than Others?

Hi, I am new here and I searching some info online to decide which Android car stereo fits my benz car best.
Someone said that XTRONS Q series is great for BMW owners as they keep original iDrive system etc. and they released new models of car stereos for Mercedes-benz recently. After comparing Xtrons new car stereos for mercedes-benz with other similar ones in the market, I can't tell the difference exactly. Anyone can tell me more details? Thanks a lot for your help.

No one will know without knowing MCU type, which will also reveal the manufacturer. Xtrons are resellers of low quality Chinese flawed Android headunits from various factories.
You don't mention the "others" compared, or the qualities that are important to you.
From first hand experience with xtrons via xtrons website - support is next to nonexistent.
Perhaps have a discussion with the person you mention that made a vague statement about how good they are.

Help with identification of the car head unit

HI,
If someone can help me with the information what model of head unit do I have.
Head unit is some Chinese model "alps FF-5000" based on 8227L chipset. Android version is 10, but that is fake. According to CPU-Z it is 8.1GO.
All in all, head unit works very well, little speed is lacking, but that is normal for A7 cpu and 2/16GB of memory.
In attachments are pictures of my device. I see that almost all the people here on forum are giving the screenshot/photo of "car settings --> information menu", but I don't have this menu or I don't know where it is. This is the menu/info that I would like to see

CPU-Z and similar apps don't give me any helpful information as you can see in the attachments.
CPU-Z said this model is "O11019 test keys". I think that I'm looking the right field. I saw some other CPU-Z screenshots where in this field is something like YT9128...
I need this info so I can't look for correct future firmware upgrades.
If someone has this model and already done firmware upgrades and knows what firmware is for this unit.
thanks for the HELP!
best regards
Not MTCB, requested mod moves to Android head units forum.
Try searching for MCU prefix TS907 in Android head units forum, I see related posts.

Android-Update? How?

Hello,
I have an Android-Head-Unit with Android 5.1.1 and would like to "lift" this level with a newer Android because of 2 important apps do not run any longer with 5.1.1
I am no expert in such things! Is there any way to do such an upgrade via usb-stick or downloaded file? I have WLAN and Bluetooth in the unit and can connect via router or BT.
I don't have any information from which company this unit is. (bought via Ebay)
All information I have is on the printscreens.

You are in the wrong subforum. This is an AC8227 unit. You need to be in the https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/android-head-units.4267/ Head units forum.
But even so: a 5.1 version? I guess you are in bad luck. Units this old are mostly not supported anymore.

I am sorry to say, but 4 years for there units is very old. Most units are supported for 1~2 years at the most.
I have requested the moderators to move your thread to the Head Units thread. There you will find several ac8227 related threads also, like "Collection of 8227l firmware (android vers:6-9)" and others.

You should look in the right thread to find something.
Pumpkin is just a reseller and they buy radios around China from a lot of different manufactures.
This thread would be the right one to look into: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...n2-csn2_d-csn2_8600_d-android-8-9-10.3912413/
Just to make it clear: There are only some updates on your CSN2_D available, no different ROM.
The thread itself ix no longer supported by yuzo, so you need to read the first pages and really the last 10. Take care not to choose the wrong MCU or firmware.
