Nice smooth rom.
Volte also working?
Hi! I'm using latest unofficial build (11-06), are there differences between this two releases?
Not even booting for me..
I flashed PE and magisk..
Wiped caches..
Reboot to system..
Then it shows to enter decryption password
After checking it reboots and stuck on black screen..
I never faced such issue with any rom..
I tried to install this last week but it constantly reboots all the time. It seems to stop rebooting when my sim connection is off. Can someone post the steps on how to flash this rom cause maybe im missing some steps during installation thats why its rebooting. Now im back on PE that i got on xda and not on their official website. This seems to be stable except for the hotspot that is not working. TIA

I also encountered this problem, its because of the automatic encryption of MIUI ROM.
This is how I solved it:
1. Boot to fastboot, then format userdata (fastboot format userdata)
2. Flash OrangeFox, then complete wipe
3. Install the ROM
---------- Post added at 03:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:58 AM ----------
I tried this ROM yesterday and compared it with AEX Pie.
This is much better for users who prefer Pure AOSP.
Fast, stable, and beautiful UI.
Thanks dev :good:
oh sweet
please provide step by step installation guide for new user to install this rom from stock Miui10
Is this different with PE Extend or is the same rom ?

Unlock your bootloader > Install TWRP (such as orange fox TWRP) > Clean Flash (wipe data, system, cache, dalvik) > Install the rom and dont forget to back up your data in case something goes wrong do it with your own risk.
Volte Didn't work
Any gcam ports that work in this rom?
Just now I enable cam2api and the default camera take green image.
Bugs that I found:
- Charging LED Indicator doesnt work.
- Finger Print works slow (2-3 seconds) while phone is sleeping.
- Sometimes it doesnt respond to my FP, then 2nd time it recognizes.
Except that it is a perfect rom for me.

Yeah I think that was beta and now it's stable but rom is of an earlier date
For the people compaining about random reboots, download and install the latest MIUI10 developer ROM using MiFlash, then re-install your custom recovery and the ROM. Other users have reported that this procedure solves that problem. (or you can just flash the latest firmware using a custom recovery, I don't like this way because it caused problems in other Redmi device, but is your choice).
While trying the latest available OFFICIAL build (10/24th)
0.- UI is a little bit laggy. Things get worse if you use a live wallpaper, so avoid them and use a lighter launcher if possible.
1.- Youtube and other cast-enabled apps won't detect cast receivers in the network (no cast button in the app), the screen mirroring settings can detect them but trying to connect to any receiver results in a soft-reboot (SystemUI crashes).
2.- Wifi hotspot is broken.
3.- Waking up the device (either using the power button or the fingerprint sensor) takes almost 1 second.
4.- Automatic brightness is too high, and the minimum brightness (moving the slider to the left and disabling automatic brightness) is too low.
5.- Battery life seems subpar compared to Oreo builds (even if using greenify or similar apps). Is not *that* bad (like 1 hour less of SOT), but it seems like the kernel or the battery management settings still need customization (inb4 "use greenify").
6.- Some times the gesture-based navigation don't work or crashes (swipe up to see recents stops working and quick app switch doesn't work). This started happening after installing another launcher, when it happens the device must be restarted to make it work again). So, if possible, keep the old navigation buttons enabled.
Just as a sidenotes:
* After installing the Magisk ZIP, the Magisk Manager APK must be donwloaded and installed manually.
* Device fingerprint can be altered using Magisk to pass Safety Net without issues. vince's and whyred stock MIUI fingerprints works just fine.
* Camera2 is disabled. Can be enabled manually by altering build.prop, or by Magisk modules. After enabling it, ARnova's GCAM modded APK works flawlessly. Snap camera it's still crap.
*
Greetings!

It's not the same rom. PE extended is, as the name suggests, an extended version of pixel experience (this rom)

Ohhh... Just one question.. Does wifi calling work?
random question and it may be stupid but by default is this rom in chinese like the stock version is or is it set to english?
What version of Android does this use? What is it based of aosp cm oos? Why does it replace twrp? So many questions!!! Lol
Is it 6.0.1 ?
IT's based on 6.0.1. And also this version seems to be based on the codebase of 20161122 on which OxygenOS 3.5.3 was released. So a bit old.
H2OS is the official OS from OnePlus targeting the China market. H2OS is pre-installed onto China models of OnePlus 1/2/3/X/3T(?). The company wants to merge OOS and H2OS into one. However, no timeline was posted.
Major Pro: All Google stuff are gone in the ROM. Zero Google service integration so that you don't have to de-bloat a lot (Not sure if it is a Pro at all.) Of course you can select to install whatever Google service/app using opengapps.
Major Con: Internationalization. Two parts: a. Bundled with a lot of China-based services which are useless for international users. Further, a lot times you see Chinese language under the En_US locale. b. Only 3 languages are supported on the OS level: Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional and English US. Both problems are solvable. Just taking time and effrot.
Major Difference: The OnePlus launcher bears a different UI. Cannot say it bad or good, just different.
Screenshots might explain many things here. btw. I just went back to Oxygen 3.5.4.

Based on 6.0.1 as mentioned above. And ...
OMG it comes with a BEAUTIFUL Recovery with a starry night sky background image. Not as many functionalities as TWRP but covering the base well. But man it looks so good.
Just for this version (The 1st H2OS for 3T):
1. If you choose the English UI on the first boot, you will get stuck at the WIFI setting page. Connect to WIFI later and skip the page.
2. The hardware back button is on the right hand side. I assume it can be swapped in settings.

you can you english and if you want to remove the Chinese apps you can use debloater.
Wow I love this!! Had so many problems when I tried it before, with full wipe. I just flashed the ROM, wiped cache, flashed debloater, flashed recovery, and booted up. Didn't have to flash Gapps at all. Looks just like OOS. Had to check about phone to make sure it flashed. Very fast so far.

so far one of the best roms with out any issue out there for OP3T

Guide is incorrect it seems. You have to flash the debloater/gapps after you flash and setup the ROM. That's what I did and it works somewhat. Google Play won't work though. Still troubleshooting it.

I have a problem, when the device starts, after the boot animation, it asks me for an unlock pattern, since previously I had a pin. When entering the pattern, the following message appears:
"incorrect decryption." the password you entered is correct, but the data is corrupted, to continue using the phone you must restore the factory settings, when you set the phone after the reset, you can restore the data that you saved in a backup on the Google account."
after doing this, it sends me to the recovery (twrp in my case), the factory configuration is restored, it is restarted, and the same thing happens again. any solution? Thank you

Wow PE rom with Android P but the oreo version will not got update?
Super smooth room didn't find any major bugs and mtp still works throught developer options.
This are some bugs I found
1.heating alot while playing pubg or other graphic intensive games.
2.dark theme just makes quick settings and app drawer dark but notification and settings are still white.
3.volte icon in status bar is too small and plz remove hd capable notification.
Other then that this rom has no major problems anyway I love this rom it has a decent battery backup to .
Hats off devs and keep the good work rolling.
Very smooth ROM! And I found something doesn't work well.
1: The blink light. Doesn't work when a notification is here.
2: The launcher lag.
3: Heating.
And this is a first version of pie, i believe Dev you will fix it.
Thanks for your job

2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Which type of FP you have ?
It will better if u mention your FP type.
Same here. Finger print is not working. It does simply nothing.
After Reboot my clock is on the left side instead of the right.
But: The Rom is butter smooth and works for a beta pretty nice!
GPS icon don't disappear on status bar even when It off
Also have fingerprint scanner bug.
It was working fine after flash, but fingerprints are lost every boot.
After one day it stop working at all - cant add fingerprint, it not even buzz for error, software shows no problems (just like user not put finger on reader).
I'm also missing 0.1x time for animations, 0.5x is sooo slooow, and I don't like to disable them.
Does it support signature spoofing?
Thank you
Thank you for such an amazing rom . Tried many but finally struck at it . The only thing I am missing is that I can not customize navigation button as I always use long press back button to force close app .

I don't know they are types of fingerprints. I use just normal fingerprint on back of the phone. After reboot are saved fingerprints lost and after a day or so appeared a bug and i cannot add any fingerprints. It's on stock kernel and on custom too, i tryed it.
And GPS icon don't disapered after switching it off.
For Beta relase it's smooth and stable.
I look foward to stable, good job. :good:

This device is manufactured with 2 different fingerprint sensors Goodix or FPC (Ihave no idea why). You need different drivers for them, since the hardware itself is different and while both drivers are included, one of them can be buggy.
You can easily identify yours with an app like devcheck system info.
Automatic backlight is going crazy. I slide to the left and switch the display off. After pressing the Button again the slider is in the middle again or more right.:silly:

Welcome
Latest gcam will work?
Official or unofficial
I installed this last night, did a full wipe, then installed this and the first time when flashing Magisk after it got stuck bootlooping the G logo. I wiped Davik and installed again and magisk went on fine this time. I only just noticed today that my microphone isn't working in videos and apps. The permissions are allowed in the settings, is this something anybody else experienced? Any Ideas? It definitely works as I phoned a friend and I use the 'okay google' thing
Fingerprint scanner (Goodix)
Thanks a lot for this ROM. This is my first time flashing a custom ROM on an Android. I did get stuck after installing, when it didn't wanna let me into the system after boot, because there was encryption enabled, and I didn't have the password, so I thought I bricked it . But after completely wiping with TWRP it was fine.
Btw. I know it's one of the known issues but, is there a plan to make the Goodix scanner work? Mine doesn't work, so I'm guessing I have Goodix. Thanks a lot.

Awesome that worked thanks, I guess with this theres no way to have both normal app mic usage and the Google assistant on? I'm not too bothered about the google assistant in the long run but woulda been nice
Can I flash it from miui 11 ?
It's working great here. Thx!
Two questions. 1. There is a way to use the fingertip reader to unlock the phone? 2. For some reason i lost my root after installing the rom and wasn't able to root back (bootloader still unlocked). Any tips? Thx.

1. If you have Goodix Fingerprint Scanner then it'll obviously won't work, if you have FPC, then it should work fine.
2. Did you try flashing Magisk installer zip?
one request to the developer, can the network speed indicator be added to the status bar.. ?
Some bug
Fingerprint doesn't work

Still no support for wifi via eap sim nor fonctionning android auto (wich could be a great enhancement ;p) but overalll great all day rom!
Thx for the build
Is it possible to impement radio FM into this ROM?
Apart from this lack in my opinion is great!

@vasskliss, I use NikGapps+crDroidAndroid-11.0-20201215-santoni-v7.1...with BitGapps was a problem Chrome browser not synchronizing.
I installed the 7.1 on Santoni, and I say that it is PERFECT rom, 1% discharge over the night, fast, correct!!!
Congratulation for the maker!!!
A big problem is that "Mobile network" greyed out in the settings! I just could switch on the Mobile data by pull down menu, but I had to search the "SIM" word in the menu because the mobile data didn't work I had to rest APN and I worked hard with switching on and off and after all it works and I have internet mobile data connection however the Mobile network is greyed out yet... Any idea?
One disappointment: Android Auto installed from Nikgapss and it is impossible to exceed the "Display over other apps" settings, though it is enabled or not it could not be step over this point... any suggestion?

Et violá - HERE is the solution:
I made two change in my system, I don't know which was the solution or both needed:
1.
Check all the other permissions that Android Auto might need. For me, the notification access permission was disabled for some reason, but Android Auto never took me to that setting until after I rebooted. There are instances where apps need some permissions toggled off then on again in order to work properly after an update. For instances, after updating LightFlow, the app gets me to toggle notification access off and on.
source: https://android.stackexchange.com/q...eeps-asking-to-enable-drawing-over-other-apps
Yep - it was disabled in my system!!!
UPDATE: it is not enough alone! It needs flashing SafetyPatch v3!
2.
Android Auto works when you do this steps:
flash magisk
flash SafetyPatch v3: https://magiskroot.net/md/SafetyPatch-v3.zip
Activate MagiskHide Probs Config
source: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/1930
Well, I had already Magisk and enabled MagiskHide Probs Config! I disabled it, installed SafetyPatch v3 from Magisk and rebooted and enabled MagiskHide Probs Config.
After all I connected USB cable to my car and I could enable and stepped over the "Display over other apps" settings.
installed the 7.1 version + nikgapps basic package yesterday and its working like a charm, congrats again to the developers, no issues so far and the battery is also pretty good;
its amazing how our modest device keeps getting updates to the latest android versions thanks to the amazing work of the community

I have not any problem: 1,5A max. charging current.
You maybe have weak quality cable or adapter...

I'm coming from the pixel experience rom (android 10), and in computer was slow charge, in the charger was fast. So I don't think is a hardware issue...but thanks mate
I really enjoy the ROM when the phone is on. Great to have a Android 11 on my Redmi 4x! Works very welland i haven´t found any bugs so far.
I used Syberian at first, then Lineage 16 and now this.
But i have some issue with it and i don´t know how to solve them:
I have to shutdown my phone every day. (Working in a security company) and i have to press the power button for like 15 seconds to turn it on again!?!? Is this Rom or OrangeFox Recovery "issue"?
I cant Reboot my phone, not into system, recovery or bootloader.
Today i shut down my phone with 48% battery, as i want to turn it on again it shuts down and the battery was empty.
i am on GEN_PACK-1_V048 Firmware...
thanks for the ROM
