What visual voicemail did you install exactly? If it's Sprint, I don't believe it's gonna work for Metro.
It was a visual voicemail app from MetroPCS in the App Store

I'm assuming your either running a custom rom or it's not compatible with your stock rom. Does your stock rom have vvm?
I have not changed anything I'm assuming it's the stock ROM and sorry for the asking it was something available on the ROM I don't know how to find it but if you tell me I can find it

Okay so im trying to build a custom rom for my phone. My phone is unlocked (flashed from Sprint to a local CDMA carrier) and it has all sprint bloatware stuff on it. Im trying to see if someone can help me build and compile like a generic TW rom with all of my local carrier's information so that I can actually get voicemail and not have to worry about sprint's error 67. Thanks and PM or post me if you want to help

This belongs in the Q&A section...
Root - if you're not already via CF-Autoroot. [do some searching it's right here]
Go to Playstore install Titanium Backup Root and then purchase Titanium Backup Pro license - WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Open up titanium and then go to Backup/Restore select what ever apps you don't want and then delete them. You can delete nearly all Sprint and Samsung stuff. BAM done.

Error 67 is a data error and usually means it wasn't flashed over correctly

The issue is that I already did that and made my own custom boot logo but the thing that isn't helping is that Visual Voicemail is preventing me from knowing when I have received new voicemail. I unfortunately don't know how to decompile the system to change that setting so im branching out to everyone for help

no, error 67 is because the phone is simply trying to look for Sprint's Activation servers to update the profiles. The way you get past that is to flash a custom rom that is not related to sprint. I had a Sprint Galaxy S II Epic Touch and it had that error. I got past it by flashing the Generic R760 firmware and then reflashing the radios for the D710 using ODIN.
in all, I want to compile a generic firmware!
Does anybody know or has had success flashing a t mobile rom, whether it be stock or customized rom, on a retail Verizon note 3?
I've read reports that flashing using Odin will brick...
But how about using safestrap.
The reason why I want to, is because I would like to completely switch over to tmobile from Verizon. But still keep my phone...
As well has anyone had experience with getting wifi texting/calling to work on a Vz Note 3 retail?
I wish for this thread to be a place where devs, users are able to share and maybe find a solution. Any help or advice would greatly be appreciated
I did flash a t mobile rom on my verizon note 3. I used safestrap. I was getting errors about wifi calling and it would give me a SIM card error every now and then. But over all it worked fine. Just add Verizon's data info in so your text messaging will work.
Cant get tmobile to work
Can someone please point me in the right direction........i am just trying to get my VZ note 3 to get tmo services to work, but no matter what i do, nothing works...
I have tried on the stock rom before rooting or anything following these steps listed in OP== NO DICE
I have rooted, installed safestrap 3.75 b4 and tried the steps again===NO DICE
I have installed a custom rom, specifically jasmine rom 2.0( which requires to flash the NC2 modem afterwards, which i did successfully) in hopes that that would help and====NOOOO DICEEEE
i can't access any service menu listed in this whole WEBSITE, none will work, not even an app from the play store that executes them....
I just keep getting that stupid INVALID SIM error and the bars indication stay blank and nothing happens.....WHAT THE #&@% AM I MISSING????
I HAVE NEVER RAN INTO SO MANY ISSUES BEFORE, im not a newbie in flashing stuff or anything like that, been using XDA since teh Windows Mobile days in HTC's prime, but this has be off the wall.
ANY HELP at all would be appreciated....since im the only asswhole that cant seem to have tmobile work on the VZ Note 3.......

I went in to the Mobile networks Setting and added the APN info for Verizon.
Has anyone ever tried flashing the T-Mobile modem to activate the WCDMA 1700 band? Is that's what's needed to activate this band or is there more to it? I know wih LG devices, by flashing the complete software of a different carrier changes the band settings as well
I'm assuming no one has any interest in doing this? WCDMA 1700 is needed for HD voice for T-Mobile....
Wondering if any one can suggest a custom rom that will work with a LG G2 Sprint ls980 on Boost mobile? I am rooted on the ZVI update and think Autorec will work but don't see the point unless I can flash a rom for this phone that won't screw it up and put it on Sprint's info or bootloop/brick etc.. I haven't seen much of any one mentioning roms for a LG G2 Sprint ls980 on Boost mobile.
if theres is any it will be listed.. click on my signature where it says here it has all roms there plus many helpful guides..
All ROM for Sprint works for Boost Mobile too.

Yeah, but does it mess with the network settings (since the ROM is for Sprint)? I've read somewhere that it did but can't find it now.

As far as I know, you can't provision your MSL after installed any 3rd party ROM such as CM12. Instead, you can provision your device with the stock ROM and then install the 3rd party ROM. You don't need to set up anything again.

So..since I've already had the phone switch to boost from sprint via the boost rep and have been running stock...loading a new ROM should keep my network settings etc the same?
So my phone is S7 Edge G935P. Playing around on it trying to get the trifecta of root, rom, and data. So I odined the G935P.I3 and it worked, then rooted, no data. Then I flashed a Verizon ROM just to see if it would work it did, I have data, but is there a way to activate my sprint phone with a Verizon ROM? The rom I used is stang5litre edition 5.0 s7e by blackrain. Everything works except for the Verizon stuff obviously, so I'm just curious if it is possible to change those things to sprint?
Thanks

Yes you can go back to stock or universal, but I'm still trying to figure out how to activate the device under sprint after root. If anyone can help that world be great..
Activation just sets your apn/profile.
Have you tried adding a sprint apn?

So does this mean the AT&T rom could work on the 935P?

I was going to try this also but never had the time. You should go to the rom thread and ask stang5litre and ask him. He is cool and well help as much as he can. He might have a legit answer?
If I put this rom on a sprint phone could I use it on a verizon network?

You will still need a donor Verizon phone to activate the Sim. You will only have lte coverage as cdma on Verizon still requires imei number. I would just flash the U firmware if you are thinking of going... Same service minus the bloat ware
I recently ran my main phone through a full cycle in the washing machine.. need to get this backup phone running. Please help if you can. I've activated the phone through Tello but I could only find a TextNow version of the 306SH ROM, so I cannot receive text messages or place calls because it wants me to use their dialer.. Disabling the TextNow app doesn't fix anything. When I try to use the default dialer the process crashes.
Thanks!
