Hello all,
after I updated my k6 note to nougat I noticed high battery drainage as everyday I must recharge it however on Marshmellow I recharge it every 2 days
I saw my power consumption and noticed Android system has about 20% alone by it !!!! you can see that at the screenshot
So pls anyone has a solution for that
Thanks in advance
Hi, I have recently bought this phone and I wonder which version is the best. I've immediately updated to Oreo and I really like the UI and features, but I've seen here on forums, that battery life is much better in Nougat.
Is it worth to downgrade to Nougat from Oreo? Thanks
no.
This shouldn't really be a debate
Nougat was buggy and so was oreo in the early builds but it's much better now
Stay on oreo. I have no battery issues and can reach at least 7hrs+ SoT with medium usage
Okay, thank you all.
Yesterday. I've been using my A1 like medium usage and the battery remains 15% after 13 hrs.
So. I vote for Nougat any Time!! The problem of Carrier services original RCS in Oreo Is too much for me.
Hi, I have battery issues too, I just dont know where is the problem, I have just updated to April update and no difference...
For some odd reason, the A9 Pro after the Oreo update was draining a lot of battery with the device management saying that I have about 12 Hours of battery life.
Scouring to the list of apps, the usual suspects of Android System and Android OS came on top with 16% and 13% consumption on my battery respectively. I completely did a reset after the update but after the update the battery drain issue arised.
I completely ruled out battery degradation because my mother who used this before me doesn't charge the phone up to 100%, only charged within the 80% mark with regular charging and not fast charging.
Is there any battery draining factors in Samsung's rendition of Oreo that is hidden in plain sight or its the update broken again? Since this particular update hasn't appeared in updato and Sammobile, plus this update was an Firmware OTA update.
Hi everyone does anyone have worse battery life in latest two updates i means second october update and latest november security patch update...my battery is drain much more than before...
I think so.
I think ASIG is still best version ever made for this device...
Good performance and good battery
Just hoping Android 10 will become better (not for now on Betas though)

Yeah I've noticed this too
I have noticed this battery drain too. What I did, I did a factory reset and installed the latest firmware via odin. Since then, I am getting a smoother as-normal battery life with stable idle drain and 7 hours of screen time approximately.
Me 2 experience battery drain on the latest firmware. Maybe its the latest magisk update. Idk
I had exactly the same issue...I let the battery drop to 0 where the phone switched off. I charged it with normal charging speed till full...repeated the process and the 2nd charge on quick and battery life back to normal
