I bought an Android HeadUnit 2nd hand from a FB seller, it arrived quick enough and I've installed it. The seller doesnt know who the manufacturer is, what chip is on it, or anything like that. I've contacted the Ebay seller to try and get that info from them, but they are not being helpful.
When I look at info screen here's what I get

It seems like the MCU is corrupt, it's causing all sorts of issues. before I send it back to the seller, I'd like to try get it working and I think an MCU update might sort it.

Bug torque widgets home screen
Hi, for some 3rd part widgets, like torque widgets, when i try to move or resize by long click on them, the launcher don’t select them but open the settings menu of the pages, if i try to long click several times it select them but it is so annoyng to do, can you fix this bug?

My HU specs are identical to above.
Unit started to randomly power off and on (sometimes has power to touch buttons, but screen is black).
I have been searching for 2 months to find a solution???
OR EVEN BETTER A REPLACEMENT MALAYSK ROM! Malaysk, could you please tell us what ROM we can use for this model?

This is the link I got sent by Dasaita for the MCU update for my HU. Mine had a similar MCU as yours where it doesn’t say MCUD or E but I was sent the link for the MCUE 3.65 update from their support team. You might want to ask someone to verify this will work on yours as I’m new to this format myself. Hope you get it sorted.

Does anyone have a way to turn on the feature for heated seats?
Can the android version/software/firmware be updated?
I’m not opposed to using MODs. I’m not super familiar with using root programs on tablets but am willing to learn if someone can point me in the right direction or give me directions (I follow them very well) if that’s what it takes.
I realize I’ve asked a lot of questions in this lengthy post, but if anyone would be willing to share any information that they might have I would be very, very grateful.

Thank you i wrote them an email in the hope they will reply.
i got an android car radio that i reset to factory defaults after buying the car, now the radio wont let me sign-in to google, it goes through "checking info..." but kicks me back to settings > users & accounts

Your device isn't an FYT unit so what's wrong with your unit may not be applicable to our FYT devices.
You should post in the Android Head Units sub forum or a moderator may move this thread for you. There are many threads in there about 8227l demo devices.
