what network vendor are u on ??? do u have a 3g data card ???
in your dialer dial *#*#4636#*#* , tap "Phone information" and scroll down to where it says "Set Preferred network type:" and select "GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)".
Then go into Settings, Mobile Networks, Access Point Names, and make sure you've selected the correct one for your provider.
Hello, I need some help. I have the d802 model of the LG G2 and I have a problem: in order to use 4G I have always to go on the phone app and type the code *#*#4636#*#* then a menu opens and I have to go Phone information and then Set preferred network type and finally select LTE/WCDMA/GSM. But he problem is that this setting always reset when I restart the phone or even randomly (It always go back to WCDMA preferred), so I can't use 4G anymore.
Ps: Even while LTE/WCDMA/GSM is selected I'm not able to select 4G at Settings > Tethering & networks > Mobile networks > Network mode, but it still works
Ps 2: I'm using pure stock 4.4.2 KitKat ROM
Ps 3: I did hard reset the device
Ps 4: My mobile service is Claro, from Brazil
Anyone please?

Could you be more specific? Does your WiFi turn on and show available networks or it doesn't turn on at all?

Try this. Open your dialer and type in *#0011#. Your phone will launch the service mode. Click on the menu bar at the top right hand corner and press WIFI. You should see a WiFi mainframe module information. Turn off the WiFi Power Saving mode and restart your phone. Now, try to connect and see the result.

From my experience, this occurs either because there is a bug with the WiFi kernel or because the protocol that your router is using (some routers constantly ping the device for feedback to see if it's connected). If the problem continues, I would contact Samsung via Twitter in your respective country and tell them about the issue. They will usually reply to your tweet within 48-72 hrs.
no network in wcdma mode only gsm working
Hello Everyone, I am using Samsung Galaxy y gt-s5360 i and of past 2 days I am not able to surf 3g.I am able to use GPRS.But when i change the wcdma mode there is no network...even the network shows up In the notification area it says "Emergency calls only".
I went to Settings -> mobile networks, when I try to manually select my operator(Airtel, i'm from India)in wcdma mode i get the error "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network".But in GSM mode it shows full network and i am able to use 2g...In Dual mode normaly the E changes to H...but from past 2 days there is no H...
I have removed the sim card, inserted in another mobile, it works fine. When I try try to insert a sim card of some other operator into my mobile I get the same errors listed above.
These are the things that I have tried.
1. Removed the sim card, battery inserted them back and restarted the phone
2. Unrooted my mobile by factory reset...
3. Tried in *#*#4636#*#* method...by turning radio on and off....But wcdma mode shows the same Ëmergency calls Only"
4.Checked imei number by *#06# ...compared it with the imei number in battery...both are same.....
Please Help me guys...I am new for this....
I recently updated my Samsung S7 Edge software when the update popped up. Since then my phone doesn't get the T-mobile signals. It says 'No network connection' with the crossed out circle. I'm not even able to search for networks under 'Network Operators'. It either says 'Error while searching for networks' or 'Unable to connect, try again later'. I did a factory reset also but that didn't help. Used the same sim on a different phone and it works fine. Andriod 7.0.
I recommend to take it to t-mobile service center.
also you can find t-mobile firmware in sammobile.com/firmware and flash it.
