'No network connection' on my Samsung S7 Edge - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I recently updated my Samsung S7 Edge software when the update popped up. Since then my phone doesn't get the T-mobile signals. It says 'No network connection' with the crossed out circle. I'm not even able to search for networks under 'Network Operators'. It either says 'Error while searching for networks' or 'Unable to connect, try again later'. I did a factory reset also but that didn't help. Used the same sim on a different phone and it works fine. Andriod 7.0.

I recommend to take it to t-mobile service center.
also you can find t-mobile firmware in sammobile.com/firmware and flash it.

Emergency Firmware Recovery in Kies

Hi, all.
I just received my T-Mobile S3 today. Installed the most current version of Kies, as I don't trust the cloud for syncing, and synced with Outlook. Worked great. Nice to see this feature is enabled after dealing with my unsupported Vibrant for so long.
It's interesting. On the opening page of Kies, there is a heading for "Firmware Information", then beneath that, in big orange letters, "Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies." It goes on to list "Current firmware version: PDA:LEM / PHONE:LEM / CSC:LEM (TMB).
In any case, in Kies, under "Tools", there are three interesting buttons, "Emergency Firmware Recovery", "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization", and "Firmware Upgrade Settings".
The "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization" button says my model isn't supported for that feature. The "Firmware Upgrade Settings" just lets you specify whether Kies should automatically download any firmware updates.
However, when I clicked "Emergency Firmware Recovery", it seemed to be working and attempted to connect to my phone. Seeming as how my phone is working just fine and I just finished inputting all my settings, etc., I cancelled it, so I'm not really sure what it might do.
I know at least one person had posted that they were having trouble booting after attempting a flash (I think), so maybe someone in that situation, or maybe someone more curious than me, could download Kies and see what this option does.

[Q] EE sim not working in unlocked S4 Invalid Sim

Every type of sim works in my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 apart from EE sims. I have been back and forth with EE on the phone and to my local store and no-on knows what the issue is.
The phone is unlocked and was working fine with my (UK) T Mobile sim. Apparently the only difference between T Mobile and EE sims is the 4G part. Interestingly, a contract EE sim returns the message "Invalid Sim". A pay as you go EE sim returns the message "No Sim". My local EE store think this is a software issue rather than hardware.
Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4
EE PAYG brings up "No Sim" error
EE contract sim brings up "Invalid Sim" error
All other networks' sims work fine
The IMEI is not blacklisted or blocked on EE
I have done a factory reset
AP: I9505XXUHOB7
CP: I9505XXUHOB7
CSC: I9505BTUHOB4
The problem is that I bought the phone off contract so EE cannot do anything and the warranty has expired. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before, and does anyone have any ideas as to what I could do next??

Since I can't think of any other reason as to why it wouldn't work. Try updating the Modem and BL.
What you should do is, remove the SIM.
Download the XXUHOB8 Modem and Bootloader.
Flash them.
Let the phone boot up.
Do a HARD reset.
Insert the SIM.
Then check.
Thanks to @Repulsa for providing us with the OB8 modem and BL.
Here's the link for the GSM/LTE modem file for your phone: https://mega.co.nz/#!65RQ3QJY!kINweEygAEWY6SlzzNGAaLkZXizqDbo2CIWFR23VzcY

They need to be flashed via Odin.
All you have to do is put your phone in download mode.
Power Off.
Hold Power Button + Home Button + Volume Down button
The phone will ask you to accept or not
Press the Volume Up Button to enter download mode
The screen should say "Downloading, Do not turn off target"
Connect your phone to your laptop/PC and let drivers install.
Download Odin (any version), v3.07 and 3.09 work fine for me.
Once your phone is detected, one of the rectangles in Odin should turn either yellow or blue and say the COM:ID of your phone.
Once that is done, press BL and select the bootloader file.
Then press Phone (which is modem) and select the GSM/LTE modem file.
Once they are added to Odin successfully, press Start.
It'll take barely a minute.
Once it says PASS in Odin, reboot your phone.
Do a HARD reset.
Then insert your EE SIM and see if it works.

Thanks so much for your detailed reply. I have never done anything to the software on my phone before. Do you have a link or anything for a really basic step by step guide for this? I just don't want to get anything wrong and risk bricking my phone.
UPDATE 1: I did manage to follow your instructions after reading them a couple of times. Thanks very much for your help. I installed Odin 3.09, and added the BL and CP and did a hard reset. Everything worked well but it is still showing "Invalid SIM card" message with the EE sim. Any other ideas of where I can go from here?
UPDATE 2: I have followed this guide here to re-install the stock firmware for the GT-I9505. I installed the UK BTU 5.0.1 firmware. All went perfectly and I did a hard reset afterwards. The devices is still showing the "Invalid SIM card" error. Could this be a hardware issue after all?

Firstly, I'm glad you installed the new OB8 modem.
Secondly, I'm just not getting convinced of the fact that this is a hardware problem. If it was, the other SIM (T-Mobile) wouldn't have worked on it.
Have you tried the EE SIMs in another phone? Also, were the SIMs issued recently or are they old ones?
T-Mobile and EE are the same network though aren't they, so I don't understand why the phone isn't accepting the SIM card.
A question for you, did you have your number ported to EE from T-Mobile or is it an entirely new number on EE?
I read on a few forums that when the number gets ported from a different carrier, the phone shows an Invalid SIM when you insert it until EE has fully ported the number.
However, if that's the case then the PAYG SIM card should've worked.
And the last question, was the device on contract from T-Mobile?
EDIT: After reading your first post again, you said that the EE PAYG SIM showed a 'No SIM' error, but the contract one showed an 'Invalid SIM' error. I have a feeling it's a SIM problem and not a hardware/software issue.
Ask EE to issue you a brand new SIM and first try it in another phone, if it works, then pop it in your S4.

Samsung Galaxy S5 doesn't start because MODEM ERROR

Hello,
I use Samsung Galaxy S5 a year and less. Friend of mine brought it from the US. It’s unlocked with a code. The device is TMobile. A few days ago I used it as Hotspot router, to share internet to my laptop. I restarted the phone, but not turned off the Hotspot. When the phone is switched on, displaying the following error: "Secure Fail: Modem ...“in red letters, top left and in the middle - exclamation point in a yellow triangle, and below it the inscription in white letters: "Security Error: This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost". I tried to flash with Odin with different ROMs for model G900T. It gave me PASS all times, but the error still comes and the phone does not start. I gave it to a friend who has GSM service. He said he made 6 service flash and nothing. He tried flash with stock ROM and 4 fiels+pit, but nothing. I tried different tutorials from here, but I am not quite good and not sure I do things properly. I dis flash with this CF-Auto-Root-kltetmo-kltetmo-smg900t. Again same error but I had a different boot menu. There did a few cash and full resets. After that the phone started and stopped on Samsung android advertise. I flash with stock ROM after and again same modem error. I am from Bulgaria. I called to local Samsung service. They refused me to see the phone because they are not authorized. Have to repair just in USA, but this is complicated. Any idea what to do? Please, give a few tutorials to repair this!
Thanks in advance!
Please, you could give me threads which contains thing I have to do to repair my phone. No problem if I have to do few things. Important is to try everything possible again and in wright order.
Here's what I did...I used an older phone to download my modem to since my laptop was down at the time...I then booted into TWRP recovery after I've inserted the extSD card and from there I used TWRP to get modem back..hopefully I understood ur question and this would help you..sorry if it doesn't!

Help Restoring network operation of S8 active.

Okay so i tried the SamFail Rom / Root. 5 seconds into the root i got an error, a PIT fail code. The phone which is a carrier unlocked one went into an infinite boot loop on the recovery screen, and wouldn't let me enter the recovery options. I tried many hard resets, took out the battery, and even let it drain but nothing helped, it would just boot loops into the downloading update / Error . After all this i decided to try to flash the original firmware into it. Only thing is i didn't write down the software version. But since i have t mobile i thought why not just flash it with the latest tmobile software. So i did.
Now the phone turns on and everything works but it wont connect to the network. IMS registration status is not registered, Mobile network state is Disconnected but it does say T-Mobile which is my carrier.
Under the Odin download mode, before i even flashed it at the top left under carrier IT said SPR so i figured the phone was originally a sprint phone then unlocked and sold by the company. so i also tried the SPRINT software but same thing happens.
Under Co figuring Service it just stays registering then says " Please contact your service provider....." internal error -1.
Under UICC Unlock it says Your device is unlocked for any SIM card but then when i click it, it says SIM unlocking could not be completed please try again later. Internal Error 407.
Any help or insight would be appreciated. i don't care about the root anymore i just want the phone to work normally, Thanks.
---------------------------------------------------------
:Edit - I messed with it enough now it shows LTE service and everything but the. SPRINT OMADM Message wont go away. And the Carrier Hub - Requests are processing wont go away. also i get very minimum service if any at all. . Any help? Thanks.
Click on settings app->apps->click 3 dots button at upper right corner->click show systemapps-> search Sprint OMADM app and force stop it

I have an (originally Sprint) S10+ running on T-Mo. CSC SW says TMB/TMB/SPR, the phone has been approved for unlock via T-Mo. Thinking of flashing..

I have an (originally Sprint) S10+ running on T-Mobile, CSC SW version says TMB/TMB/SPR, the phone has been approved for unlock via T-Mobile and T-Mo says to go to Settings, Connections, More connection settings and that the unlock button will be there. There is nothing there...
On this phone (unlike my other S10 and my S22U) it seems the unlock button is under Settings, Software update, and there is a button called UICC Unlock there, but when I press it, it says The network is preparing your services please wait, and then shows Sim restricted.
I'm not sure what's going on. I'm positive T-Force did the unlock properly as they even showed me a screen shot snippet via Twitter T-Force DM showing they had approved the phone (whitelisted it for SIM unlock).
I'm thinking of flashing it to the U1 XAA variant to see if then the unlock button will work properly as I'm pretty sure it's on the phone's end not on T-Mobile's end...thoughts?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
