Need the original settings.apk

Hi
i was trying this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1625395 and it didnt work but i forgot to backup my old settings.apk and now i cant access settings at all there is no icon for it
can someone plz give the stock setting.apk file and the procedure to install it thanks

plz guys help as i cant access my setting now

before you replace, you must set the permission

no no no, you move the setting.apk to system/here then you can change permission after that you move to the system/app then reboot your phone

nope didnt work

Did you fix the permissions correctly?
Use root explorer ..copy to system/app...click Mount R/f and set the permissions to rw-r-r restart the phone..

this isnt working so can someone tell me an app which is good replacer for the settings from which i can change settings

original setting.apk is an odexed app. you'll need setting.odex too.

so can u give me that as well and tell me how to copy that are the permissions same for that also?

i have been sitting more than one hour in front of my computer, trying to upload those files. always failed due my bad internet connection. sorry

try the attached file bellow
copy and paste via root explorer to system/apps folder and set permissions to

gapps works fine.. wipe after flashed the gapps.zip(arm64+6.0 ver)
then flash SUPERSU...

Need help, I couldn't flash it. It says unable to mount userdata.
What i've done is I changed the file system for Data to ext4 since is F2FS. Still not working, any idea?

but... i personally think miui needs supersu...

So which one did u flash..?? Me confused..!

It is working perfectly from the Mega link. Much more smooth than the both of the previous builds. You do need to flash supersu if you want root because the built in permissions manager root does not work. I just hope that the ota's work

Everything is working in the rom ?
Stock miui music player available ?
Want to try this soon. Coming from 7.1.1 AOSP. Gonna flash Stock 6.0 Rom first and then this miui right ?
(i always got error 7 in twrp if I want to go cm13 for example ^^ don´t know why .... )

NO idea, i just got the apk with an extractor. If you help me with the location of those files or a procedure I could provide them to you.

just download the official ROM，then open it with WinRAR，delete those files：
1）bootloader，2）ldfw，3）recovery.img
save and exit. then reboot into recovery，flash it.
remember every times before you update ，delete those files

just did it, and can cofirm it worked, altought i didn't delete the LDFW file as @PYCON suggested

Are you trying to flash new Flyme Nougat based? If you delete some files in the package it will give you error. You need to replace unlocked bootloader and recovery file if you want to keep previous unlocked bootloader and recovery before flashing.

I get a could not find meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary if i just delete the files (flyme 6), what i'm doing wrong?

It's new The dev released the new build for H2OS 3.0 which is v7. And btw this zip has some errors with baseband and boot.img. It is edited by some dev for no super su.

Well its great rom almost no bugs. Only thing i hate is supersu cause snapchat detects it and cant login, need root to uninstall chinese bloatware .But works perfect with latest magisk

Take backup of Snapchat data with titanium backup on unrooted rom(root room after installing sc), then restore anytime on rooted rom, it won't check root stuff
