yep! You have to flash kernel from .230 firmware via flashtool, root it with towel root or easy rooting tool and then flash kernel from .283 back.
thanks
Where do I find the kernels to do that? Thanks
I´m make a Video to do that.
But .....
You see only the Screen on my PC
No Sound
Full Process length no cuts but you can -> fast forward
Without Downloads it takes about .... 20min.
In my case a Full Wipe.
So maybe this help someone

The only things you loose by rooting is Samsung Pay and Android Pay and yes rooting will trip knox and knox will no longer work.
After you root the fingerprint feature will work fine, & s health will work fine too just be sure to remove your fingerprint prior to rooting.
Also be sure to enable the usb debugging and make sure that the OEM unlock is ENABLED in settings
before you root and before flashing anything that requires odin like a new firmware or twrp recovery.
Good luck,
Have a great day!
Thanks For Your Interest
Which Way Of Rooting Would You Prefer ?

The way I rooted was I used the odin flash-able twrp, noverity-opt-encrypt and supersu method (not the cf-autoroot method).
You only need 4 files to successfully root your phone.
Odin3 is a windows application, odin flash-able twrp, noverity-opt-encrypt and supersu which is flashed using twrp.
Those 4 files are all you need to successfully root your phone.
Yes, I would advise anyone to root their phones that want their phone to have a lot
more new features and customizations and the ability to flash different custom roms.
If you are 100% satisfied with your phone as it is now and don't want or need
new features, options and customizations I would advise not to root the phone.
It's up to you.
Good luck,
Have a great day!
I Really Appreciate Your Help Bro
Thank You And Have A Nice Day
Hi, I have rooted my Samsung GALAXY S7Edge SM-G935F using odin "auto-root-chainfire" file and it worked fine and great.
The new Pokemon Go update means I will need to root my phone using "MAGISK" - does this work on SM-G935F? Has anybody tried it?
Also has anybody tried unrooting their phone and rooting MAGISK on SM-G935F? If so please tell me so I can try it, I have once tried to unroot my old Samsung phones using SuperSU and it just caused everything to be deleted :/ so I am asking here to see if anybody tried it yet
also can someone send me a link for MAGISK rooting specifically for s7 edge? - or make a step by step guide how I can unroot my chainfire-auto-root (by odin) and then how i can root using MAGISk for S7 Edge SM-G935F
thank you for your time

Samsung devices seem to be not supported at the moment unfortunately. Sucks that I own only galaxys haha :silly:
I'm still running marshmallow 6.0.1(MTC20L) in my Nexus 6p.. I'm so afraid tat I'll too get the bootloop problem to my phone with nougat 7.x .. so I haven't updated and being in 6.0.1 for great battery life.. and stability.. i want to use xposed modules.. so I searched for 6.0.1 Nexus rooting .. but all rooting methods shows for MTC20F(6.0.1) firmware.. not for MTC20L .. IS IT fine to follow same rooting method or anyone else guide me through the rooting process? Please thank yoh
Just flash super su and your good to go, assuming your bootloader unlocked and have custom recovery.
