Hi guys. Today I flashed Resurrection Remix non treble final build + Moun Kernel 6.0. While everything else is near perfect, I noticed a considerable lag when I turn on the screen pressing the power button. It's something like 600-700ms of black screen, but I didn't have this on stock 8.1 and it really bugs me since I'm unlocked most of the times :|
Is it something kernel-related? Can I do something about it?

Over the last few days I've had problems with extreme lag on my I9505, and several cases where the screen is completely unresponsive. Pressing the hard buttons (power/home) generally gets a response, but tapping on the screen doesn't. Only a cold reboot fixes it. What's the best way of diagnosing this?
I'm running Phoenix ROM v7.3 (which is based on stock Android 4.3).

Try to do a fullwipe once again and reflash your rom mate ....
Hello everyone.
I've installed CM12.1 on my I910F two weeks ago, and I was enjoying the vanilla interface of the CM12.1. Everything works perfect for one week. After that period the touch started to be faulty. Sometimes it feels the fingers, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know what to think. Is It a hardware problem or a software problem? Why sometimes after I push the power button and the screen goes offline everything works when the screen is wake again. Also, the fingerprint and the S-Pen are working all the time. Any advice will be appreciated. I lose the warranty because of the knox void.

Did you try to update to the latest nightly to see if it solve your problems?
Currently I'm using Ressurection Remix (cm12.1 based rom) and I find it very stable and smooth.. you should give it a try.

I have my OP2 for some weeks now and I am very pleased with it.
But since the beginning I have a problem: My homebutton is only working on the second touch after I unlock my phone every time. It seems I have to "activate" it before it responds. After that it's working perfectly.
Currently I am running Exodus and AK kernel, but I also experienced this while on CM, Slim and Oxygen. (On OxygenOS I am not very sure because it could possibly be because of fingerprint stuff...)
Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour?
I am not sure if I should return the device.

So as you might have noticed the number of Android 9 (Pie) ROMs is gradually increasing while they are based on beta android version causing the created ROMs to have plenty of bugs. The most noticeable one that all Pie custom ROMs suffer is presumably the very slow screen wake issue. While it cannot be completely eliminated due to Google that firmly says it is an intentional feature it can be noticeably decreased.
This mod enables always on display feature in Pie ROMs this way halving the wake time your device needs after pressing the power button or DT2W. It was originally created for the Google Pixel XL users who had the same problem.
It's been tested on Official Pixel Experience Pie ROM r10 and works flawlessly. It's your choice to try it on your custom Pie based rom and see what happens. Either way I take no responsibility for it. If it wouldn't work as intended or causes issues you can remove or disable the module through Magisk Manager. It was worth a try for me

My device was not particularly slow. It was working just fine ,then I started noticing that whenever I pressed the Recent Button to switch the apps, the smaller windows that form on pressing the button would have squared corners which become round after a second. It glitches. It didn't happen before. I have tried resetting my device. Also tried the safe mode. Still I cannot remove this problem.

yes mine was very slow ... I put the root, kept the android 9 pie stock and changed the kernel to A2N kernel, Its very fast now.
