When I am recording 4K video on my Mi A1, video is stuttering - it freezes for 2-3 seconds and then it turns back to normal state. It occurs randomly. Im using latest stock.
Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

My nexus 4 has started to develop some issues. The most annoying one is the frequent failure of the camera to record video. I press red record button which registers the touch but no recording starts. It will work for a while after a reboot but always happens again.
When i try to use an alternative camera app to record video i get a message saying "oops video recording is not currently working on your device" so its not just the camera app playing up.
Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it. Running stock and unrooted.
Edit: so playing about with this a bit more and ive discovered it only happens after i try to watch a video from the gallery. So i boot up my phone, record a video and its works ok. I can record videos fine. However if i go into the gallery and try to watch one of the videos playback fails. If i then go back to the camera and try and record a new video i get the issue as described above. BUT if i do the same thing but view the video outside of gallery (i used mx player) the video plays fine and the camera recording continues to work.
So it seems its an issue with gallery playback of the video. I have forced stopped the gallery, cleared data and cache but that didn't help.
Hi. I have very weird problem with hd video playback. After 5 minutes of playback, video is stopping and phone hanging out for a minute. After that i cant resume playback. In youtube i have to reboot the phone to play a hd video, but sd video working good entire time. Same thing happens on twitchtv app when i got "high" video playback. In mxplayer i got same thing. Now im on CM11, before it i have used beanstalk and slimrom. This problem only happens on aokp roms. On tw roms everything was fine. Some1 know how to solve my problem?
Wysłano z Galaxy Note 3
I installed 5.0 using this guide here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/guide-t2983873
It works fine thus far apart from one really annoying problem. I watch Twitch.tv on my phone and videos a lot. Whenever I have Twitch on, it doesn't allow me to watch in source quality, only high without lagging yet when I had 4.4.2 it allowed me all the time. And with watching videos... after sometimes 1 or 2 minutes, it freezes on a frame on the video yet the audio will continue. I can tell when it's about to happen as the lip sync starts to become messed up then within 5-10 seconds, it'll freeze.
Any help appreciated.
I'm having the same problem but on youtube and my camera video recording don't work how fix that plz help i m on lolipop
So, the YouTube app finally supports 60fps video, and it defaults to it whenever I'm on Wi-Fi, however, whenever it tries to display any video at 60fps, it just freezes on the first frame it buffers and all I get is the audio playing over that frozen frame. I have to switch it to 480p/30 to start properly watching the video again.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is this can be fixed, how do I go about doing that?
I'm on stock 4.2.2 rooted.
Thanks!
When I am recording 4K videos, stuttering starts in first few seconds and then video becomes normal though it becomes stuttery again during the recording randomly.
Need to know if all of you are facing the same issue as me?
On a side note I don't face this issue using Gcam mod.
OS: MIUI 10.3.11 Global/Stable without any modifications etc.
Stuttering in first few seconds is normal, its probably soft issue, but i'm not sure about random stuttering after.

Ideally this shouldn't be laggy at all. GCam can record smooth video then why not official cam.
Xiaomi should fix it
