I installed 5.0 using this guide here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/guide-t2983873
It works fine thus far apart from one really annoying problem. I watch Twitch.tv on my phone and videos a lot. Whenever I have Twitch on, it doesn't allow me to watch in source quality, only high without lagging yet when I had 4.4.2 it allowed me all the time. And with watching videos... after sometimes 1 or 2 minutes, it freezes on a frame on the video yet the audio will continue. I can tell when it's about to happen as the lip sync starts to become messed up then within 5-10 seconds, it'll freeze.
Any help appreciated.
I'm having the same problem but on youtube and my camera video recording don't work how fix that plz help i m on lolipop

Has anybody had a problem with their videos recorded on their camcorders not playing back? It records the video but when I stop it, it stops responding and then I press the home button to exit it and try to play the video and it doesn't open.
I tried sending the video to my brothers n900 through bluetooth and it works but it stutters towards the end.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? The camcorder was working fine when I got the phone.
I tried to do a hard reset which seemed to fix it until I installed the hotfix from HTCs website. It is again not working. When I'm recording I notice that the picture stutters randomly and when I stop the camcorder settings stop responding and videos cannot be played back.
Can someone please let me know if there is a fix for this?
I just found out the cause to my problem. I'm on T-Mobile and as you may know that they don't have the youtube app pre-installed on the device. I manually installed the app myself and it turns out that this was causing my camcorder to not work properly.
This was probably the reason why T-Mobile took the youtube app off the phone. Has anybody else had this problem? It annoying now that I cannot use youtube.
Hello
I have the exact same problem, it seems that the youtube client is the culprit indeed.
Here is a somewhat of a solution, when you want to playback your videos use coreplayer.
That is really useless.... rather than fix the problem T-Mobile just strip out YouTube... one of the key apps...
I also have had problems with video but had not realised that the Youtube client was the cause. Recording seems fine but as has been mention playback is necessary using for example Coreplayer... not ideal but at least it is an option.
Whenever I open a streaming video website, like YouTube or discovery channel (one of my apps) it wont load the video.but the audio and the buffering bar still working fine.anybody know how to fix?
Need help please....and thank you.
no help...anyone...
My wife had problems with the audio and video being out of sync. I noticed that the phone was running low on memory...so a quick reboot fixed it. So, check to see that you don't have a gazillion apps running in the background first...then reboot.
Weird little problem with my Galaxy S4, tried 3 different roms including stock 4.4.2.
Was wondering if someone knew of possible solutions.
videos freeze, audio keeps playing, then after a few seconds, the video resumes in fast forward, until it catches up with the audio.
It's nice that it forwards and catches up, but how can I prevent this?
At first I thought it was MX player, but I noticed it happened while using netflix as well.
Doesn't always happen, which is the annoying. I managed to watch 3 episodes of Dexter without a problem, then the 4th, problem.
On a different day, the first video I tried, it plays fine, then about 20 minutes into the video, freezes.
Aside from an Odin restore and wiping everything, does anyone have any suggestions on fixing video related problems on android?
Edit: Crap , it freezes when playing games too..GPU problems?
I've tried to resolve this issue before by doing some research, but left with no avail.
YouTube will play a video just fine 2 minutes in, but almost every time I watch a video, the video will freeze, and the audio will keep playing. The actual video freezes though, not the display, meaning I can use the controls and switch to a different video.
Another issue I have is, when the video comes to an end, it will cut off the very last second, so I can't hear the very last second of the video, which I've been finding very annoying. I'm on a ROM, and I've tried this with stock with no results.
Model Name: Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
Firmware Version: 8.1.0
Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: Very Frequently
I'm facing this issue since months and it is bugging me up. My phone freezes before making a call or when receiving one and reboots every single time. Also my phone can't play or process a single video, it just shows the template and the pause button. No audio as well. Tried with earphones, both wired and wireless. Except all this the phone works exceptionally well. It doesn't hang anywhere else. Works smoothly. Fingerprint and camera works. No video recording.
Only on google chrome's Youtube site, i can play videos, but without audio. Else where like FB, Whatsapp, Youtube app and Insta, only photos load up. Not even a single video.
I didn't drop it nor put it in water. I mean no physical Damages. Games like PUBG work flawlessly, just no audio.
I have tried upgrading, downgrading, full phone system wipe and reflash. It comes back to the same position. Gave it to the service centre, it came back today with no solution. Please guide me.
I have the bug report taken by the device, but can't attach as I have lost my original account and this is a new one. I can dm the link later if required.
Kindly help me. If it were a serious hardware issue, other things would'nt have worked perfectly i guess.
Edit:
It seems that if I pull up any video through MX Player it starts playing, without audio though. The audio button shows audio track as disabled and doesn't allow me to change it to Track 1.
I believe, if am not wrong, my device is unable to process audio anywhere. Do you think any part of the motherboard is at fault and could it be tweaked for that??

If I access YouTube through Google Chrome in desktop mode, videos start playing.
So basically any app that processes audio along with video isn't working. For eg: Whatsapp vidoes work if I play them via MX Player but no in the app.
Hence I can't place or receive calls too.
I guess MX player decodes audio seperately, so it plays videos well
