how could I go back to original ROM from 8.1? - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

I want to go back to Le Eco original ROM(Android6 6?), but I am using 8.1 ROM now...What should I do?
Should I flash old bootloader? Where can I find the files? Thanks.
PS. I am using x720

Backup everything on your phone to computer. You will need to format data in TWRP (you will lose everything on internal storage).
For flashing:
- In Twrp just normal flashing, Wipe everything with additional step > Format data
- Flash the rom, Gapp if needed and reboot
- If you have Twrp back up of stock 6.0 Eui rom you can restore it (so no flashing if you restore backup)
- Stock rom you can download just search it
This is the Eui new version (the one said Eui), 3 rd link at bottom I have not try: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77435630&postcount=503

Thank you Sir, I will try I today.

No intended disrespect to Moon75, but i tried that that Rom and its absolute garbage. Plus, its not official.
if you want pure stock and have a X720 flash 5.8.26s if you have a X727 flash 5.8.20s or you can save time and flash my recovery and then your firmware.

ZE500KL (Z00ED) Soft-bricked... (bootlooping on Asus logo, doesnt even show ROM logo)

Hello...
So, me, a dumbass, decided to try to encrypt the phone while it was rooted... Everything went wrong, and on the first reboot it started rebooting non-stop(on the Asus logo)... I left it for some time but nothing changed.
I tried restoring a backup(system, data and boot), stays the same, tried restoring stock boot and reflashing the rom(ResurrectionRemix) but nothing changed. How do I solve this?
(Note that I have a backup of all stock ROM partitons, except the recovery)

Flash stock ROM
You can find stock rom (firmware) on ASUS website support page
Make sure you have your stock recovery installed too, and restore your rom

I solved by flashing stock ROM with Asus Flash Tool:
ASUS Drivers: https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-2-Laser-ZE500KL/HelpDesk_Download/ - Select Android OS, then go to "USB" and download the drivers
Website (tutorial on how to use it is linked there): http://www.asus-zenfone.com/2017/03/download-asus-flashtool-10045-for-zenfone-3.html
RAW firmware files: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ze...0a-z00d-z00x-raw-fw-collection-t3448966/page3
In case you don't want to check both RAW files, I posted here the versions of each firmware:
First link: WW_ZE500KL_V12.8.5.222_M3.6.42_Phone-user (Lollipop)
Second link: WW_ZE500KL_13.10.10.44_M3.6.51_Phone-user (Marshmallow)
If you get confused when you need to select the RAW file, go to the extracted folder and there will be it. (I got confused because the folder by itself was named .raw lol)... Also, don't delete any file, as you probably will need them one time later

By using that method you get everything back to stock. Simple answer: You get back stock ROM and recovery.

Stock Recovery Image

Hi Experts,
I've flashed TWRP and the stock rom posted into XDA with GAPPS included , everything is fine and working.
Now I want to disable TWRP and deploy the stock recovery image bacause I need to sell the phone and after an factory reset TWRP comes up, to me it's acceptable but for an simple user this can be annoying.
I was not able to find the factory recovery.img for Nubia Z17 to flash it. Do someone knows if it's possible ?
This can cause problems ? I don't want to lock the phone again I just want to deploy the stock recovery and let the phone with the actual ROM.
Any help will be appreciated.

I think you need to flash the "recovery.img" from the stock ROM to the phone.
And befor that flash the stock ROM
And I have to admit that I have not tried this but have also thought of doing it.
Let us know what happens.
Thomas
Understood. So I need to flash the Chinese stock ROM without GAPPS and other stuffs.
I think maybe just flashing the Chinese stock ROM it will replace TWRP.
BUT in order to install GAPPS I MUST have TWRP right?
What I want is to flash everything to have the phone functional to sell to an simple end user, this means with PlayStore, GAPPs and without TWRP.
well flashing the chinese ROM will NOT replace TWRP. I believe I tried this once.
I would do the following:
0. keep TWRP
1. Flash the chinese stock ROM
2. Flash GAPPS depening on your customer
3. as a last thing flash the stock recovery image

understood, but how do I get the stock recovery image?
Take the Chinese Rom and open it with WINRAR or winzig.
At the top Level you'll find a recovery.img about 18mb in size.
I believe this is it.
Flash it with fastboot utility.
Cheers Thomas
winzig should be WINZIP

How to go back to stock rom?

How do I go back to stock rom? I'm currently using Rei's LineageOS 14.1 of CodeOfHonor, with Meticulus' TWRP installed.
My original version is VNS-L31C636 Dual Sim. I have tried searching in the forum to no avail. All the instructions I've found are either too unclear or lacks more details. I don't want the risk of bricking my phone right now. I'm familiar with the dload method but I'm not sure enough of what files to flash etc.
I need your help, good sirs. Thank you.

Flash oeminfo L31C636 (install it from TWRP)
https://mega.nz/#!ZgFniLrC!S7eMwyApeaMLacEg2p_SIKxq5LuJQt6M5yQNm3kOMHE
Reboot to recovery and flash FullOTA-MF firmware Android 6 for your phone via dload. GL!
P.S.: in TWRP go to wipe - advanced , and check data format , it must be ext4, if you have f2fs, change it to ext4.

Is there any other way for going back to stock? I have a limited data plan and it would cost me so much data for downloading Marshmallow firmware and then OTA updating to Nougat.

well, miflash is not the only one, you could also try EDL Tool from right here (ROMs, kernels, development thread).
But yeah, you can. I wonder why you are still in AEX 4.6, but I guess you still haven't got a vendor partition. If that's the case just download a flashable zip of the stock ROM that you want (would've been real handy if you told us what model you have) and flash it away

I'm just saying that you are on an ancient ROM. What's that AEX version, Nougat?
Right now I'm on AEX 6.0 Pie. But yeah, i was just curious.
You will probably need to format your internal storage, but maybe you won't need it. Just do this: After installing the ROM (whatever you decide, EDL Tool or TWRP) install Magisk too, BEFORE BOOTING FOR THE FIRST TIME (If EDL Tool, simply flash the ROM, then tell it not to reboot, flash TWRP, enter TWRP, and flash Magisk; if directly from TWRP just flash magisk right away). This will prevent your internal storage from getting encrypted.
Remember to WIPE DATA AND CACHE BEFORE FLASHING
Anyhow if your phone asks you for a password that doesn't really exist when you try to boot, you'll have to format the internal storage

Reverting to Stock

Hey,
How do I revert to stock and which ROM do I use for UK device? I can't find the correct one!
Also, do I just wipe and flash using TWRP?
Hi.
If you want to go completely stock, you can install the international (https://mifirm.net/model/davinci.ttt) or european (https://mifirm.net/model/davinci_eea.ttt) ROM with Mi Flash (fastboot ROM)
If you want MIUI and TWRP, you can use the Recovery ROM.

Thanks. The recovery link does not work. Where can I get hold of this please?
OK. So I wiped everything and trying to install miui_DAVINCIEEAGlobal_V10.3.12.0.PFJEUXM_946a02f6df_9.0 with TWRP... I was trying to install through fastboot and I got the anti-rollback error.
The issue that I have now is that it keeps booting into recovery!? Help!

You can try flashing the stock fasboot ROM using Miflash. Just make sure to open the script and delete every line that refers to anti rollback protection, basically every line until the lines that starts with fastboot.
Use these links. You need .tgz file decompress it twice, till you have ordinary folders and files (cca 6,5GB). Then use MiFlash 2017 version (in the bottom right corner is option, if you also want to lock your bootloader). Put your phone to fastboot and flash it. It takes about 15 minutes and then you have clean phone.
