[Q] Best ROM for everyday use

Like the title already says i am looking for the best ROM for the Galaxy S4 to use everyday so it has to be stable and bugfree.
The reason why i dont want the stock touch wiz rom anymore is that it lets only 9gb free on my 16 gb model.
Please recommend me ROMs that are reliable and if possible also with the ability to move Apps to the SD Card.
Thanks and greetings
Any rom is stable and no rom is bugfree.
Couldnt you have posted in one of the 3268 existing best ROM threads

the best rom is Stock 5.0.1. who cares about available memory, get a 64gb sd card.

Best as in what the hell is subjectivity.
I would recommend
Lollipop german version.
Echoerom.
But for you. Try the cm12 alucard and antaresone's rom. I find it refreshing . Bonus: it's like 400mb in total. Including gapps.:good:
I find the GPE roms to be very good.
I tried the CM12 Optimzed builds and faced several problems.
With the GPE roms I've never had any trouble. Also have great battery life.

Suggestion for a stable ROM on Lenovo A6000 (1GB-variant)

I am a noob user, I just know how to use a phone, and seldom understand many technical terms, and just able to perform flashing new ROMs on my phone, I prefer a stable ROM for long term use, I have been using CM11 after trying a bunch of ROMS, and I factory reset it a couple of times, because of some lags and abrupt shutdowns, I now want to have a change in UI, but want a good battery backup. I use, JIO 4G sim in one slot and telenor 2g sim in another. I dont play games , occasionally i watch videos, but much of the time, I prefer using my phone for exam prep and browsing.
Does my phone support Nougat? is there any custom ROM that is stable, in NOUGAT?, If yes, please suggest the same for me.
Thanks in advance for the seniors
try AICP by dev_harsh
stockrom 4.4.4 s040 is the best
If your N Fan and u just have to try it out then check out Resurrection Remix 5.8.3 (with over the air updates supported) -by Dev Harsh
however i used it and grew out of N because it became laggy after a while i guess its all the accumulated data that causeses that ultimately what i find best is CM13 - By ED300 + Prometheus/ Phatom Reborn Kernel (Overclocked to 1.6Mhz CPU/720Mhz GPU + Xposed Module for ultimate tweaking)
Use mokee7.1.2 by dev_har****. Very stable rom and smooth like butter. No lags no problem crashes. Use it if you want nougat. Around 400 MB ram always free in 1gb variant also.
Cosmic OS

What's is your current daily driver? Or what's the best rom for s5 in your opinion

So our galaxy s5 is 4 years old now and it is still the main device of many users as we know there are great roms for this phone now snapdragon and as well as exynos so i want to know what is your current rom and why(post screenshot if you like to)
My daily driver is : dotOS 2.3.1
Why: cause it is fast stable and it's has latest version of Android(oreo) and some of Android P style and theme and the best part of it it doesn't lag no matter what you install
And also used nemsis reborn v5 and it is the best of s8(note7) port
Thanks
Hope you all replay

I use an LG G6 as my main device, but I use my S5 a lot... and I have to say Resurrection Remix (based on LineageOS/android 8.1.0) is amazing.... (I don''t use data, so I haven't tested that part) The UI is responsive, it runs great, super customizable, love it! (also kinda funny that the S9 doesn't officially have 8.1 yet, but someone made a ROM for 8.1 on the S5 :/)

Thanks for the reply
Yeah rr oreo is great also but they are really slow to bring updates to oreo ( i don't why) but in naught there was a lot of updates
Thanks again
stock rom, very stable, compatible and battery frienldy
My S5 is running still great !
Using it to type this. Running lineage 14.1 updated all the way to 15. Heard it was buggy so i didn't update to Lineage 15
Daily driver till September. Hah it for 3 years
Using almost a month: noise rom v4, sparkplug kernel, magisk manager and s health working great. Having little issues with bluetooth speakers/earpods (need to switch on/off 2 times to listen something), and battery duration it almost a day, with gps and sync turned on. If there any rom to use daily, that is noise rom :good:
How is the battery life compared to stock? Especially screen on time?

use a galaxy a8 as a daily phone and the s5 as a second phone use linage os 15.1 official; the phone is fuido like never before. thank you all for the hard work
For me, it's LineageOS. But I cannot use it due to some strange sound problems, that's why I'm looking for an alternative that has OTA update included.
The stock isn't that good because it's bloated, you cannot do much without root, and if you root the stock rom, you wouldn't be able to install OTA updates, you'll need a computer or something to make it manually, on S5 stock rom you mix the sdcard + manual to get more space. The only 2 things that the stock rom are good for, IMO, it's the battery.. it lasts longer. Also, the camera is better, using any ROM, even with xposed, you can't get much when talking about the camera. The stock will always be better than any available rom.
My daily driver was the "xXx NoLimits" -Rom, which is based on stock.
The main point why it was this rom is the battery drain. LineageOS 14.1 especially 15 has a very high battery drain, so I've downgraded to Stock Rom and was happy
I like it, that LineageOS has a very good performance and clean design, but battery time is everything for me
Another point is the camera, because the camera in LineageOS isn't that good like the stock camera from Samsung-Roms.
LineageOS based roms do have much features and are smaller but at the end the stock rom wins for me :fingers-crossed:
After some trouble and frustration I'll stick with Resurrection Remix 6.1 (Oreo 8.1). It uses much less memory, is stable and fast. Amazing. It feels like I got a brand new phone. The S5 is a decent device. I use it extensively and don't see any reasons why I should buy a newer model.

What's about battery drain?
I've made the experience that the battery life is very bad with Oreo Roms ?
I never liked stock based ROMs so the only ones I've actually used are TouchWiz ones and the best from those is Nemesis Reborn. But recently I decided to go back to stock S5 ROM to get the most out of my device as nothing beats the firmware with which your phone came when new. I'll be buying the Note 10 after the S11 comes out so will stick to my S5 for another 1.5 years, bought it in February 2015.
l have a crDROID 7.1.2 klte v3.8.5 rom on my s5 and it runs great.
lve tried a couple of 8.1 roms but for some reason everytime l turn on or restart
my s5 it takes about 30 seconds for it to get pass the Samsung Galaxy logo
before the boot animation comes on.
l dont know why it does that l'll stick with what works for me....
I use an S5 prime with lineage 14 as a daily driver. I struggled with the battery life for a while until I installed 3c toolbox. It does what it says on the tin.
The built in camera app doesn't work, but there are others that work. I'm not bothered about quality.

Is there any totally funcional and stable custom rom for j3 2016? Lacking int. memory

Hi guyz
I've bought j3 2016 for my mum. I havn't checked it much before I purchased it though. It turned out it has this cancerous memory issues... Only little apps can be installed and not many of them. They can't be trasferred to sd card.
So, is there any custom rom which provides this memory ? It must be stable and fully - functional because it is my mother's phone so I don't want to hear everyday that something is not working right (e.g. camera). I don't mind which version of android it would be.

Which is the best Nougat rom for S7 EDGE?

As I said in the title, I need to know which is the best rom Nougat in terms of stability, battery and in general, because I have tried all of oreo and I have problems of overheating and battery drain and since I can not do a downgrade, I need a custom ROM with Nougat that is stable for daily use to install in the S7 Edge, (G935F), I appreciate your help
I would say batman or ironman Rom. I've been using batman (with batstock v1.4.5) for quit some time and still think its great. I would recommend envy's taste of pie theme to get a bit of a pie look on nougat
