Hi guys
So I have an iPhone 6s (yeah I know, been a long time android user but switched) and bought a thor pro. The watch is very good but connectivity is hideous...the wiiwatch app is absolute garbage. It keeps my iPhone awake to maintain the connection (cpu wakelock) and drains a lot of battery. And once I have to restart either my watch or my iPhone I have to pair it again.
I had an amazfit pace before and the app for it worked perfectly, never had these issues...
Is anyone suffering the same or have any alternative? Or am I the only one affected by this?
BTW just today my watch restarted out of the blue (I have very limited use of the watch, just for checking notifications mainly).
Hey their... In my watch, the language turns chinese in the default keyboard after sometime...initially its english but I think the default keyboard shows stuff in english but the suggestion panel is in chinese...besides this on gboard, the enter button is hidden in the watch curve so can't be pressed...which other keyboard could be used???help!!!

at the bottom center of the keyboard is a key labeled either EN or CN, tap it to switch from English to Chinese or vice versa.
Is the original problem resolved? I have same bluetooth connectivity issues on my recently bought thor pro.

Damn.. its very nice,,!!
I was asking around and have searched the web to find out how to pair and connect my Tmo branded SGT with bluetooth keyboard for past few days, and now I got it working with my tab. I am typing this now with the apple bluetooth keyboard paired to my TAb.I have searched the web, and dound out that every devices with Froyo has built in HID BT device support. Thus, unless Samsung has removed that code from the os when they were coding, it should be there. People with G1, G2, Nexus, SGS were using the Bt keyboard out there already!! So I started to mass with my Bt keyboard and Tab to pair by trying every possible clicks..
So here comes what I have found so far and how to set it up with tmo SGT.
First, you have to turn on ur BT HID Keyboard to pairing mode X)
Second, you need to type the numbers required for the pairing with the keyboard numeric pad and click the enter with the keyboard. (This was where I first got confused since the tab has no screen to type on..)
Third, it will pair with ur Bt keyboard, but then it will fail to connect..
Don't be frustrated!. Here is the magic step. Got it? LONG PRESS THE DEVICE at the setting!! It will lead to the screen where you can choose whether 'connect, forget, or options'.
Fourth, click the options, Then check the connect and HID Device BOX!! That's it!
It will either directly connect with your keyboard or let you try again to connect.
And it connects! You can start typing with your Bt keyboard for ur TAB.
So simple..... can not believe that I have wasted past two days without being able to find out this simple step.(and many others were failing too!!...)
And since I was using the Apple BT keyboard. Here is what I have found so far regarding this specific device for my Tab.
1. Esc button works as back button on the Tab.
2. F1 button works as menu button on the Tab.
3. From the home screen, you can open google search by typing any words with the keyboard.
4. F3 button shows the message "this device does not have working dialer" box. :X
5. F4 turns off and on the screen of TAB
6. If you use languages other than english, you also can type in that language using Bt keyboard by simply pressing shift + space bar on the BT KEYBOARD.
However, to do so, you should install third party keyboard that supports physical keyboards..(for such as G1 or G2). Samsung default keyboard and google Korean IME( Obviously I am from Korea ) wouldn't allow me to do so. But some third party Korean keyboard and smart keyboard pro allowed me to do so.
That's it for now.
If I can find something else, I will update here as well...
Now I only need to wait for someone to hack this one to make voice call with 3G data.
Ps. Does anyone know good BT keyboard with track pad by chance? That way I may not need to get the mouse.... less devices to carry.... is always good.
On the VZW tab, theonly long press items are connect and unpair. There isn't an options.

Nice! Thanks for the info... you convinced me to head out and grab one.

that's weird... Once I paired it. then long press will show the option.
Of course, it wont show option menu until u actually pair it.
I thought verizon one had to be same as tmo one in most ways...
... by the way.. now I need to talk on the tab with 3g so that I can sell my galaxy s to make up the expanse for the tab. :S
Is this a USA T-Mobile Tab ?

I am having problems with my 3rd party bluetooth keyboard connecting. I did use the HID option, but it still will not connect. It does pair, but not connect.
Do you know if this process is supposed to work with other Bluetooth keyboards? I'm trying to connect a motorola keyboard and not having any luck.
I was able to get the Apple BT keyboard to connect to the SGT. Works great.
hey guys,
is there a way to pair a bluetoothkeyboard with the defy? And is there a cable to pair the defy with a tv?
Mfg.Homer
As for the cable to TV, I don't think so.
But wouldn't any Bluetooth keyboard just pair with the Defy, or is that dependent on some profile that is not present on the Defy? I.e. do you own a keyboard and can't make it work, or do you just want to know if it would work?
There is a keyboard from "HAMA" which works...but you need any add-on...
keyboards
Tried a chinese bluetooth kb ... driver didn´t work.
3rd party drivers did somehow, but have been a pain in the ass in daily use.
Hardware keyboard which would be best in thinking of energy doesn´t because of missing USB Host.
Still: Defy ist the best phone I ever had ... but the road is loohooong ...
A quick Google search suggests there are enough keyboards to choose from. Just check if there is an Android driver and you should be fine.
Don't really get why one would want a keyboard though. It kind of undoes the portability and it seems a hassle to use. Don't get me wrong: I loved the keyboard on my old HTC Wizard. But that one was integrated in the phone which might be a better option for you as well!

- because you need some sort of time machine to get another waterproof mobile with a querty keyboard.
I would have liked a micro one for a adventure trip to proper blog and chat - the phones are nearly usable for that.
It works with Froyo !
Sorry for such a late post. Anyway, I bought this cheap BT keyboard some time ago. Whilst running the stock Eclair ROM, I had to use 3rd party applications to handle it, but never without lots of issues. I had bought it for test purposes, since Android was not listed as a supported platform. But after I flashed Froyo (in my case, the 3.4.3-11 UK ROM), the keyboard just works as it should. After it was paired (the digit sequence specified on the phone - I chose the widely known 0000 - must be entered in the BT keyboard, followed by <Enter>), I just turn the keyboard on (with the Defy's BT radio also turned on, of course) and press any key. The bluetooth link is immediately established, and I'm able enter data to any applications through it.
Just my 2 cents...
Regards,
Carlos
good news
thanks4info.
I will jump on the CM7 train as soon as (a)gps is ok and will try there.
Still hoping to get usb host running, as other projects successfully activated it per software. Will post results after playing around with CM7.

Wow! For a long time, there was no posts at all in this thread. Ok, back to business. You see, I'm running CM10 too. In fact, due to some issues, I'm still on Quarx 11/17 build. Anyway, until I saw your post, my keyboard was forgotten in a drawer. I took it off, turned it on, pressed a key, and, although it was already paired with the phone, an entry in the status bar came up, which, upon being tapped, asked me to either allow or deny the connection. After a couple of times answering 'Yes', the bluetooth icon, in the status bar, turned blue, and, from that point on, all the text I entered was correctly taken by the phone, without any issues. Have you gone through this phase as well?
EDIT: have just flashed Quarx's CM10.1 05/27 build. Couldn't find a way to make my BT keyboard work with it. Haven't tried his CM10 new buiild, but as they seem to share all the radio (BT, Wifi) parts, it is most probable that it won't work there either. I'm already back to his 11/17 build.
there's some keybords that works, but it depends on the ROM too.
I had a chinese one, and it was a lot better to type than the touch keyboard, but, for me it wasn't very useful because I was unable to use some accents, and I usualy type in Portuguese.
For some reason, my phone and ZenWatch 2 randomly un-pair then try to pair a few seconds after. The weirdest part is that even this happens smart lock gets disabled. I have to be turned back on and add the watch as a trusted device again. It happens maybe once a week and while not a big deal, it is starting to get annoying.
Both are running the latest firmware and Android release. I have performed factory resets on the watch but I'm trying to avoid doing do on my phone. The watch is missing from the bluetooth devices menu do it's not an Android Wear app connection issue. Has this happened anyone?

I don't have a ZenWatch... I have a Pebble Time so I can't really help you but I did have issues trying to get mine to pair and not showing in the bluetooth screen. I found that I had to go into the watch and the settings / bluetooth before the watch would "broadcast" and be available to be "found" in the bluetooth list so that may be one thing you can check with the Zenwatch .. have the settings for the bluetooth open on the watch then try to find it on the Axon 7. I also couldn't pair it in that spot ... it kept giving me a "passcode" error. I had to go to the Pebble app on the phone and pair it through the app.
As for the random unpairing ... sorry to say I don't really have any suggestions on that .. that may be the watch itself ... my pebble has never unpaired once it has been connected.

I didn't have this issue with my last phone (HTC m9) so I don't think it's the watch

sorry for replying and giving you hope you had an answer ... I figured I would just relay my small issues because I never had those issues with my old Galaxy but had a bit with the Axon. Plus the Pebble doesn't use android wear so I really haven't had any experience with it ... sorry again for not actually providing any real help
I had the same issues with zenwatch and zenwatch 2 on different phones. So I just returned them. I assumed the zenwatch's just wouldn't work on Samsung devices. So maybe similar for you is and isn't the watch.
I currently have Samsung gear s2 working fine with phone. (There is issue with phone calls but that is great software issue on every phone other then Samsung)
I had the same issues with my zenwatch2. First the bluetooth devicelist on the phone was empty,no paired devices, i had to do a reset on the watch and pair it new.
This week i had the reconnect issue so i deactivated the audio playback in the zenwatchin settings, now everything works fine.

I'll give that a try
Hey guys,
I got my K88H last week, and I've been trying to get it to work with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro (intl) but I'm rather baffled by the way it is detected.
Bluetooth-wise, it is detected twice : once with the bluetooth icon (settings only allow to unpair or rename), and once with the keyboard icon (can set as input device, contact sharing, and phone/media audio).
If I want to access my SMS (which incidentally does not work, as I get a "Currently not support" message), it asks me to connect using BT, and activates the second entry (keyboard icon), even if the first was already connected. The first one looks like it is enough for notifications, though, and it is the one recognized by the Mediatek app (displayed in the "My Device" section).
Is there any kind of real documentation regarding the Mediatek SmartDevice app somewhere?
Does anyone have any clue as to how this stuff is set up?
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
well i have a oneplus one phone and it doesnt let me see any of my sms. all other stuff works correctly. anyone that can access their sms??

Have you tried the Fundo Wear app? I could see my SMS, but the rest of the app was very subpar (always losing connection, no automatic reconnect, ...)
The plot thickens : after switching to Galapad Smartwear (virtually identical to Mediatek), SMS worked. Switching back to Mediatek, and it still works, but ... I have to allow the BT connection for phone audio. If I disable phone audio and media audio, the BT connection drops as soon as I try to read my SMS.
Hello,
i use the lem5 with sim ( standalone ) with bluetooth headset
voice call are ok, but media/music have a stutter issue
if i pass the music trough 'voice call' profile with btmono app, music doesn't stutter ( but poor sound quality due to microphone enabled )
i mailed the lemfo support but no response yet, am i the only experiencing this bluetooth issue ?
also bt device 'lem ios' ( i suppose is the bt chip that allow bt connection to apple crap ^^ ) look always on is it possible to disable it ?
i'm using the watch since one week, i'm globally happy with it
general issue encountered with this device:
-overheat when poor 3g/2G data signal
-not enough battery capacity
-provided keyboard could be ok if english can be set as default ...

contacted lemfo support , they tell device is defect
gearbest provide 2 solutions refund ( need to send pkg in china ) or pay me 15$
