I see a lot of people asking for MIUI.. There are all these Redmi devices and other devices from Xiaomi with MIUI.. This phone (Mi A1) is a device with stock Android.. Why sould it be different from the other Android one devices???? Because you want MIUI?? There are people including myself who bought this device for the software. And not for MIUI.. When I had the LG Nexus 5 years before, I didnt remember anyone asking for a rom with LG UX skin.. Stop with this MIUI.. I get it.. Most people like it and it's okay.. My brother has the Mi 6 and he loves it.. I personally don't like it.. And I would never buy a Mi 6 or a Mi Mix or a Redmi Note device and ask all the time the developers to build a stock like Android rom because I don't like MIUI buti would buy a OnePlus or a Pixel or a Moto phone....
I'm changing my device to a Redmi 4x, so i'm no longer supporting redmi 2 officially, if anyone need help on something kernel related you can send me a message in PM
This was one of the best device communities I was on. See ya everyone! :fingers-crossed:

Dear All,
Is there anybody that can share an international ROM for a Ticwatch S2?
I guess it will be same with E2.
I happen to buy a Chinese version and battery life is pretty bad, maybe 5-6 hrs max with all sensors deactivated.
Thanks
hello, tell you helped find International ROM for Ticwatch S2?
So far no luck.
Did anybody manage to create a custom ROM based on International or can anyone share an image/ backup?
Help!
Hy, I have redmi note 7, it is not pairing with my smart watch (ticwatch e2), my watch is pairing with other cellphones like ( iPhone and Motorola) but not with xiaomi redmi phones I tried to pair it with redmi note 4 as well, kindly look into this
Hi even I'm looking for S2 firmware. But no luck.
Has any developer started with los and other custom roms? I can find any thread in roms and kernel section.
The phone only just came out, you need to be patient. Its not as popular as the PRO.
So far I have seen that a Mokee developer is working on it : https://github.com/davinci-dev
I will be waiting on some quality roms before buying this phone.
There's a lot of developer activity on the k20 pro forum the past few days, so hopefully the regular k20/mi 9t gets some attention too. My mi 9t should be arriving this week, and I really don't want to have to use MIUI forever.
I think at the end, the better choice to avoid problems, is to leave the global from the day of purchase

miui is trash, and im not going to buy the phone if there are no alternatives.
I notice that it's not popular as the Pro and i think there will no be change about this, every day there are new rom, new update with the K20 Pro but not K20
K20 is equally popular but problem is broken kernel try hence once it is fixed we will surly get roms and kernels

Hello Everyone,
I want to know If Black Shark pro 2 12 /256gb Is developer friendly or not.
I am not a developer but Can be considered advanced user. I want to know if Black Shark pro 2 12 /256gb Variant is Developer Friendly like rooting, Installing Twrp, Will I be able to do stock updates without losing twrp and rooting, Switching to custom Roms in future (Option should be available).
I am coming from redmi note 4 SD version So buying this phone will be a big purchase for me and if I purchase it I don't want any problems for next 3-4 years either Hardware or software related.
I will be using Black Shark pro 2 very very less for gaming but mostly for other heavy apps and lot of multi tasking. I want to know if BS pro 2 will be good for this.
I will be using this phone in India but it will be purchased outside India. After searching Internet I see I will not get warranty also.
Any help is highly Appreciated.
Thanks In Advance
Best Wishes

Developer friendly no, there is no kernel source code, even official BlackShark forum is removed from site so again big no for custom roms or recoveries.
And as for other things, go for it. It is a beast of device, it will successfully solve any task you throw at it.

Thanks a lot for replying. Really Appreciate it.
I am really frustrated. I want to know if I will not even get Twrp and rooting and Titanium Backup in BS pro 2 12/256gb Global version.
Twrp has saved my RN4 many times from 1-2 times bricked and many times from bootloop.
Realme x2 pro mobile 12/256gb is also not developer friendly nor is Asus rog 2 12gb/256gb.
Tried a lot to get K20 Pro 12 gb ram 512gb premium edition now Xiaomi Mi 9t pro 12gb/512gb. I hear its one of the favourites here at Xda.
Any good phone in $400-500 range with 12gb ram 256gb or 512gb memory and good processor like 855+ or better and developer friendly with forum support.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
