video recorded plays sideways on PC - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I'm either missing something glaringly obvious or there is no solution to this, but every time I record a video on my phone in landscape mode, when watching this later on a PC the video is 90 degrees rotated.
Where would I find the setting to avoid this, or auto-rotate on my phone please? As far as I know, only the header tag would need changing which has nothing to do with how the video has been recorded.
The only solution I found thus far was to use the Photos built-in app and rotate the video, however it takes a good while to create the new file this way and I'm not even sure how this affects the quality of the video.
Thank you.

Recording video in Landscape mode with t-mobile wing
How would I go about recording video on my tmobile in full screen mode as if I were taking a picture. Because I am getting tired of trying to record videos with that little box on the screen. Also do I always have to tilt my phone sideways in order to do this. I would rather record video as if it was in portrait mode. Thank you.
The wing's camera is a 2 megapixel camera. The video function can undoubtedly capture far less. Due to processor constraints and other stuff i'm sure, there is a maximum size that you can capture video.
As to the sideways thing, that is just how the program is made.
some time ago i was on yahoo answers n found some1 who ask the same question n some1 answered it saying that there is a program 2 record in full screen mode but dont remember the name. if i can find it ill surely post it

Recording video in background

Hi there.
Anyone knows the way to continue recording video with HD2 in background?
I'd like to both make video recording and use the GPS navigation program.
Since the functionality of standard video camera application on HD2 is rather good (sound recording, different types of recording, nice quality) I failed to find any good alternative for it. I know only two programs which are positioned as video register programs for PDAs and both them are not suitable due to a number of reasons. (both apps I'm referring to are oriented to Russian market, AvtoDVR and MyDVR).
May be anyone knows the register key which allows to continue video recording after sending the camera application to the background?
Thanks for help!
I second the request.
I subscribed to a thread which has since long been dead, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=597003 where we were asking for this exactly (and a little more, as well) and AutoDVR came up too.
There's a problem tho: it's pay2use, and a program with banal background video recording shouldn't be (but AutoDVR still offers other interesting features, like video looping through MJPEG format, and gps speed watermarking), and it is severely messed up on the HD2 (as in, not useable, as soon as you switch it to background/lock the phone, the video gets garbled and the program interface does, as well)

[Q] Video (and picture) Orientation Issues

Hi all,
Wondering if I'm alone in having an issue where every video I record seems to be recording in the "wrong" orientation when played on PC. For example, I'll record a video with the phone held upright in portrait mode. When I copy the same video to a PC and play it it is recognized as being basically sideways (i.e the video is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise, to play correctly it needs to be rotated 90 degree back to the right).
I've yet to find a setting to fix this and while I know it can be corrected with a video editor I'd much rather they be oriented correctly right off the bat when copied over to PC. Has anyone else experienced this or knows why/how to fix?
Thanks for your time!
Video should be done in landscape. Have you tried that?
Thanks Devs. From my VZW G2.

Same here. When I take pictures or record videos--depending on how I hold my phone--it would either be sideways or upside down. I tested this with multiple camera apps--even stock. For example, if I take pictures in landscape mode--LG logo to the left and Verizon logo to the right in front of phone--the pictures would be upside-down if I view it on Windows. It looks fine if I view it on my LG G2 (VS980).
Any idea on how to fix this? Anyone else having this issue?

Video lag issue

I have an issue that I can't seem to find an answer for. I've tried searching google, but I can't seem to find anything that is similar to my problem.
I want to use the camera on my phone to record myself playing guitar. I recorded a quick video while using my PC to record audio at the same time. When I imported the video into my editor and synced up the video with the original song and my audio recording they were out of sync with the video by half way through.
It's like the video I'm recording is lagging as it records and stretching the time out longer than what I actually recorded. Is there any solution to this problem? Has anyone experienced this before?

Facebook "Related Videos" in App

Does anyone know how to get rid of the related video's that come up whilst trying to watch a Facebook video in portrait?
They take up at least a quarter of the screen making the video small, it's not really possible to watch a portrait video in landscape.
I can't find any setting for it in the app settings itself, unless I've missed something. I can't even full screen the video.
Someone must have an idea?
