Mi A1 possible wifi/Bluetooth bug. - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
I was wondering if any of you faced the following issue and if you did, how did you fix it.
So I've been using Mi A1 for quite some time now and for the past few months sometimes when I unlock my screen I can see the Bluetooth turn on for a moment and then turn itself off.
Also, when I'm playing music in the car through Bluetooth, if i turn my screen off and then turn it back on, the Bluetooth turns off by itself. I have to connect to the car stereo again to continue playing music.
Other than this, I've also noticed that sometimes when I'm using my phone the wifi gets turned off out of the blue.
Anyone know what's going on here?

Motorola S9 Headset handsfree issue

Hi All
I got Motorola S9 Headset handsfree and when anyone calls me or i call them they get the echo back it is unuseable, i thought let you all know not to get this type of headset for HTC HD and if anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know.
thanks
I am not able to help much there, but i do not get any issues myself with echo when any calls come though. They work very well for me, my only downside to the S9 is music listening can stop now and then, but thats just an issue with the phone that hopefully be fixed in a new update.
One thing thou i noticed thou, if i turn the phone onto stand by manually using the power button once, then i connect my headset while in standby it works fine, or if i leave it on, again it works fine. Only time is when it goes into standby itselfs.
Maybe worth testing it when its in standby and connecting your S9's
Thanks for replay. could you explain how you mean? connect as stand by.
thanks
By the way I tried on my mate HTC HD as well he got the exact same problem, it is HTC problem
Basically i make sure bluetooth is switched on with S9 off, make sure there all paired up. Then i press the power button once quickly on the HD which turns screen off and into standby mode (cuts off any data connections on mine) Then turn on the S9's which will then connect to the HD on its own. This way works alot better for me using my items.

Pausing Bluetooth.

Having a problem and can't track it down.
Apparently no one else os having this same issue!?
My bluetooth stereo headsets pauses for 1 second every 15 seconds.
I first thought it was only to my Motorola T505 but it now happens on my Motorola HT820s.
It's intermittent, it didn't happen the first few times I used the HT820s. i've gone two days using the T505 without any pauses.
It happens plugged in or on battery power, both headsets are fully charged, I've repaired them both a number of times, I've even reset the phone.
The HT820s are old tech, the T505 has worked pretty much flawless with every other phone I've paired it with.
I'm at a total loss.
Try turning off your wi-fi.

Thanks. I'll try that as soon as I can repeat the problem. As of right now it's NOT pausing again.
I can't remember offhand is I played with any Wi-Fi settings the two days it didn't pause.
Sounds promising.
Need to check some more. Earlier today I fired up Pandora and it was skipping turned off Wi-Fi and it instantly stopped.
At home again it's not pausing with Wi-Fi on, Next time out I'll try to see if turning off the Wi-Fi notifications will stop the pausing.
-edit: This morning I left the house with Wi-Fi on, music did NOT pause, I then turned on notifications and it started skipping, At that point the only "fix" was to turn off Wi-Fi altogether, simply turning notifications back off did nothing.

[Q] Blutooth Issues

Can someone help as HTC have not been helpoful. I have been having problems with bluetooth dropping out randomly with my car-kit.
To cut a long story short if i set power save options to always on, then got my admin to disable auto lock on the exchange system. Then when i get in the car turn the phone bluetooth on it never drops out.
It would seem it is then a power save problem, the bluetooth clearly suffers when the phone goes into this mode.
Unfortunately i need the auto lock on from exchange (business reasons) and the max timeout is 10 minutes. so unless i wake the phone up every 10 minutes it will cause the bluetooth to drop out.
One other quirk is that the car bluetooth must be on before the phones or the bluetooth will drop out in about 10 minutes. This applies if i leave the car and return with the phone bluetooth on.
The phone always need switching on and off before it will work again.
The car software is the latest and technically the snap is not listed as a supported phone.
Is there anything i can do (WM 6.5)
Thanks

Bluetooth Connected keeps showing on secondary screen

Whenever I connect to one of my Bluetooth devices it shows that it's "Connected to xxxxx" in the secondary screen.
However, after I disconnect from the Bluetooth device it still says its connected in the secondary screen and the secondary screen just hangs there frozen saying its connected. I can only get rid of it by restarting the device.
Anyone else having this issue?
I'm experiencing this issue. I think it started happening after applying the latest update.
to fix it w/o restarting the device, you can go to settings - display - second screen and turn off 'show when main screen on' and back on.
I have this and all kinds of BT issues with my car.
Bluetooth has given me a lot of problems. Secondary screen stuck displaying the "connected" message, Bluetooth crashing, and high CPU usage when not connected. I've had better experience by toggling Bluetooth off and on with Tasker after disconnecting from my car. Figure it gives it a kick causing it to play nice.

So it's not just me having bluetooth issues lately. I was getting ready to drop by AT&T because of all the problems it''s been giving me lately connecting to things on bluetooth...
Mine has recently started doing the same thing with second screen stuck on connected to vehicle Bluetooth. I do remember updating recently so I am unsure what cause this issue. I am using stock with ATT

I tried this trick and it only works temporarily. After an hour or so the same connection message will appear even though I'm not connected. So annoying. Come on LG! I like their devices but there is always some annoying issues with their phones.
Are you guys also experiencing general notification issues?
Example, I click on a Twitter or Kijiji notification and the app won't open or I can't respond within the notification shade any more.

I'm wondering if this is the cause of everyone else's bluetooth/notification issues. Worth a shot.
Ever since I upgraded to 10K from 10J on T-Mobile it has started doing this. Once I am connected I never have a problem with Bluetooth but connecting has been inconsistent ever since upgrading. My car stereo for example used to connect automatically now to get it to reconnect I have to turn off the stereo and the Bluetooth radio on my phone and then both back on @ same time otherwise I have to manually connect through the phone BT menu
Been having issues with bluetooth too. I've gotten into the habit of just turning it off after I get out of the car, then turning it on right before I get back in the car. If I leave it on all the time it fails to connect about half the time I turn on the car, if not more. Strangely I don't have the same issue with my Anker speakers, so I sort of assumed the car was the problem, but it seems not from these comments

This seems to have fixed it for me! I had the same issue after updating my phone to the latest build.

Same exact issue. It only seems to happen to my car stereo since I upgraded to 10K. But my other speakers and headsets 99% of the time it will connect by itself.
Same issue here. Super annoying. Appears to have shown up around the same time that all my notifications stopped working.
I've been having the same issue. I use Car Home Ultra, and noticed that it was very delayed starting, and would start randomly even after leaving my car/disconnecting bluetooth. I thought it was a problem with that app, but now it appears it's that the phone is delayed in notifying of bluetooth connect/disconnect.
I constantly have the "connected" notification taking up the second screen until I reboot.
I am experiencing this aswell, and , when connecting to my SYNC 3 in my Ford Focus, it says connected, but it isn't. If someone rings me, the hand set rings.
It seems to be the initial handshake, if the phone's bluetooth is off when i turn car on, then i turn blutooth on and select "sync 3" it's all good, but if bluetooth is already on , and i switch car on , i get the message on the radio it's connected to my phone... but i cant access contacts or messages ( even though they are ticked in bluetooth menu )...
lucky for the 2 year warranty...
Disabling the Google app has fixed this issue and fixed my push notifications. Not ideal but doesn't appear any other answer exists.
Anybody have any updates on this issue? I have been having the connected message showing more frequently to my vehicles. I have been turning off second display and back on to remove. Thanks for the suggestion Adam about disabling Google app but like you said it is not ideal.
So on Verizon they just pushed a system update. Post update, I enabled Google app, and everything appears to be working great thus far.
I don't remember when but the issue just kind of went away without any action on my part. Maybe it was an update?
