No, But you can add the power button shortcut in navigation bar, If you don't wanna press the power button.
Process: Install Custom Navigation Bar from playstore, Grant Permission via adb.

That apps mostly lock via device admin.Hence for next unlock I compulsorily need to enter password and fingerprint fails here.

maybe give the app root access in superuser permissions
To clarify...
Click the "Allow" or "Always Allow" button. This shows up when an application is trying to perform a function that needs root access. Think of it like Windows Vista/7's UAC.

I got that with a BeHero rom, Villain shows some buttons to choose from, couldn't get it work with that rom, don't know why.
I had this problem with multiple roms, Just remember to do the proper method.
Recovery Menu
Wipe EVERYTHING
Flash Latest Radio
Restart into recovery again
Flash ROM
Restart into ROM
Restart again,
Use the ROM as you normally would, if you get the same problem, try another ROM..
I tried to take a screenshot using the Screenshot It app ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.edwardkim.android.screenshotitfull ) but all the screenshot appeared with the superuser permission toast message. I checked the Superuser app's settings but can't any setting to turn it off for KF. Anyone has any idea how to disable it manually? I just need to turn it off temporary whenever I need to take a screenshot.
Well on my Fire I use the built in screen shot feature but I have no idea if you are stock w/root or on CM7 it is hard to help you when you do not provide any information.

I'm using stock launcher and Superuser doesn't show up in the app listing. Do you know how I would get to it? Through a shortcut perhaps (similar to Market Opener for android market) ?
hi
I have a rooted nexus 6p and I tried to install gmd hide soft keys.
and the "checking root access" bar stuck and I cant use the app...
what can I do?
thanks
How do you have rooted it?
I had that issue, too. I use SuperSU, I was on the previous 2.78 when I tried to use the app, but after it didn't work, I uninstalled the app.
The app description on the play store gives no mention of N, and looks to have not been updated since October of last year. Maybe it's a compatibility issue?
It's probably not compatible with systemless root.
You can try hide navbar with substratum and then use a different navigation mode like pie or swipe/gestures

It depends on what you like... Pie Control is for the pie navigation mode or one app that I like too very much is Swipe Gesture (IAP on the play store)
There is even Dynamic NavBar but I remember that on my Marshmallow causes problem when I was on Nexus 5 after that I haven't more tried on Nougat..
I had the same problem trying out GMD Gesture Control Lite and stumbled upon a workaround. Not sure if it will work with the other GMD apps, but it might be worth a try.
When you first open the app after installing, hit the home button to exit to the desktop when SuperSU asks you to grant permission before the time runs out. Then go into SuperSU and manually grant permission to the app. Then go to the app and it should have root access.
Tried for curiosity GMD auto hide soft keys and same problem..it asks root access but then it stuck on "checking root access" for unknown reasons... On SuperSU access is granted.. I think the app is not fully ready for Nougat

Also worked for me. Before I had the same issue, forever stuck on the "checking root access" bug.
Thank you so much!
Hi, after I unlock my phone screen, BusyBox is often open. I always close it and when I unlock again, the busybox window is still open
My question, How to know which app or what process launch the busybox windows ?
Nougat 7.1.1
Rooted with SuperSU SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031
TWRP twrp-3.0.2-2-angler
Elemental X Kernel (Left Swipe Sleep and double tap gesture activated)
Viper4Android (ARISE+Sound+Systems+Leviticus+1.3)
Themed with Pixel Experience - Update v9

You mean the busybox app is open? If it's the STEricson one it doesn't do anything other than update the binary.
Logcat should tell you what's going on though.

Yes that's the Stericson busy box... yes I mean open after an unlock even if I closed it (swipe to remove app from "running" app) It's not a big problem but It's annoying
Where the logcat are located (path) ?
In attached file : Image of opened windows after unlock

I would clear the app data/cache for the app, then uninstall and re-install it.
I use this app to read logcats: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nolanlawson.logcat Or just adb it.

Thanks for the suggestion, i'll try it !
PS- Logcat flooded with LightFlow events almost unreadable! lol
Clear Cache + Data didn't solved the "problem" ..
It doesn't everytime so it's no easy to diagnostic with Logcat (as mention earlier, lightflow flood the logcat!)
Hi, I have updated my P8 lite to ALE-L21C432B616. (unlocked bootloader, not rooted,) During the setup I denied some permissions and now the torch will not work.
When I click torch icon it it just says permission denied.
When I long press it and 'check app info' it goes to System UI version MM and it says no permissions requested. I cannot find any Torch app on the phone. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks.
Just download Google play store torch!

Do you use Nova launcher?
I had same error when I use this launcher
Hi RootingPro-18, thanks i will try a different torch from play store if it is not possible to use the standard torch.
Adi5 yes im using nova launcher, since u mention that I did a bit of searching it seems there are permission denied issues which can affect other things as well as torch. Now I have an idea where the problem is I can do some searching and try find a solution.
Thank you.
