How to install cm12 (mrsteve) on sp . by @[SIZE="5"]Dammer Martins[/SIZE]
Small tutorial for instalation of the steves build with working camera and wifi:
1-Download the ROM , ramdix fix, stock kernel and root fix
2-Open the ROM zip an push the ramdisk fiz in to system/bin folder
3-Now, put the ROM zip fixed, stock kernel and the root fix in your sdcard
4-Reboot in recovery, wipe data, cache and dalvik cache
5-Install the ROM, the stock kernel and then the root fix
6-Now reboot the system and wait the phone boot up (this take a veeery long time, trust me )
Tips: don't flash the gapps with the ROM instalation and disable the adaptive brightness to make the auto reboots stop.

Hello,
Finally a fix has arrived for android 5.0 which will allow wi-fi data, outgoing calls, ... to work again
Steps:
1: Make sure your device is running android 5.0 by mrsteve555: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...8#post56946968
2: root the device by flashing this file: http://download.chainfire.eu/589/Sup...erSU-v2.16.zip
3: Reboot your device and open up terminal emulator
4: type su, press enter and give it root acces
5: type setenforce 0 and press enter
6: WAIT untill the device asks you to enter your sim pin (this means that it worked)
7: turn on wi-fi (it might take a little long to turn on wi-fi though)
8: that's it
9: well not yet there is one step you can do to make it easier to change the selinux state, Download and install this app:https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....selinux&hl=en
10: again make sure your device is rooted
11: open the app and now you can switch between permissive (this mode is the one that fixed the issues) and enforcing (default mode: wi-fi, ... don't work on this mode)
FAQ:
What is not affected (what doesn't work): The camera (can't connect to camera or hot reboot when launching camera app), more?
What is affected (what is fixed): WI-FI, Data (LTE too) Outgoing calls, more?
Do i have to do this everytime i boot my device: Yes for now you do
On what build does it run: mrsteve555's build, there were 2 reports of it not working on bagy's build

just update titanium backup to latest version in case of super user access error.like this : can't aquire root provileges....this attemtp was made using the "/system/xbin/su" command.
Fix wifi hotspot => credit : MrSteve555
setup zram in android 5[credit : Mrsteve555]

And zram doesn't make phone "much faster", it just allows more multitasking while slowing the phone a bit.

Fix for music file not playing when you uncheck nuplayer in developer options
The solution to that will be installing viper audio. There is a different version for lollipop. You have to flash 3 zips. They need nuplayer off so you can play music and videos easily with nuplayer off

Youve stated that GSM voice hasnt been tested - This is voice calls. Are they working on MrSteves build with the latest fixes or not as there seems to be mixed reports.

just open terminal : type su-> type setenforce 0,hit enter.if no dialog appears dont worry,it's ok.
go to settings-> about phone-> make sure that SELinux status = premissive.
see the bug list :

The problem will occur if you do this on first flash as itll take a lot longer to boot and the auto brightness forced reboot will kick in before it finishes. Once system is in and auto brightness disabled then install gapps.

Navigation bar and Pie controls
I know when I moved from 4.4 to 5.0 most things that I could get from xposed or custom roms were gone such as pie controls. I've been looking around for ages and I've managed to remove navigation bar using build.prop and adding a highly customizable pie controls app. If anyone wants a tutorial made to hide navigation bar and get pie controls just ask and ill do it

Pie
Keep Pie In Memory​
1. Search root explorer in Google play 3rd one down.
2. Open it and press mount R/W ( top of app)
3. Go into root directory and open the folder data.
4. Create new file and name it local.prop
5. Long hold the newly created app and press open in text editor.
6. Add com.android.lmt
This is to prevent android removing the service from memory when it is low.
Remove Navigation Bar​
1. Open build.prop located on /system
2. Add qemu.hw .mainkeys = 1 Remember to add a space between either side of the equals or it won't work
3.Do not reboot until you have downloaded LMT launcher
Add Pie Controls​
LMT Launcher ( PIe Controls (Not an actual launcher like nova or apex its just called that) )
1. Download the latest apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
2. Open the app make sure autostart is selected
3. Swipe right until you get to Pie.
4.Use these settings ( navigate to the screenshots) it will get rid of the unneeded two extra slots of pie controls
Finally Reboot
If you have titanium backup convert lmt launcher into a system app to integrate the pie controls more into the system

Because the ramdisk inside the zip is either corrupt or incomplete, resulting in bootloop if flashed.

Note: This is also a way to install Any custom ROM made in the future. If someone wanna Customize the ROM( Integrate Xposed and other stuff) feell free to do it.
What does this mean:
Meizu released two versions of the Pro 6 Plus, a chineese version (A) for china and an International version (G) for the devices sold in other countries (International). If you bought your Pro 6 plus from official meizu store on your country, it will come with the G version, but if you bought it from Aliexpress or any other Chinese store, you will buy a Chinese version, some seller may send you the international version if you are lucky but the majoritynot.
Global / International version:
No bloatware, chinese apps..
Multilanguage ( all languages available)
Stock apps optimized for International use (Weather....)
seems to be smoother and faster than the chinese version.

FlashFire app from playstore
Flyme 6.1.0.0G _Global_Stable_Pro 6 Plus for Flashfire

Instructions:
Its recomnended to back up your data (Titanium backup, your fotos etc)in case of disaster.
Update to a newer version:
Copy the new version to Internal storage
Open Flashfire, click on the + button and choose Flash Zip / OTA
Select the Downloaded ROM from the file explorer and select Mount system read write.
Now you will see a screen with all the actions that will be done, select the action called Reboot and un-thick the option Preserve recovery, leave Normal selected.
Finally click on FLASH and wait until the process ends.
Enjoy...
Note: In case of any problems and you want a clean installation, add the wipe action from the + button before flashing. But it should not be needed.
Note: it seems to be a problem with supersu if you don't wipe data before update. so to avoid problems, you should wipe before flash.
If you want to keep your apps and data, you should make a data (data partition only) backup from flashfire before updating. then wipe and update, follow instructions to root and to have super su. After that you can use flshfire to restore data backup (only data partition) .
also you can use kingroot but its not compatible with flashfire.
If you already updated, you can use titanium backup(give root permision from system root in settings, security root permissions)make a backup of your apps and then follow the guide below How to go back to stock chinese ROM in case of disaster, after that follow the instruction of new installation and when you have the that done, you can rstore your apps with titanium backup.

First Time Installation:
Root:
Go to Meizu page and create and account. Enter a valid email as its needed to activate the account. if you already have an account, just skip this step.
Now go to Settings on your device and Select Meizu account, Log in with your new created account.
Go back and select Fingerprint & security , then select Root permission, scroll down and confirm. The device will reboot. Now its rooted but i recommend installing supersu because the built int root some times has failed for me.
Install SuperSu from playstore, open it and select Update su binary, choose Normal. wait until it finishes and reboot.
Now you have Root
Note: if you dont have Google Playstore, open meizu app store and search for supersu.
Install ROM:
Root your device
Install Flashfire from Playstore
Download This modified Flyme 6.1.0.0G _Global_Stable_Pro 6 Plus for Flashfire
[*]Copy the downloaded ROM to Internal storage
[*]Open Flashfire, give root permissions and click on the + button,
[*]Select Wipe and then ok
[*]Click again on the + button and choose Flash Zip / OTA

You can Install gapps from flashfire along with the rom, just select Flash zip/ota and select Gapps zip, this way it will be installed after rom. Or you can use Google Installer which you can find in meizu appstore after reboot.

How to go back to stock chinese ROM in case of disaster:

Hold Volume + button and power button at the same time until the phone vibrates. it will enter recovery mode.
Connect your device to your PC by usb, you will have access to a folder named Recovery. Copy the update.zip to this folder and wait for it to finish.
Go back to the device and select the options Upgrade System and Clear data.
Hit Start and wait until it finishes.

In the future when I want to perform an update, do I need to go through FlashFire in order for it to work correctly on a Chinese version of the device? Also, where do you download the "G" versions of the beta firmware? I know their next release is a stable version and I know it comes out after the A version; just wondering where you go to download it. Cheers!

For future update you can download the stable from http://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=46&type=1. Or the betas from flyme forum. You will have to edit the installation script to be able to flash through flashfire and don't get error and avoid firmware problems. Anyway i will upload the future updates modified for flashfire.

Thanks!!! I tried looking through the zip file to see what you changed, but didn't know which file to go into. I assume it's not as easy as opening up a file in notepad and changing some data on there.

@bihariel Hey I have a question for you. Have you ever experienced a sudden change in battery life out of nowhere? When I first installed this firmware, the battery was perfect. All of a sudden after charging my phone, the battery is draining at an unprecedented rate especially on standby. I charged the phone to 100%, disabled all notification/wifi/cellular network and left it on overnight to activate the battery calibration. The problem still exists however. It's draining about 1% every 2 minutes on standby which is ridiculous.
I'm just wondering if you ever encountered this issue before.

You can but you have to modify the script to avoid firmware files and recovery.img to be flashed, which would end in an installation abort,

Not really, the battery is surprising me on this ROM. Maybe you sould use a battery monitoring app and see whats draining it. If not, do a factory reset and see if it still prsists.

I have successfully installed the beta with flashfire and it's all ok!
Some people say flashfy is not a very safe method, what do you think? I'm not an expert.
However, I did not go to the flymex account synchronization, now I've installed the closed beta apps yesterday and it works perfectly well!
We wait for the stable then!
Can you explain how you modified the update for the future? Thanks so much.
Are Alternative Methods to Flashfire? Type ADB?
In Italy a seller on his blog posted this guide, but I could not install it:
"The tutorial for installing firmware G in the Asian Meizu Pro 6 Plus smartphone is really very simple and does not require solid modding basics, you just have to be careful about installing ADB drivers correctly.
Load the battery completely before you begin the procedure and save all your important data
On your PC or on a Cloud as you will need to make the full factory reset.
Prerequisites Preinstalling Firmware G in Meizu Pro 6 Plus:
1-Smartphone fully charged
2-Any antivirus and / or firewalls disabled
3-Driver ADB properly installed, restart your PC after installation!
4-Enabled Root permissions through Flyme account (Fingerprint and Security Menu)
5-USB Debug Mode Enabled in Developer Options (Accessibility Menu)
G Firmware Installation in Meizu Pro 6 Plus:
Decompress the Meizu_Pro6plus_Flyme 5.2.7.0G.zip archive and copy it to the root folder
Of Meizu Pro 6 Plus the file system-i.img
Decompress the archive adb_tool.zip and in the folder obtained we select the file
Cmd.exe to open the command window
Write in the command window:

We give Send and permission to ADB through the pop-up that will appear on the Meizu Pro 6 Plus display
We will read in the shell @ Pro6Plus command window
WARNING: If the pop-up display does not appear, ADB drivers have not been installed correctly!

We give Send and permission of ADB SHELL root permissions through
The pop-up that will appear on the Meizu Pro 6 Plus display
We will read in the command window the symbol #
WARNING: If the pop-up display does not appear, root permissions are disabled!
Write in the command window:

We give Enter, we will see the cursor blink, we do not touch anything until the flash procedure
The system will not be completed and the screenshot message below will appear

I read in some chinese forum that we cant downgrade but...
Download the ROM 5.2.7.0G, open the zip and editthis file \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script
You can use this picture as a guide, delete the red lines:

In Italy a seller on his blog posted this guide, but I could not install it:
"The tutorial for installing firmware G in the Asian Meizu Pro 6 Plus smartphone is really very simple and does not require solid modding basics, you just have to be careful about installing ADB drivers correctly.
Load the battery completely before you begin the procedure and save all your important data
On your PC or on a Cloud as you will need to make the full factory reset.
Prerequisites Preinstalling Firmware G in Meizu Pro 6 Plus:
1-Smartphone fully charged
2-Any antivirus and / or firewalls disabled
3-Driver ADB properly installed, restart your PC after installation!
4-Enabled Root permissions through Flyme account (Fingerprint and Security Menu)
5-USB Debug Mode Enabled in Developer Options (Accessibility Menu)
G Firmware Installation in Meizu Pro 6 Plus:
Decompress the Meizu_Pro6plus_Flyme 5.2.7.0G.zip archive and copy it to the root folder
Of Meizu Pro 6 Plus the file system-i.img
Decompress the archive adb_tool.zip and in the folder obtained we select the file
Cmd.exe to open the command window
Write in the command window:
Adb shell
We give Send and permission to ADB through the pop-up that will appear on the Meizu Pro 6 Plus display
We will read in the shell @ Pro6Plus command window
WARNING: If the pop-up display does not appear, ADB drivers have not been installed correctly!
Write in the command window:
su
We give Send and permission of ADB SHELL root permissions through
The pop-up that will appear on the Meizu Pro 6 Plus display
We will read in the command window the symbol #
WARNING: If the pop-up display does not appear, root permissions are disabled!
Write in the command window:
Dd if = / sdcard / system-i.img of / dev / block / platform / 155a0000.ufs / by-name / system
We give Enter, we will see the cursor blink, we do not touch anything until the flash procedure
The system will not be completed and the screenshot message below will appear
Meizu pro 6 plus 01
Disconnect the usb cable from the Meizu Pro 6 Plus and restart it by holding down the button
Power for a few seconds, the startup process will take a few minutes, do not alarm and we start booting.
When the terminal is started we go in
Settings> About phone> Storage> Factory data reset>
We see Factory reset and Format internal storage>
Select START RESET"

I can tell you that for now the safest method is flashfire because it install the ROM in same way that the Recovery does, that is: it wipes the system partition and installs the ROM with correct permissions.
The method you mention is more risky( to get a bootloop) because it overwrites the ROM files directly over the System partition with the OS still running on phone. This drives into a system hang freeze. of course you have to turn it of by holding power button until it restarts. Then you have to go recovery and do a factory reset if you get bootloop.
I tried this method before Flasfire but it gave me bootloop so then i used Flashfire because it do the same job that Recovery does.
About the modifications, its really simple. Just open \META-INF\com\google\androidupdater-script and delete all the lines in red in this picture (these lines check if your phone is Chinese version or global and update the firmware files.)
Also you can delete the files related to those lines just for safety (boot.img, recovery.img, logo.bin, ldfw, bootloader..)

Salam,
The camera bug is weird, i don't have that bug, i open the camera ( front and back) many times and it works perfectly, maybe you changed something in camera setting ( erasing camera app data should help)
Anyway, the script is exactly the same as mine, its just you are using and editor with Arabic orientation.
Just use the app Notepad++( google it) and open it in English lang.
If not, just upload the script for me and i will edit it.

Having tinkered with well over a dozen similar tools over the past couple of years....I can only say.....Kudos to all involved in this project! It is very well crafted indeed and covers a very respectable gamut of tools while managing to be quite expeditious throughout the process. Most importantly...it works like a Swiss watch....precisely and reliably. Are there other things it could do?...Well...that's like asking a muscle car owner if there are any other bolt-ons his car could accomodate....right?

Question though.... so basically I can flash and tweak phones with what chip support? I missed it. Qualcomm (obviously because of Samsung) but MediaTek too? Also, how difficult would it be to port this to a Linux OS, if I used something like CrossOver or Wine or similar?

If you put the file in bl, it will be writed
Odin software write it to the device based on the kernel name or file system in the tar file.So it's not important to put in either ap or in bl
You can use this method for any processor or brand.Only your device must accept custom binary.(boot.img RvSecurity)
For the Linux version, I try to write the next version

Well first things first.. i have no idea for what are 90% of options there BUT i somehow know it is CORE app now to unlock galaxy s7 edge.. but now the part where i need to ask anybody to lead me step by step (TOTALLY) how can i (and if i can) install custom recovery using this tool? Problem with my device is my volume buttons are totally non functional this is why i never was able to switch from Odin mode to recovery instantly by buttons combination (in result - always locked device and had to flash stock rom). I am on Stock Android 8.0 for S7 Edge G935F. Sorry for typing like a noob (a actually rooted/unlocked a lot of devices sometimes spending a lot of time on it but without volume buttons I am in dead point) PS. Last time i had to make 300kOhm device to get my phone into download mode so I am able to get into download but i am not able to use volume keys. And again thanks for any tips/tutorials etc

Well for me worked out flashing TWRP(in twrp turn off auto reboot) and i was able to turn off phone by myself by unplugging the battery (yea unplug when in download mode after flashing TWRP then flash back into download mode (i used USB JIG made by myself) and then through twrp i flashed eng-root with autoreboot and it flashed directly to the twrp BUT i dont know if this will work also for you keep that in mind

*** If you will get some errors with the LeEco Account when you are in Setup Wizard , you will just need to reboot device OR you can setup the device without the Data and Wi-Fi enabled .
How to install :
1. You need to have the bootloader unlocked , and the TWRP installed . ( How to do that : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76620374&postcount=7 )
**After unlocking the bootloader , you get a green notification led and the phone not turning on , when you try to boot your phone .
[ THE SOLUTION IS : Boot into TWRP ( volume up and power button ) and from TWRP , tap on Reboot --> System , this will boot the phone normally , currently we can do nothing to solve this :crying: ]
Note : If you come from another ROM , you will need to do a wipe on system , data , cache .
Also please take a backup of all your files :good:
2. Download the 21S Firmware & Modem by @moto999999 : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=674106145207488760
Note : The LTE B20 band is not working , you can NOT use the EUI6 modem or the " Super modem from EUI 5.9.020S " to get it working. The B20 will appear , but in calls you will not hear nothing , and you will not be heard by anyone
3. Download the ROM ( form the link above )
4. Boot your phone in TWRP ( from power off state , hold volume up and power button , until TWRP appears )
Now from there :
( If the TWRP is promping " Data Encrypted " then : )
--> Tick "do not show again" and the swipe to allow modification. ( if promting )
--> Skip device encryption by clicking "Install" (if the storage size is 0mb or no folder is showing while trying to install, then the device is encrypted. )
--> For solve that, click "Wipe" --> choose to " Format Data " and type " yes " and swipe to format . It's going to wipe EVERYTHING in the internal storage (that's the purpose of device encryption, to prevent unauthorized access to the storage).
--> When completed, go back, click "Reboot" --> "Recovery" , this will restart your recovery (very important, do not reboot the phone into system otherwise you'll start all over. Reboot into recovery, not system).
5. Copy the ROM and the Firmware & Modem from your PC to your phone internal storage
6. Now in TWRP , tap on " Install " , and locate the Firmware_&_Modem_x10.zip and flash it.
7. After flash the ROM.
8. Now you can root with Magisk !
9. Flash LKT and Sysconfig Patcher via TWRP ( if don't work , try via Magisk Manager )

I has installed .In frist star , When it reaches the leeco account it freezes and we need to restart to finish configuring.
Once started, it looks like a 28s and it is very fluid. When you install exposed, when restarting, the error message appears in Launcher 3 and nothing is left to do.Idon't try to install other Launcher before install exposed...

As for Xposed Module I really don't know what to say, have you tried another version of Xposed ?

Frist time i install the EUI6& firmware&modem and don't work but i solve the problem reinstalling the modem 21S_Firmware_&_Modem_x10.
Now everything is fine

I tried to install the eui6 firmware&modem again but it doesn't work, I reinstalled the 21sfirmware&modem and it works perfectly!
I would like to have the eui6 firmware&modem, I need the b20lte.

- Fully Unlocked Device ( Bootloader AND FRP )

Before Flashing this rom !!!
We need to Modifiy the updater script
if you are on stock rom this shouldn't be a problem ( didn't test it ) but anyways , if we flash it right away there is a good chance to get an ERROR 7 Device not compatible or something on these lines , What we have to do is the remove the Assert checking on the updater-script :
-Please Check all the requirments and steps before executing this step , what we are doing is removing device verification and the zip will install no matter what on ANY Device which Can Result on a Hardbrick!
1/ Open The downloaded zip and navigate to Meta-INF/COM/google/android/updater-script
DO NOT OPEN IT USING NOTEPAD , Instead Use NotePad ++ Or some other text editing tool that does not change space Encoding
2/ After that you should see on first line "assert(get prop .....);" Remove all this line till the semi colon and save the file
3/ Copy rom to SD card !
4/ Reboot to recovery , Wipe Data / dalvik / cache
5/ Flash this rom and it should boot up flawlessly
6/ After rom Boots up , Go to setting / Developer options / Default USB configuration and chose file transfer so that your device would be recognized by your PC and other media hubs

Here (ARM-64 Version 9.0 ) Pico is recommended : Google APPS

Not necessarily , as far as my experience this rom is as stable as the one provided by openkirin, i have to admit that i did not test their omnirom enough to judge .

I found this ROM to be much more stable and usable than the latest OmniROM from OpenKirin. I installed the Stock variant of OpenGApps and it ran flawlessly, even the Pixel Launcher. Nice work!
