I bought xiaomi redmi 2A on ebay, this model :

I have only english and chineese language and i would like to change to french language. I wanted to change the language and followed one tutorial on the website xiaomi-france.com .
But the process has failed and after some research i found that i have a unknow model of redmi 2A which is 2014502.
I dont know this model and update with the update software on miui doesn't work, and i dont know if i can change the rom / install twrp or something without brick the phone...
Someone have information about that ? Any help is welcome, thanks

after some search i read that you cannot use the same rom of redmi 2/pro to your phone, because they have different chipset, maybe with some deep search you can find the files for your phone

I can give you link, but fingerprint don't working, but system working fine(7.1.2)

Have you link for Zc551kl Rom ? Zc551kl has very problem. I use 6.0.1 stock rom. Nougat firmware has a lot of problems.

If you look at flash_all script from fastboot rom, there is two code name carbon and nitrogen in device check. Mine is 4gb 64gb with official china rom imported from china, code name nitrogen. So mi max 3 global edition is different from china or is it 6gb 128gb version of mi max 3? What is your mi max 3's code name? nitrogen or carbon?

Max 3 is nitrogen
They are all "gases". Do not think another variant (if have of Max 3) will be Carbon (which is "Solid")

They are all chemical elements, do not have to be gases...
It might have something to do with the canceled MI MAX 3 pro. It was mentioned in some file before the MAX 3 was released.
I got the phone in it`s original box with the original screen protector stating "Mi Max 3".
Cannot flash any nitro firmware in it (tried fastboot and qualcomm 9008) coz it says it`s carbon.
Actually 9008 flash was ok until system.img then I received an error and the phone got stuck in fastboot .

If you type "fastboot getvar product" at the command line, what is the result?
Try to rename the "new mi max" folder to something else without spaces, also the rom path is too long, try to rename some folders like "nitrogen_images_8.9.20..." and give shorter names.
It's annoying to hear Distorted audio (sup purr like sound coming) on max volume.
On most of the Custom ROMs this problem is found.
I have checked in almost every custom rom on max pro m1 every where problem persists.( Except rom Recursion remix and stock).
I am creating this thread for your reviews and solutions.

I didn't test it but ppl reported it working, and I don't have a link.
i want onplus dialer and messages apps for my asus zenfone max pro m1.
i went to this link https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...-0-180110161857-415347e-android-apk-download/
and downloaded the both applications but there installing and not opening and force closing or not supported.,
if anyone knows how to use them without root.,

this app only support upto android 7.1
Try 4.4.0 it support android 8.1
