Hello.
As i was always frustrated battery life in my G4, some time ago i found a way to improve battery life about 30%.
Some time ago i borrowed my fast charger 2A to my sister, then i used old Sony 850ma charger to my G4, after whole night iv'e started to use my phone, i didn't know it will the longest day with 4,5h SOT, and 15% battery left on my G4, iv'e charged it again on this old sony charger, and same, good life battery, after 3 days i used my normal 2A charger, effect? Battery drain horrible, just % down and down, 3h sot, battery is empty. So for me, charging with less amperage, slow charing gives much better battery life. Check it guys and let know how it works for you

And charging with the regular g4 charger?

No no, sense is, faster charge = lower battery life, longer charge with less amperage = longer battery life.
I checked it with original G5 charger and samsung 2A charger, fast charge = worse battery life.

The original charger is 1.8A tho. But I'll give it a try despite the fact it makes no sense whatsoever xD
It have much sense, i saw somewhere article about batteries and that's true that slower charging is like "deeper charing" anything it mean.
I feel big difference, as im using G4 for one year and I really was frustrated it drain very fast, and now it looks as it should. Check today:

30 min calls, 1:20sot (youtube, browser, tapatalk, messenger and facebook) and still 80%. Before it was impossible to get result like this.

@Ganjax,I have a 850ma charger from my Razr XT910 and I'll try this...
Can you tell me how long it will take to charge this battery with it? From, let's say 15%-20% to 100%?
not sure about battery technologiy right now. but it makes sense. when i used to fly rc helicopters with lipo batteries. slow charge would make battery life last longer, then using fast charge. in some cases fast charge would heat battery.
it seems like it holds charge better.

Really not so long, 3-4h and dont forget to connect phone when it have 15% battery left, not less, it's best for battery condition.

Check this out, 1h spotify, 1h calling, fb, messenger, always mobile data on and ~3h sot and STILL 40% battery! It's incredible for me.

yep. Used to do the same thing with my g2. Would get an extra 1hr or so SOT. Find the same with the G4. Even with my super cheap extended battery.

yeah i beleive so that lipos should not dye on you best thing is to recharge at 20%, its been a long time since i used lipos. but if i remember right . its cause it isnt like the nicd or nmh. lipos dont have memory. so if you go below at certain voltage it makes battery shorter life..
when you have a car battery that isnt doing okey you take it to a slow charge that takes a whole day to recharge they dont use fast charge.. so slow its always better.
When i charge with my fast charger 2.0 the batterie last less, that´s a fact !
I will try with a slower charger to see the difference.
What´s the amperage ?
I do not care about chargers. I charge anytime anywhre with any charger . my phone stay with 100% battery after 3 hours of beibg unplug from charger. I make phone calls etc and still 100 % after long time boing unplug feom charge.
Is true is very true . my friends alllways want their phone to do same .
The secret? No secret ,i m just using slim 6 rom .

If you really want to improve battery life...
I've been running this 8500mah battery (google zerolemon g4 battery) for over a year now... Get 3+ days out of it still... I have noticed that since the H81120Q OTA update it's gone down some (used to get 4-5 days on a charge), not sure if that's because of the battery age or the update. I'm running stock firmware. Only complaint I've have is that the buttons on the back can be a little tricky to feel the difference of without turning it over...
That's actually true. I have some old LG adapter with 0.8A and after charging it like this I get like 5 or 6hrs of SOT. With Samsung fast charger I get only up to 4.5h. Don't use fast charger if you don't really need it. It should only be used if case of emergency like you run out of battery but you need it to last 2 more hours and you don't have much time to let it charge. Then in the evening recharge it with weaker charger

is there a way to reduce voltage on stock charger.? an app a terminal command.? if so what would be an ideal setting?

Yes, but it's kernel job, if kernel support voltage ac control. On LG G2 dev Dorimanx implemented this, on G4 i think nobody. It's stweaks scripts.

No quick charge after upgrading to miui 11, Anu one else have this issue?

Happened to me too. Phone is charging at max 1600mA
Try offline charging see if it is charging fast. I too have miui 11 but no issue with charging..
me too experiencing same issue
tried to offline charging - no success
For me It's ok but the icon in notification bar changed.
Problem solved it was both new cabels which I have used after upgrading to miui11

I have Xiaomi 20w wireless charges and Samsung dual
charger 12w. What charging speed I will achieve on OnePlus 8 pro? Can I expect more than 5w on any wireless charger other than genuine OnePlus wireless charger from Oppo?
I'm curious too as I'm thinking of buying a car charger which OnePlus sadly doesn't sell. Would be nice to have more than 5W output. 10W preferably 15W. I would assume anything over that needs cooling.
Edit: this seems to indicate that the Qi standard is supported.
I presently use the Xiaomi 20W charger and get around 8-10W...
Good enough. Currently I have Pixel 4 xl which is far better than any Oneplus device but I cannot deal whit no ultra wide lens and extremely slow wireless charging on any other charger than Pixel stand. My Pixel is charging at 2.5W (!) wirelessly which is absolutely ridiculous deal breaker. I consider buy Oneplus 8 pro but still not sure about this decision. It's amazing on Pixel that I don't have to install imperfect custom rom and Gcams mod in semi working condition. It's extreme hard choice for me...
On 10w xiai charger can I get this value? Or charge 5w?

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Realme 7 Pro can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
15mins -50 %
35mins -100%
Realme 7 pro
it charges superfast
I never saw biggest charger ! But 65w doing amazing job and I need only few minutes charging to use phone.
Phone isn't very much hot during charging.

***** (5 stars as far as charging speed is concerned).
Moreover the phone and the charger maintains good thermals throughout the charging process, which is very good!
Charges super duper fast.
Insanely fast but it got warm while charging
Remarkably fast charging, as stated: 15 min for 50%, 34min for 100%.
