So, when I flash xposed from this link https://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk24/arm64/
It takes a long time to reboot like it's supposed to, but then when I look in my app drawer there is no xposed installer.
Can someone direct me to the correct file to flash on my phone?
Thanks.

Flashing xposed doesn't automatically install xposed app. Go to original thread and grab apk

Hello,
First I am having to post here because I can't POST in the actual forum at this time. Can someone tell me why I am unable to install some factory and nonfactory apps in custom ROM builds? If this has to do with ODEX and DEODEX can someone tell me how to see if an app is OD or DEOD? Is it possible in a simple way to DEOD an app? Thanks, as I am hoping to get QuickTranslator working in Malladus.

it's not that easy
- you can't install them because they are odexed
- if the apk contains a classes.dex file it's deodexed and you can install it
- you can deodex them with some tools and the stock rom framework (use google)
- most apps won't work on custom roms because they have special dependencies and stuff...

Malladus has on his list of downloads where you got the Rom from is a file called LG Apps, you would flash this as then get all the LG Apps that have been removed. If you want only LG Quick Translator which by the way is in the file or any other LG App in the zip file, open the zip file in say 7Zip and go to System / App and then delete each program you do not want to install. Place the remaining zip file on your phone and flash from recovery. Easy and done.
hey.
can i extract this apk from one of the roms here-like the omega rom that has this feature, and install it in a stock rom 4.4.2?
or i just have to install the rom from scratch.
i thought on rooting this phone, use root uninstall app, remove the stock messages app,and then install the extracted apk with the no conversion feature.
what do you say-will it work?
thanks.

If you have rooted your phone..
Then just download wanam xposed from the play store
When you download wanam.xposed, it will automatically ask you to download xposed installer
When youre done installing both..open xposed installer..go in framework..and press install..
Youre done..now you can use wanam xposed freely

I made an error, it's not a zip file.
It's an APK which you install.
You don't need recovery to install it.

Seems pure nexus had some weird bug going to the latest version from the one before it, had to clean flash :/ instead of usual upgrade route to fix it.
--------------------- ORIGINAL POST
running purenexus and my google keyboard app seemingly won't uninstall. It was installed to system first, I updated my ROM to latest version and then updated the keyboard app and then it began crashing when selecting settings. uninstalled it and deleted from app and app priv folders.. and when i reinstall i get the error in the pic attached.
i just want my google keyboard back lol i don't like using flesky. thanks! image for reference below...

Hey... I don't know how to get your Gboard back... I've read about it FC with 03-17 PureNexus release. Not sure it was in the N6P or Pixel XL forum.
If you want, I have a temporary fix for you. I guess you know about "Them Ready Gapps"?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/apps-themeable-hangouts-layers-cmte-t3113192
This is a link for their last zip: http://teamblackedout.com/Gapps/GoogleApps-ThemeReady-arm64-LP-MM-N-v31.0-Aroma.zip
Install in TWRP with aroma installer. Once launched, select only gboard. It should put the app back in the proper place. Once installed, you can go to the playstore and update it normally if you wish...
Good luck... :good:

From the mod control app when you download that app it propts
you to install the mod installer app from Google play but it was discontinued and taken down
So I figured someone would have it

Quick tools vanishes after a restore of a backup.
Seems to be an issue on the V20 I have noticed. All true real issues- if any, appear after a restore instead if the usual standard reboot. Basically a way longer required test. Happens on other occasions as well is why I mention this.
