Root access was removed after flashing new ROM.

I have installed marshmallow ROMs and everytime I completed my root access was not recognized. The thing is I can't restore my backup from Titanium Backup if my root access was removed. Do you guys have any idea why this thing happen? See picture attachment for screenshot. TIA. ?
If you at running cm13, root access can be found under development options.
Yes, Official CM13 roms have root disabled by default. You will have to activate it manually from the developer options. An alternative is to flash SuperSU.zip.
SuperSU works better than the built-in CM root manager; For me at least.

Both of these roms are pre-rooted. They both come with SuperSU installed.

I believe some custom roms require flashing that, but I just rooted and installed twrp.
If flashing SupermanRom, then you need to install no_verity_opt_encrypt before flashing ROM.

Not really. It was just required for kernels with non disabled encryption but eventually it was integrated into SuperSU and now with sources we have non encrypted kernels. And why before flashing the rom?

You don't need it anymore, as we have kernel sources and You can download any rom and it will be working without encryption.

If it's not a custom rom then yes you will need to flash no verity zip unless you plan to root in which you can flash supersu which includes no verity.

At the moment about the rooting, is not such thing on Nougat...
Solution are installing over the stock firmware, some custom firmware (Revolution OS, Revolution ROM, Elite Kernel), already with root enabled...

Install this TWRP and the SuperSU provided in the first post

This is simply untrue and false. I can think of at least 3 methods to root Nougat, even with the stock kernel: MagiskSU, phhSuperuser and SuperSU.

About that 'rooting' i mean like on MM: unlock bootloader, install twrp, root and that is...
About rest, Revolution OS use phhSuperuser and Elite Kernel use or MagiskSU or phhSuperuser...
For me is more simple on Nougat, unlock bootloader+install Revolution Recovery+Revolution OS and that is...
And bonus, Revolution OS have some optimisations and tricks...

It's exactly like MM. Unlock BL, flash TWRP, flash Magisk zip and done, you're rooted. Or even simpler, without needing TWRP, just install phh Superuser from the Play Store and done, you're rooted.

Hello!
I'm currently using pixel experience with predator kernel and magisk v23.
Today i installed an update to the rom but i noticed that not only i lost my root acess but it also reset to the default rom's kernel.
Is there any way to update it and stick with my kernel and root?
Thanks everyone

Update rom, kernel and then magisk in recovery without wipe something, then reboot. You flash only the rom over OTA.
