Stock ROM for my P9 Lite

Hello there,
I have a P9 Lite VNS-L31 with build VNS-L31C432B160, EMEUI 4.1.1, Android 6.0.
For some reasons, the update menu tells me that there is no update for my phone.
I know this is not true because I can see people on the same P9 Lite with EMUI 5.x, so my question is the following, is there a way to find and flash the latest stock ROM available for my phone ?
(I used to have Samsung mobiles and look at samfirmwares websites to find my stock ROMs)
Cheers
Anyone ?

Your starting version was VNS-L31C432B160 ?
Have you tried Firmware Finder from the Play store?

Nope, I switched to this version to enable dual sim on my single sim phone.
But I don't need dual SIM anymore, and just would like to have the latest official version available.

I want to install android 8 in huawei p10 lite but i cant i dont know why?

Good morning,
I have a Huawei p10 lite (WAS-LX1A) bought in Portugal. It is locked to my carrier (Vodafone).
My current model number is WAS-LX1AC02B139, and i know that the model number of this phone when unlocked is WAS-LX1AC432B...
I saw some videos in youtube and i noticed that there is android 8.0 beta version for this phone. But when i install Huawei beta app and i search for new projects, the app says that there are no project available. I tried to install firmware finder and I added the version WAS-LX1AC432 and it says that the software is not approved to my phone.
I am thinking that if i unlock my phone from my carrier, the software will be aproved and i will be able to install android 8.0.
Is my idea correct? Should i unlock my phone to be able to have WAS-LX1AC432B... and then install android 8.0.
If i am correct how do i do that? Should i just put the ''normal'' version of huawei p10 lite and it will work or should i do something else?
if my ideia is incorrect please tell me a solution.
Thank you
You must rebrand your phone to C432

Honor 8 lite with an unusual model number PRA-LX1

Hi, I've been a user of my Honor 8 lite since Christmas last year, and, being the techsavvy type, I wanted to root it. So, I went into my device details and searched for the device model, coming up with the string PRA-LX1. I searched on Google for a rooting method, using this string I found, and it came up with rooting methods for the Huawei P8 lite, rather than the Honor 8 lite. I do know that they are literally the same phone, just with different brandings, however, I'm VERY sure that all other Honor 8 lites online haven't had the same model string as my phone has. I'd like an explanation for this, and also I'd like to know which rooting tutorials I should use, and so on.

Alright, thanks, but in that case, is it fine to just use any methods referring to my model, or ones referring to my device name? Don't wanna go bricking my device so early in its life cycle.

If there's method for your device name ,then go for it. But it don't think there s difference between methods

Just remember NOT TO CHANGE REGION AND FLASH PRA-AL00/PRA-TL10 firmware to your PRA-LX1 phone, in some cases it will bricked.
There is no free solution for reviving Honor device from bricked, yet.
Just be careful and make sure to use firmware for your device own model only.

yes, but maybe it works or not, because now Huawei no longer gives the unlocking code but a file. exe of the teammet that maybe take it out , but if there is, why do you want to go down to a nougat? yes oreo is already official. and the version that is official 0.8.0.0. 342 ,
I suddenly got very low performance. Animations are slow and all apps are loading with a lag. Dunno why.
I've already cleared the cache.

Yes. Connect your phone on HiSuite. There you can find an option to downgrade your phone from Android Oreo to Android Nougat.
