I have problem to launch com.oneplus.factorymode.specialtest app via oneplus stock dialer by *#801#.
What should I check or do for resolving this problem?
My OP5 status are flahed xXx Nolimit 3.1 on my OP5.
And I applied several magisk moules like busybox for ndk, HEVC for video recording, call recording enabler, pixel 2 wifi, viper4androidfx and qualcomm wifi bonding.
By any chance, is there something that can be affected to this issue?
Any idea will be welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am moving from MI, so i have some question:
1. Which call recording app is working perfectly with our phone as i have tried few but they failed.
2. Up/down link data notification in status bar.?
1. I've tried most of the apps from play store but no luck. I've heard BoldBeast recorder works but haven't tried that.
2. No way to get that in stock ROM as far as I know. You could try GravityBox (if you're rooted and have Xposed installed)
Sent from my Moto G4 Plus using Tapatalk
1. Not possible without root. Boldbeast will work after root.
2. Use Internet Speed Meter Pro. Search in google for apk
Well I use automatic call recorder which works perfectly fine for me....only problem is the voice of the connected person is very low and our voice is recorded through out microphone.
Though i haven't experimented other option in the app.
Let me know your views if you get successfully in getting the recording from the line with this or any other app.
With root the best in my opinion is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441643
I was having issues with stock Nougat rebooting, crashing and not being able to pass the SafetyNet. I was using three modules on Xposed. I was using YouTube adaway, gravitybox and YouTube background playback.
Once I uninstalled the modules and uninstalled Xposed..... The stock Nougat was running fast and smooth. I didn't know how much Xposed was affecting the ROMs performance.
Has anyone expience the same issue with Xposed on stock Nougat?

I agree big time unfortunately. I had those three (and others) modules installed and it would reboot at least once a day. I found out that Youtube Background Playback was crashing Youtube at startup so I removed it completely. Also, I've found that the only version of Xposed that doesn't cause the crashes is 89.1. So I've remained steady there, despite the newest being 89.3 (I haven't tried 90 yet). Hope this helps.

Since I wasn't using many modules I found a YouTube replacement and I can live without Gravitybox. I am using YouTube Vanced for rooted device and it's does the same thing no ads and background playback.
I was using version 89, but don't remember if it had .3. I used the installer to pick the latest one. All I know is that the ROM has improved in performance. I like the mods from Gravitybox, but I don't want to sacrifice performance.
YouTube was crashing at start up, but it was version 2.04. There is a 2.05 version, but you have to get it from the repo source, because it's not on the XDA thread. Once I installed version 2.05 YouTube was not crashing.
Besides not rebooting, Do you think you are loosing some performance on 89.3? Is there a way to pass the SafetyNet with Xposed?

I used this previously and stopped. It was slow to catch up with official youtube updates, and honestly, didn't work correctly. That was ~6 months ago, so maybe it's better now?

If you used Magisk to install Xposed, it was likely 89.3. I agree that GravityBox is awesome, but does seem to suck speed and battery. I feel the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

No of course not. Was passing SafetyNet good for anything other than NFC Pay apps? If not, the G4 doesn't have NFC so it doesn't matter!
Help plz!
The Skype app doesn't start the video at all. The receiver sees a blank screen! On the latest build and latest Skype App!
Both the cameras are working fine independently.
But on Skype, it just won't work.
Here's what I have done so far to make it work:
1. Check the App permissions
2. (Within Skype app) Default Camera under Audio/Video settings
3. Camera Settings - Check which app will use this service
Am I missing something?
Thanks a ton!
Hi!
I'm using a Philips Hue Kit with Hue Stream App for enjoy ambilight effects with my Nvidia Shield TV.
But I have a problem with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other stream services (screenshot protectión, of course).
Is there any solution for avoid this? The App can not read the screen information, so the lights doesn't work.
I tried some app called "Xposed’s DisableSecureFlag", but I can't make it works and I'm not very convinced about that app.
Thanks!
there's a magisk module called "liboemcrypto disabler" if you are a magisk user.

Pfff I'm not planning on rooting my shield only for the lamps. any other solution found?
I am lifting this thread once more - did it work with the magisk module called "liboemcrypto disabler"? I would love to give it a try. But some positive feedback would be a good motivation

right now I'm also facing this same issue
but I found these
the built-in option is hidden because of CSC in some regions samsung locks this feature
to solve this problem as per my knowledge you have to change CSC and its possible only by rooting your device
Android 10 officially blocked third party call recording apps and also they removed their API so I'm thinking downgrade my device will solve this solution
I have a SAMSUNG A50 (2019) just upgraded to Android 11 (April 2021).
I have tried many many apps, with all the permissions. The phone only records BLANK audios. It happened with Android 10 and now with Android 11 (could record with 3rd party call recording apps when I had Android 9 pie).
My phone is not rooted, and there isn't the native config to auto-record in the native phone App.
Is there any solution for this? In my country ITALY it's legal to record calls.
Is there someone really expert to give me a really working solution to record calls without having to root my device?
Many tks
