Hello everyone I hope that when a rom appear with android nougat for our s5 of g900v on android 6.0.1 there is a simpler menera be root, because the truth that I have not wanted to risk for marshmallow as the rom stock me I feel satisfied.
I wonder if any of you have made from marshmallow root and that worked?
Nougat won't be happening for our S5. Since it's a SD801 device, it's not supported in Nougat.

Ok, thanks for the clarification
There's a good chance in my opinion that it will get cm14 when it is released
The S3 will almost almost definitely get CM14, so we should be good.
Is there any Android 7.0 roms for the S7 and does anyone know if the t mobile roms work on the Verizon S7 ?

I have a galaxy J5 prime G570F "on5xelte"
I've been searching for a long time for a ROM that's not a customization of the Samsung "touchwizzy" ROMs.
in particular AOSP, Lineage, RR, .. etc
I couldn't find any of them anywhere
I even tried to learn how to port ROMs and port Lineage 14.1 to my device but I couldn't find The device tree and vendor.
Please help

That's the threads for all the j5 PRIME Roms not j5
Edit: oh sorry there are no custom Roms for j5 yet just tw based ones. What type of CPU is in that device? I'm sure if lineage is ported to a device of the same chipset then a port would be possible

Same as galaxy j3 2017. Try going to the j3 forum and pm one of the devs there. Seeing as it is the same SoC it shouldn't be a big deal

Dr Ketan note5/s6e+ ROM. My 8.1 Oreo port. Both are in the threads here
There isn't really much any documentation or tutorials on how to dualboot in our S7 Edge except people mentioning that they've done it.
I am currently running Lineage 15.1 on my Exynos variant S7 Edge.
