When you click the title above and start to read this article, I guess you may have run into a trouble: Your smart device cannot be powered on? You have to recover the software system after a failed ROM flashing? You want to switch from a third-party system back to Huawei/honor system after a successful ROM flashing?
Don't worry. Huawei/honor provides you with eRecovery that excels at recovering the software system easily and successfully. If you fail to start your device because of a software fault, try eRecovery.
If your device system works, you are not advised to use eRecovery to update the system. At present, eRecovery is only available for some regions and models, and will be available for other regions and device models after some time. Please wait for your surprise.
Support list currently:
Honor 10
HUAWEI P20
HUAWEI P20 Pro
PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI MATE RS
HUAWEI P20 lite
*Note: It’s not supported for USA users and Docoma users in Japan.
Pay attention to the following points before system recovery:
1. If you can enter the main system, please back up your data. All your personal data will be erased after your system recovered if you didn’t meet the following conditions when entered eRecovery system.
(1) The data partition is mounted read-write mode. If the mounting fails and data clearing is required, a prompt will be displayed for you to know.
(2) Your device is locked.
(3) Your device has sufficient space in an internal or external card. If the space is insufficient, your device displays a message indicating that you need to empty the internal card or insert an external card.
2. Ensure that a Wi-Fi hotspot is available (eRecovery supports some authentication modes, such as WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WEP, and open system now).
3. Keep connecting your device to power (A powered-on computer can also provide power).
Now, let's get back to the fixing:
1. There are three ways to start eRecovery:
Method 1: The software system detects a startup failure, and your device automatically enters the eRecovery system;
Method 2: The software system automatically detects a fault (for example, your device uses a third-party system after ROM flashing), but the device can be started and displays a message on the UI. You can press and hold the volume up key for more than 3 seconds to enter the eRecovery system;

Method 3: You can initiate the process of entering the eRecovery system (by pressing and holding the volume up key for more than 5 seconds while your device is connected to power).
2. Tap Download latest version and recovery on the UI to enter the download confirmation UI.
3. Tap Download and recovery and waits for the software system to restart the Wi-Fi system and scan available hotspots.
4. Select an available Wi-Fi hotspot and enter the password for connection.
5. After your device is connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot successfully, the software system automatically obtains and downloads the upgrade package. You don't need to do anything at this stage. The package has a large size and may take some time.
6. After the download is completed, your device automatically installs the upgrade package.
7. After the upgrade is successful, your device automatically counts down and enters the software system. Voila! Your device works now.
After reading this article, you can recover your device no matter what happened to it before. If you think eRecovery is powerful, don't hesitate to share it with your friends.

LG L7 II stuck in Emergency.

Hello.
At the beginning I want to say that English isn’t my primary language and I apologize for mistakes. I hope this text will be understandable.
I have problem with my LG P710 [L7 II].
Few months ago I have tried to upgrade it using LG_KDZ_FW-Update.
I have started to look for the best software for me and after a long time I found software which include root and CWM Recovery… wow.
Instalation wasn’t completed successfuly. From this time I can run my device only in Emergency Mode. No matter if I connect it to the USB, battery charger or just press button to turn it on.

I don’t know I did something wrong, the instruction was bad or maybe soft was demaged.
I have another cell phone so it wasn’t urgent to repair it then, but now I think it’s time to do it!
I hope you can help me with that.
I’m trying to do it this way:
• Download and install drivers [LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.0.3]
• Download and install update tool [LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix]
• Download software [V20A_00.kdz]
(I’m working on Lenovo G510 with Windows 10 installed)
• Change hosts file [C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc] by adding at the end:
127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
• Install B2CApp [setup file is inside LG KDZ FW Uptede Toll folder]
• Then I’m opening Automatic Offline Procedure script.
• Few windows appears on my screen. At this time I have Windows Enabler On and Small Server is running.
• After that script starts R&D test toll, I set Phone Mode [Emergency], select my .kdz file and
press Normal Web upgrade test, then on next window Upgrade Start.
• Afterward I clear Software Update Registry, select my language and press on OK.
• Phone Update window appears. Analysis done, download as well, but update stops at 4%.
According to the instruction I disconnect mobile, remove battery and connect it again with pressing Vol- (In order to enter Emergency Mode I guess. I’m lucky guy, I haven’t to press anything, my phone always turn on into Emergency)
• No change after clicking restart. 4% is everything I can get.

LG G3/G3s/G3 Beat telekom,orange or any other operator

Hi everyone,
I want to show u how to upgade your LG G3s/beat to adroid 7.1.1 lineage OS.
It has taken me some time to find and to gather all needed files but i was succesfull
So I had my lg running on android 5.1 Lollipop but I had problem cause my device was blocked by operator. So first of all we need to
root the device (when u have your device rooted just simply skip this step)
Step 1: rooting the device (working for all devices)
All you need to do is just simply download and install Kingroot -- https://kingroot.net/
then you hit the root button it will take just a while to root your device
note- i really dont like this chinese rooting program but it is the only way to root operator-blocked device !
Step 2: installing custom recovery
download and istall TWRP recovery -- https://ulozto.sk/!lisJevpDG1oS/recovery-d722l-apk
hit the install recovery button
now read CAREFULLY- when you want to enter the recovery turn off the device, when the device is turned off now hit the
volume DOWN and power button at the same time wait for LG logo appears release the press buttons and press them again untill the factory reset option appears, now when you have correctly installed recovery just press YES delete all data (2times)
(move with up and down keys and select with power button)

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step 3: okay now you are in recovery
hit the WIPE button first you need to SWIPE to FACTORY RESET (this will erase all of your data so before doing that backup your data when you want) then hit advaced wipe select all files apart from SD card (unless u want to wipe ur SD card data )
and swipe to wipe
Step 4: installing OS
here is the lineage OS(for model D722 may work for D724 and others ) -- https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224413403 if u have problems to install this ROM try one of these-- https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=142084&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC
copy the OS . zip file to your SD
now hit the istall button in recovery and select OS
now wait untill installing is finished
now hit the reboot button in recovery and select reboot to SYSTEM first booting may take a while
NOW you have OS installed and you are runnning clear OS without any s*it APPS
Step 5: go to --settings and allow developer options, select allow root acess but OOPS what u see. U can only allow root acess
on ADB not apps so u need to root device. Its very simple
Download this root file .zip -- https://ulozto.sk/!rzlO9PPtP5yy/addonsu-arm-signed-zip
now reboot into recovery and install this zip go to setting--developer and now select ADB and APPS root option
and WOALAA you are rooted
NOTE: if you have problems entering the SD card in the file exporer just simply reboot into recovery open file manager in
advanced option in recovery and delete Android secure folder in your SD card
First time when you open the camera hit on the video button and app will force close.This will happen only once dont be afraid.
Now reopen the camera and enjoy!
I am not using any of the google apps (as market i use only Blackmart alpha-low capacity market with all paid apps)

[Guide][STOCK] How download latest fastboot firmware with Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant

This guide show you how to download latest fastboot images from your device from the official servers, using the Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant software.
If you find mistakes or you do not understand sentences, tell me.
Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant (LMSA) allow you to perform various actions on your phone, such as installing the latest update of the manufacturer, perform backups / restores, manage files stored on the phone... But I recommend to do this actions only if your phone runs the official stock ROM.
Another nice feature of LMSA is that you can download and reinstall the official ROM in case of system corruption. To do this, the software downloads the ROM in fastboot version : then you can take it.
Requirements
- Be able to start your phone in fastboot mode.
- Have the phone's USB port functional + a functional USB cable.
- Have a computer running on Windows 7 - 10 (later version need test, if ok let me know)
- Have internet on your computer
Method
0) Download and install if this is not done yet the USB drivers for Moto G5 fastboot mode (https://support.motorola.com/in/en/drivers)
1) Download and install LMSA from Lenovo's website (https://support.lenovo.com/pl/en/downloads/DS101291)
2) Launch LMSA, click on the "Flash" menu at the top left of the window, and click on "Go Rescue" at the bottom right.
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3) Then you will have to select your phone. For the Moto G5, select first at the top "Moto Phone", then below "Moto G5", and then the model of your phone. If you do not know it, watch step 4a. Otherwise, when you plug your phone into fastboot mode, LMSA "should" automatically find the model, but it's safer to choose it manually "just in case".
4) Start/restart your phone in fastboot mode. For the Moto G5, press the start button and at the same time keep pressing the "volume minus" button until you reach the fastboot. If your phone boots to your ROM, repeat this step.
4a) To know the model of your phone, look at the line "Product / Variant" on the fastboot screen, just after "cedric" there should be the model version (XT1670, XT1671, XT1672, XT1675, XT1676 or XT1677).
5) Connect the phone. LMSA should propose you the latest fastboot image available: Just click on the icon next to the image, on the right, to download it.
6) Once the download is complete, a folder containing all the files of the fastboot image is available in the folder :
C:\ProgramData\LMSA\Download\RomFiles (default folder)
Et voilà!
If something wrong
1) Repeat the steps meticulously
2) Be sure to connect the phone only at the end and in fastboot mode
3) Verify that the Motorola USB drivers are correctly installed. To do this, go to the device manager (Press the Windows + R key, write "devmgmt.msc" and press OK). If your screen looks like the first image, the drivers are properly installed.
If your screen looks like the second image, you will need to reinstall the drivers and/or restart your computer.
1) Restart the computer after installing the drivers and LMSA. I already had bug with LMSA that were resolved after a reboot.
1) If it still does not work, please indicate it in the thread. To help you as well as possible, please provide as much information as possible: the version of Windows, the model of your phone, is it root / unblocked, do you use the ROM stock or not, the ROM name...
Note
LMSA automatically decompresses the fastboot image, so if you want to share the image on the internet, it is recommended to re-zip all the files (with 7-Zip for example).

Looks like the application bug, have you tried restarting your computer after installing drivers for fastboot and LMSA? Then, rerun all the procedures and plug your phone into fastboot mode only at the end
it says " Device is not supported" although i have a moto g5 XT 1676 Whit unlock bootloader
LMSA is, IMHO, just a pile of junk. It never detects my phone in the Flash/Upgrade sessions. Apart of that the backup function doesn't work, file manager can only copy files (not folders) and only one at a time afaik.
fastboot and adb alone seemed far more usable to me.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine - Root with Magisk - J737p - J737PVPS2ASA1 - Android 8.0

Credit goes to:
 @☆KØŁØЯΛĐØ☆ providing some of the device files + the original guide for another j737p variant this was modified from + testing/porting aforementioned root method
 @topjohnwu for Magisk as always !!!
The link below is to the thread for the guide to root the j737p J737PVPU1ARG3 variant in which I modified this guide from.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/development/twrp-root-galaxy-j7-refine-8-0-boost-t3916575
------------------------------------------
Download all files needed as well as this guide saved to a .txt document here:
https://www.mediafire.com/download/uckb1mji1r01f9m
------------------------------------------
Read all before just winging it and follow directions with precision !!!
( Run all progams by right click - Run as administrator )
Step 1
Unzip - Odin3_v3.13.1 ( non-patched ).zip + Install the samsung USB drivers via SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe
YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING
- In the Step_1.zip you extracted, load up Odin_v13.1 (non-patched)
- Load only the BL/AP/CP files from your stock firmware into Odin
- As soon as the flashing process ends, you must reboot quickly back into Download Mode. You have to be quick. If you allow the device to begin booting up, it makes the rooting process more difficult.
Step 2
Assuming you followed directions...
- Close Odin_v13.1 & unplug your device while still remaining in Download Mode
- Launch Odin_v13.1 [Patched] & load up the patched_boot.tar in the AP slot
- Reconnect device & proceed to flash
- Device will reboot with "Verification Failure" so you must reset (this is part of root) (it does not activate FRP lock)
( It may get stuck at a soft bootloop on the samsung logo, if it does just hold the power button and volume down until it reboots again then let go. ) ( should not have to repeat this more than once or twice )
- When device reboots to Setup Wizard, skip through it. Do not add any accounts (Google or Samsung). Do not consent to giving any device data for whatever purposes (they will ask twice; look carefully)
- On the home screen, Go to settings - unlock Dev Options & allow USB Debugging. OEM should already have been unlocked.
Step 3
- Connect device to your pc & in the platform-tools+Magisk folder you, run CMD.exe
- Input adb devices to ensure proper connection
- Input adb install -r MagiskManager-v7.0.0.apk to install MM to your device
- Open MagiskManager & make sure everything is good to go (see attached screenshot)
- If everything is done properly then you will see a superuser tab in the left side-bar, indicating root access
