g935p to g935f conversion, if it's possible? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Hello, I have a G935P USA Sprint S7E but live in cental europe. When i try my provider APN there is even LTE sometimes but i can't receive MMS everytime I try, i don't have a full language pack also. Please tell If it's any way to turn the phone into g935F international (flash, rom, odin etc..) without changing pcb.
Regards

As long as the binary fuse is the same, you can flash any version to any version provided you Odin snapdragon images to a snapdragon phone.
Same type of thing for exynos.

No

Converting SM-G935S/K/L to G935F?

Since they both are an Exynos variant, is it possible to flash 935F firmware to Korean variants, if possible? (Through Odin - SamFirm)

I see. I thought it would be possible also on Exynos variant, since carrier-branded SD820 S7/S7E can be converted into 930/935U through the same way.
Converting G935S to G935F
Apologize for asking again, I have been searching for a definite answer regarding converting from 935S to 935F (Same hardware). found some who claim it is possible (no explanation how) and some who say it's impossible.
Can anyone recommend what can be done? i.e a customized ROM?
I got the 935S as a leftover from a travel to Seoul and would like to use it elsewhere.. however it is always on roaming, cannot have conf calls and collects news in Korean, etc..
Please help TIA:angel:

I just went and asked the same thing, and deleted it, cause i have a Note8 and we can flash whatever carrier firmware we want, the phone is decided by the SIM card...BUT ever carrier has the SAME model number for once, every carrier is SM-N950U, an odd couple are SM-N950U1....

I know this thread is old but it is possible. I have korean model G935S which have ROM of G935FD, I am not sure how it was done, but it was done to convert it into dual sim model. So i am pretty sure F ROMs could also be flashed, but how? Its an question whose answer I dont have xD

Flash SM-G935T (Snapdragon) firmware to SM-G935F (Exynos) phone?

I'm curious as to whether it is possible to flash SM-G935T (Snapdragon) firmware to a SM-G935F (Exynos) phone...
I'm on T-Mobile in the USA and wanted the Exynos processor and root to block ads. Knox is tripped, I'm not worried about that, but I want to ensure I have all of the network updates / modem installed.
Is it possible to flash the T-Mobile modem (CP file) via Oden? Or are they non-compatible due to the different processors? Would I see any gain? Get WiFi calling? Better reception?
Thanks,
diznanl
just stick with the G935 firmware, its leagues ahead of the bloat rubbish USA carriers ruin phones with. Flashing T-Mobile firmware wont change the band support, you may not get wifi calling though ...
As always, never flash different phone firmware on your phone, it'll never work.
Snapdragon S7 and Exynos S7 should be treated as different phone when flashing firmware.
For wifi calling, this is CSC feature, not modem limitations.

Flash Tmobile stock rom on SM-G935FD

Hello,
As the title says, I'd like to flash the tmobile stock rom or perhaps the tmobile variant of the SM-G935U on my SM-G935FD. Tmobile is my service provider and I'd like to be able to use wifi calling and samsung pay. I know I can flash these roms without issue, but I was wondering if it would be possible to revert back to stock SM-G935FD firmware, since the tmobile ones have locked bootloaders.
Would it be possible to either flash stock SM-G935FD again or do a hard factory reset?

You cant do it, odin will not allow the wrong firmware to be flashed.
And in the this case your talking about flashing firmware from a snapdragon devcie onto a exynos device.
That alone should have been enough to realize its not happening.
Your far better off with exynos anyway, locked bootloader on the snapdragon version...that is crap

You can setup and use Samsung Pay on an international device -- check the Samsung Pay thread . I have the DBT (germany) CSC on my phone; before that I had XSG (Saudi Arabia); and both times I have successfully used Samsung Pay.
Wifi Calling won't work AFAIK.

Need help, I have SM-930A, I want to flash a SM-930F firmware, is it possible?

Hello There,
I have purchased a Samsung S7 on ebay, they sent Sm-930A instead of SM-930F, I am stuck with this phone now and I can not use any of ATT services as I am outside USA.
I want to change my phone to global version. Is there any possibility I can do it?? Please help and let me know how?

Download and flash this file here:

This firmware is the unbloated rom, it does not have any carrier bloat. The SM-G930F uses an exynos chip and you cannot flash g930f firmware on the g930a. AT&T and US S7s are all qualcomm chips.
Hello there,
Although I'm new, I have experienced trying to flash the "F" firmware to USA qualcomm Galaxy S7 (SM-G930P with "U" firmware) phone and it will not work.
The SM-G930F uses the Exynos chip while SM-G930A uses Qualcomm.

Going from G935T firmware to G935F

Hi, i just thought id check here.
I have a TMobile Galaxy S7 Edge and i have moved to the UK and want to change it to the international firmware (G935F). The device is unlocked and allows my UK sim card but the signal is pretty awful and is dropping out quite a lot so thought it may be a firmware issue.
I have checked and the G935T and the G935F use different chips so will this restrict the International firmware being flashed on it?
Regards
Brad
you will brick the device since they are different chipsets
u firmware

Ive now got G935U firmware and the signal seems to be horrible in the UK... Any idea on what i can do to help increase signal strength as i am losing signal in areas which are well known and should have great coverage..
Thanks
I use T-Mobile's CP (modem) firmware with the U firmware and I never had a problem with reception in Europe but I have not been to England.
I have a samsung s7 edge which show as F model after dialin *#1234#
All ap,cp,csc show as smg935f
