Let's see if you can get me out of doubt and help. I have the x720 and at first I took the 4g network without any problem, but I have not taken it for a while, but not even a moment, it is as if it had ceased to exist. I have not changed company, or sim or anything. What I have done is flash a lot of roms trying some and others and sometimes having even semi bricks. Could this have affected the correct functioning of the modem? Could the LTE network have been disabled in some way from my device?
I hope he is not the only weirdo that this happens and you can help me.
Thank you

Now Gizrom 1.4 26s
As I have read in some forum, apparently you can not flash the firm 28s because it disables band 20 (4G). That's true? If so, would it have a solution? I had no idea that flashing firm 28s or higher could happen that. Certainly I have done it on occasion.

Thank you for your master response, but I have already tried and what I have achieved is even worse. Now I have no service in any of the sim. How can I solve this to leave it with all the band as when I bought it?

After trying what you told me yesterday nothing changed. I even used qfil to supposedly restore everything as in the beginning but the result was the same. I was already desperate because the problem was even more serious than at first. I did not have a network Then I remembered that I had made a nandroid + efs of gizrom 1.4 as a last resort. I installed it and finally it turned everything to me as it was at the beginning, that is, I have a network but I still do not have 4g. I do not want to give up but I can not think of anything else that I have already done. Will I have to resign to lose that band? Aaaaa and another very strange thing that left me a little restless. By putting nandroid directly by recovery in the option to access the folders, I recognized on the pc as x727 instead of x720 which is mine. That has left me pretty pissed. I do not know if you can think of something else I can try. Thanks for everything

So you flashed any basebands available here?
I think then the only way is to reflash the factory image: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312

Yes I think I understand you, this is really weird, because my method does wipe and format EVERYTHING...
Maybe you did a mistake (but I think you didn't because I think my guide is described very well)
It doesn't look like a hardware failure, so currently I have no solution

Did you back up your EFS folder before flashing a custom rom on it??
You may very well need to flash a stock rom back on the device. Check your firmware here - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/

Hello guys!
In the past, I faced some similar problems with my Galaxy S3 because I was a mad ROMs tester, so one time the baseband messed up with me and I lost all the network abilities, but I managed to deal with that..
Today it's my dad's issue, he likes to keep everything on stock, but rooted...
So he updated his I9505 to the latest Lollipop version, then he rooted it..
Today he told me that he can't make or receive ANY calls or SMSs, but the mobile data is still working as it should.
He can't remember if the problem started before or after updating.. So I tried the following:
• Did a factory reset.
• flashed a clean 4 files firmware through ODIN.
• took the SIM away and tested it on another devices, it works fine.
• Downgraded to KitKat and flashed the proper modem and bootloader.
Nothing helped [emoji17][emoji17]
So I wish that you guys, can do your best to help me..
P.S. The IMEI serial number is fine ( no null/null or imilar errors ).

So that means no hardware issues?

It could simply be SIM card issues, yes. Definitely not hardware if it works with another SIM.

I have got a EE sourced Z5 and I wonder whether it will connect to 800Mhz if I fash it with Three software.
If you flash it, possibly. There's no harm in flashing to find out and flashing back if you aren't satisfied.

I don't know why you would need a factory data reset. But if you want to go ahead
Your phone should connect to the best band provided by your network by default, I don't think it's going to matter what European firmware you use. If you are on Three I would flash the Three firmware anyway so you can use VOLTE when it comes out.

You will have to factory reset your phone because you will get a small system update from Three, which I think enables the 800Mhz network.
Not sure if it supports VOLTE but my phone doesn't show the VOLTE arrows but I have made calls while on 4G.
Or you can try to connect to the 800Mhz 4G network by going to a area where the 1800Mhz 4G signal is weaker.
I have factory reset now but got no update as of yet

You will have to factory reset your phone because you will get a small system update from Three, which I think enables the 800Mhz network.
Not sure if it supports VOLTE but my phone doesn't show the VOLTE arrows but I have made calls while on 4G.
Or you can try to connect to the 800Mhz 4G network by going to a area where the 1800Mhz 4G signal is weaker.

3. Settings->Sim Cards->Data Connection(ON).
4. Settings->Sim Cards->Sim1/2->Network Operators->Choose Automatically
5. Settings->Sim Cards->Sim1/2->Network Operators->Choose Manually
6. Removed Google Account And Tried (As Posted As A Fix By Some Other Forum)

Nothing happens on its own. You must have flashed something wrong. Or you could've dropped your phone.
BTW, if you flash stock ROM with stock recovery, they are not gonna find it. And you can easily get your phone repaired.

Definitely, the guy who changed it did something wrong. I don't see any other reason for this.

Since, The Phone Is Opened, i.e. Physically Opened. Will The Stock ROM Installation Help?
Will The Service Center Guys Accept?

Well, they would atleast give it a look. Maybe, find out that somebody has opened it earlier. But, give it a try. And btw, why don't you go to the guy who changed your display. Tell him, its his fault. Maybe its just a loose wire and he could fix it.
And download from here instead, if you haven't started yet.
Same issue faced
