Working treble roms? - Huawei P10 Lite Questions & Answers

Has anyone tried any official treble roms yet? I'd really like a pure android type rom but I'm too scared to try myself.

Android Pay with AOSP built ROMs....possible?

Just wondering if there has been any headway on getting Android Pay working with AOSP based ROMs.
I know we can root/unroot, etc the stock ROM to get it working, but has anyone done the process with an AOSP ROM? (like PureNexus, Chroma, etc)
Thanks in advance.

I am also interested in having my android pay working with custom aosp rom
Was about to ask this question, but saw there is already a thread. I presume Android Pay will not work on a Custom ROM due to changes made to the /system partition. Curious if that assumption is correct.

Best custom rom + kernel currently?

Thinking about switching from cloudy 3.3 to a custom rom.
Is the cm13 the best now or is there something similar or better?
Also, what kernel should i be using if i decide to switch?
You can try CM13 based Roms as well.
I'm on MIUI8 Rom right now which looks really nice! And it has some useful tools you can only find on MIUI Roms. But...it has got a few bugs which developer is always trying to fix them but well...they might be annoying for some people!
You can also try some CM13 builds which are bug-free and smoother but...it's pure Android so no special tool. It's up to you
But I'm pretty sure that Lambda kernel is the best kernel to use on CM/AOSP based Roms. You may want to give it a try.

(Nearly) stock MM Rom

Greeting's
I am searching for a MM (NOT NOUGAT) ROM which is stock android as much as possible. But I only find ressurection remix which is 7.0
Anyone knows a good 6.0 Nearly AOSP ROM?
Thanks for help!

Have you tried this?
Not aosp, but very small and light if you don't flash add-on and mod
Despite there may be personal preferences using a MM rom I heavily advise against it due to missing security patches. Unlike Linux distros support is dropped by vendor immediately once a new version is released.

AOSP ROM for S8?

hello,
I have seen a topic here before about AOSP based ROM for S8(Exynos), but still can't find any after all that time.
So i was wondering if anyone or any team is working on it? or anyone want to?
I really like AOSP and if i know that no one working on it, maybe i'll teach myself and do it.
Unofficial port is available for s8 but alot of bugs its alpha... Not usabld as a daily driver...dont bother to flash

Best Project Treble ROM

So, I've been out of the Android game for a good 7 years. Things have changed! I've recently learned that we're good to flash all PIE Project Treble ROMS.
Am I right in thinking that these ROMs will probably not be as smooth and bug free as a custom ROM designed specifically for the Mi 9T?
Do you know of a Project Treble ROM that works flawlessly on the Mi 9T?
I really want to get away from MIUI, but need a perfectly working phone.
Many thanks
perfection can be strived to but in a sense never be achieved
in this thread they post working ROMs & the like
