Hey guys,
My wife has the moto g5 plus and she says the camera quality is really bad.
I want to improve her camera quality but i want her to remain on current stock ROM.
Is gcam my best option?
Must i root the phone for gcam to work?
Is there any camera settings which i can tweak before going on the gcam rode?
If u recommend gcam please share the best/easiest guide for installing it as i think i saw plenty out there.
Thank you!
Much appreciated

Hey.. Thank you for sharing this with us. This is working for Redmi 3s prime. However the front camera quality is not gotten better. Every time I clicked a pic, it becomes darker automatically. I have tried to fix this by changing few settings, but I need your help. Can you please us what settings you're using?
Not working in aosp extended v5.3
Hello all,
I am on stock Android Naugat ROM. I've just unlocked bootloader and enabled Camera 2API. But none of the GCam mods working in my phone.
Can anybody please suggest me which camera app should I use for portrait mode?

(Link below) GCam works, it has Lens blur option but not portrait..

Also, GCam 5.x+ require Arm64, which is not possible on stock ROM and custom oreo ROMs are not stable enough for camera stuff..
Hi Guys
Was wondering if anyone else used ANY Gcam mods after updating to Oreo on H990DS? Some of them crash and ones that work HDR does not appear to be working as there is no difference between stock and Gcam images. I was getting WAY better image quality on Nougat than Oreo on Gcam, at least. Anyone else experience this?
Cheers

Hey there nice guys,
I am Melanie from the Netherlands, trying to get the Google Camera on my phone. I unlocked and rooted my phone. Non of the 6 popular costum roms I tried worked out. I got so far already that I don't want to give up.
I am willing to pay if someone wants to help me make the last steps in getting an api2 and getting Google Camera.
Hoping for answers
Bye, Melanie
Which ROMs have you tried? Have you tried using Magisk modules? Are you sure that Camera2API isn't enabled? It could be a problem with your Gcam version
Hello, go to https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-san1ty/#apk581 and download the latest apk, latest one being MGC_6.1.021_Potter_v7_san1ty.apk right now, install it and you'll have Gcam. Camera2 api should be enabled by default in custom ROMs.
Hi. I recently installed Lineage OS, but all the camera apps only recognise the main camera. How can i use the ultra-wide and telephoto?

Try GCAM modified for different phones.
The Google one from here should work on Lineage (first one is for OP8p). I think the third will also work.

Thank you for the reply. All of them seem to be crashing. I tried older versions too. I also tried the oneplus camera, but all of them crash instantly.
Sorry , tried to attach GCam_7.3.018 but it is too large.
If is really important to you, try a custom rom like AICP or CRDroid. They have the stock Oneplus camera less 48MP.
Thank you so much for your help. I'll check them out
