I see TONS of stuff about unlocking the bootloader on a ZE500KL, but does anyone know how to unlock the sim so I can use a phone from the Philippines on a US network? I would prefer to keep the stock ROM if possible.
Sorry if this question has already been answered, I tried searching but all I get is the bootloader unlock results spam.
Nothing? This was purchaced in the Phillipines as an unlocked phone, and it was used with Globe, but wont work with US ATT sims. If anyone has any ideas how I could get it working I would REALLY appreciate that.

guyz i really need your help on this if anyone could just give me some advice any piece of advice is worth gold right now ,,,basically i have a wing and is locked to t-mobile i've been trying to unlock it but for some reason it's not accepting the unlock code i dunno if it's something im doing wrong or what , i've tried reseting the phone and nothing seems to work....and the worst thing is the phone is not even for me it's for my girl i purchased it for her for christmas and now i think im screwed i didnt get any back up gifts so pleaseeeeee help me out guyz
If it's a SIM unlock and you got the code from Tmobile, I would call up tmobile's support. If you didn't get the phone from Tmobile directly, then I'm not sure how else to SIM unlock these guys. Sorry.
haven't tried it myselves but I have read something about IMEICHECK to unlock your device. Search for this by using the search function. It is a problem which has been tackled earlier. Seek and thou shall find

I am just wondering is there any methods to unlock the SIM for this phone without contacting Vodafone?
I tried inputing the *#xxxxxxxxx# number but it does not work. The phone is locked to this network.
I am also wondering if I change the ROM will that unlock the sim??

I bought this model ( SM-G935P ) on ebay and the phone is coming from the USA. Only knowledge i got is that it has bad ESN. That should not be a problem here in the Netherlands so i thought...lets give it a try.
The phone does not recognize any dutch simcards so im pretty sure it has a sim lock. My question is ....can i unlock this model here in the Netherlands? The device does not ask for a unlock code just says "Invalid simcard".
I dont want to spend any money on a local shop with the result that they cant unlock it.
I hope someone can help me out or point me in the right direction!
Ps , forgive me ignorance. Thought all new phones were sim lock free.

Can it be that the phone is on CDMA and thats the reason it cant read my simcard? I also saw something about U firmware?

It needs to be unlock , then put the U firmware on it to open up all your bands , I can do the unlock on it if you root it , pm me

Why don't you get a G935F? It is BL unlocked and sim unlocked. I believe.
