Thanks in advance.
I think the french unbranded is not out yet, here are firmwares available on FUS downloader 2.1: https://sites.google.com/site/rizandroid/galaxy-s3
You have to use to advanced search option and insert the codes for your firmware, then click find firmware, download.

Hi I just got a Note 3 on eBay, I think the seller was from Hong Kong but they opened it and installed Singaporean firmware on it.
I want it to run HK firmware but I heard about all these issues with the partition? I'm confused, which firmware am I allowed to install? I have XSP so I think that is Singapore.
I have a Rose Gold White 32GB.

Yes, you are right that the HK firmware can not be installed on another Note 3 due to different PIT file.
What is your Original CSC? You can check it with Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app.

Sorry, Sony was very easy for me to flash, I am seriously confused. I just want a firmware where there is Traditional Chinese. My Sony Z2 with German firmware had all the languages, weird that Samsung doesn't include all. So can anyone please direct me? I don't want to flash the wrong firmware and brick it. Thanks.

Since your phone is XSP now, you MAY NEED the PIT file from the HK phone to flash the HK firmware.
Search in the forum for the PIT file and also the instruction.
I have a version of SM-N910C that is region unlocked/factory unlocked and not associated with any carrier. That is, the phone and firmware are not branded with any carrier logo and and has no carrier bloatware. The product code of my phone is SM-N910CZKEMTZ, which means region code MTZ is not associated with any country. The problem I ran into is that sammobile.com does not have the firmware for this version listed. The only place I can find the original firmware for it is over at samsung-updates.com and the download links they provided would take about 17 hours to download, unless you pay.
Does anyone know if there is another firmware for N910C (other than MTZ) that is NOT carrier branded? I actually tried the one listed as "unknown" from sammobile.com and it turned out to be for a carrier from Chile called Entel.
you can try the russian NK5 version from Sammobile, flashed it on my 910C and it works perfectly.. except for the IR but that is an issue with the phone itself
Is the Russian firmware branded by a carrier?

This is the link for Russion firmware, it isn't branded by any carrier . SAMMOBILE
I also have the N910CXXU1ANK5 and can confirm that it's bloat free. In my case I received the OTA few days back.
Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
Thanks. I will give the Russian firmware a try. Some people claimed that N910CXXU1ANK5 fixed IR blaster issue.

Use any unbranded firmware mate, UK for example. By unbranded I mean try those which don't come with any carrier labelling, you know like O2 etc.

Yes, unless EE is a carrier name it should be unbranded.
Installing the EE firmware will also install EE's own remote phone locking software in the persdata partition (Which is a real pain to remove as it will keep coming back even if you flash a non EE firmware) as well as EE's bloatware.
Use the BTU firmware for a clean unbranded phone.

Downgrading on galaxy note 4
Hi....I just found your thread and wanted to know did the downgrade work in the end and what impact did it have on the phone. Did it improve? What were the reasons you decided to downgrade?
Thanks
Hello,
Yesterday I downloaded the Vodafone Italian Nougat firmware, flashed it and immediately as my S7E turned on I saw that the firmware was wrong.
In fact the firmware is from Germany No Brand, I already downloaded it again just to make sure that I didn't made any mistakes, flashed it again and I have the same problem.
Sammobile take up to 10 days to respond, So I'm asking if anyone else has this problem, or maybe can anyone upload the real Vodafone Italia Nougat firmware:
Model SM-G935F
Model name Galaxy S7 edge
Country Italy (Vodafone)
Version Android 7
Changelist 10422490
Build date Mon, 20 Feb 2017 06:27:00 +0000
Security Patch Level 2017-02-01
Product code OMN
PDA G935FXXU1DQBT
CSC G935FVFG1DQBT
Thanks everyone
your firmware can be download from here.

Thanks, will download, flash and report back here
I downloaded that one myself some days ago and had no issues.
However, I am wondering why did you flash it if it was wrong. You can easily determine it by the filename.
Has your device been on OMN before?

Yes ofcourse, I an prepaid Vodafone SIM installed. The phone was not bought under any contract with Vodafone
the firmware is multi csc files with Germany is the main CSC. we cannot do anything with it. The only way i know how to change the csc fully to your country is via Samsung Service Center or you need to root the device and do it with samsung phoneinfo apps. Root and you will loose samsung pay function/secure folder and any knox related software like shealth
Usually the CSC changes accordingly to the sim inserted. Only if there's no corresponding csc it takes the default one in multi csc roms.
Please download Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and posts screens here to see what's really going on.
Here's the screenshot

Flash your original marshmallow firmware using the CSC. It will factory reset your device
Flash the latest Nougat firmware using the HOME_CSC from your original firmware (can be the marshmallow one or if you have an Nougat one, use this). Don't use the nougat CSC file anymore.
Unfortunately without a Single CSC file you are not getting back to your original CSC and a single CSC has not been published for Vodafone Italy. In case of multi CSC the system uses the CSC already applied or in case of change (since you've BTU at the moment) the standard CSC which is VD2 (Vodafone Germany) in this case.
The only way to change that is with root.

I said using CSC meaning the firmware included all the stuff of your firmware.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Unfortunately that won't help as there's no firmware which only includes Vodafone Italy. There's only one with several European Vodafone settings and if you flash that onto a device with non-Vodafone CSC such as BTU it used the standard CSC included which is Vodafone Germany. I thought first different, too, unfortunately there's no way without root (tested it by myself).
Rooting is out of picture, because I don't want to loose warranty.
I'll try to download and flash Vodafone Italy MM, then flash it, after I'll flash again the nougat with the old MM csc.
Edit: in this case I'll wait for a few weeks until Vodafone Italy will release the proper csc file.
Thanks
