I've only noticed this lately and it might be a result of the update. But it makes no sense since my M3 is a wifi-only model. Does anyone understand how to turn this off permanently?

Is it my phone or what
when i get a call I feel the vibration and hear the ring tone about 4 to 5 seconds before the screen turns on so I could answer
Do they plan on doing anything about this?
You guys dont happen to have SMS popup installed??
I am having the same issue but don't have SMS popup. I do however have dxTop, Missed Call, a rooted phone, and my apps on my SD card. I noticed it some time after I got the last Missed Call update (when they changed the logo) and added dxTop. Do any of you have a similar setup? Maybe we can figure this thing out.
I don't have any of those apps installed and am experiencing the same problem.
I do have K9 and I get a wait/force close periodically.
I do have caller lookup installed though (because it's apparently very important that I don't let my factory warranty on my truck expire).
I'm using JFRC33 1.42 but I can't say that it didn't happen with previous firmwares, it just seems to be happening more often now. It hasn't happened in a few days though.
It really does seem like there's a combination of factors that cause the problem, I just haven't been able to notice the pattern yet.
I have not done a wipe either.

Hmmm... I have JFRC33 1.42 as well with the updated radio (1.22.14.11) and K-9 Mail which I too am having numerous force close issues. Maybe K9 is the culprit? Anyone else have K-9 as well?
I have the same issue and just got to the point where I had to remove my 8GB sd with apps to ext2, wipe and now I only have pretty much the stock apps, stock messaging, no sms pop up, 1GB sd with jfv1.42_RC33_MOD
just did it last night to see if it works fine now.
I'll post it as soon as I found out whether it works or not
so far the problem is GONE! the phone ring right away, shows the caller info as should be yeeeh!! am testing right now installing custom ringtones and missed call app, running missed call app is causing the phone to ring only twice and goes to VM right away, rebooted and everything is normal but no doubt that missed call is causing some unwanted actions in the phone,

how many apps you have? are you rooted? apps in the sd? lets find out how far can we go to resolve this.. I think is related to the amount of apps and the notification apps running, I don't have K9 tho..
I switched my Sprint number over to Google Voice about a month ago as part of the Sprint/GV integration. So far, so good, no problems.
I noticed before that if I sent a message from the stock SMS app, it'd show up in Google Voice. I thought it was a pretty handy feature. However, I noticed it hasn't been happening lately (within the past week or so). Has anyone else noticed this?
I don't know if this is a ROM issue (MikshiftG) or a Sprint/GV/Network issue or maybe it's just a feature they stopped enabling.
Just wondering if anyone else a) noticed this feature before and b) if it's still working for anyone else.
Has this been fixed? I plan to switch to sprint soon and was hoping this worked like this.
Mine still does this so im not sure what the problem is for you. I'm on the ota 2.3 update.
It must've been a temporary issue. Sprint was having SMS issues around the time this was happening... haven't had any problems since then.
Anyone else having problems with your "Me" Tile?
For the last week or so, mine's been reporting updates which when checked don't exist!
Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing this?
Best wishes from a very sunny North Yorkshire,

Yep, this has been happening to me too. On 7720 and 8107. I thought it was my setup causing it to happen because I had my facebook notifications going to my PC, iPad, *and* my phone, and maybe it was causing my phone to misbehave.

Yep, mine keeps telling me I have between 1 and 3 notifications when I don't.
Doesn't happen all the time but numerous times on a daily basis.
I even deleted my Social Network Account on it and recreated them one by one, but still it keeps doing it.
Strange!
Hello everyone, I am on sprint and have the option for enabling RCS data messaging on my phone. it works great but will not allow my phone to sleep. It is keeping it awake nearly 50% of my screen off time and I was wondering if I am the only one experiencing this. Tried factory reset to stock just to make sure it wasnt a rom issue and it is present whenever the RCS messaging is enabled. Lets use this as a place to talk about this issue and find a work around/fix.

I'm not on Sprint, nor do I have RCS but maybe here is one reason. The "Ignore Battery Optimization" that you have to set in order to use it so that it can run in the background all the time.
Yeah that was something I thought about as well but it seems unreasonable that it would just keep my phone awake so much even when it should be in deep sleep. I guess I must be in a small minority of use with sprint and a brand new Google service on top of it.
Hi everyone! Wondering if you guys may have heard of or are familiar with an issue I recently came across. First I'll rattle off my specs.
LGV20 H91820f
Oreo 8.0.0
Rooted using Lafsploit
TWRP Recovery
Magisk Manager
Textra Texting App (This is important)
The issue I am having seemed to have started rather recently and specifically occurs the most when receiving and sending text messages. I have noticed that in some cases, when sending a text, it will vibrate once sent. This does not happen on all texts and is even intermittent on the texts that it does happen with. I have looked through Textra and have not seen any settings which do that. The other issue is, prior to receiving a text my phone will do a long vibrate, then once the text is received, I will get the vibrate pattern I have set up. Again, I have not seen any settings in the App or in the phone that indicate why that would be happening. I have disabled the default messaging app to see if that might be interfering in some way but to no avail. I haven't found too many answers searching online. Anyone have any other insight or possible solutions? Feedback is greatly appreciated. If you need any more information about my setup, please let me know.
