I have been facing issues on outgoing calls getting connected. Currently I am using Jio4G in Sim1 Slot and Idea4G in Sim2 Slot. I always prefer to use Sim2 for calls. But I am facing this issue on calling from both slots very frequently. It takes nearly one minute for connecting a call if it fails then call ended pop up.

Hi,
I have a problem with the dual sim connection. I have a sim that i use only in 3G for data and another in 2G for voice.
The problem is:when the 3G is active on the first sim, i can not receive calls on the second sim. For example i have the 3g active, then i put the phone in standby. To receive a call, the other person must try 3 or 4 times in order for the phone to ring.
Is this normal?

I have a really frustrating problem with my S5 (900F) where I can't make or receive calls.
I initially assumed it was a bug in Cyanogenmod 14.1, as that's when I first noticed the problem; however today I have flashed stock firmware on the handset and the same problem persists. I can see a signal and if I disable WiFi I can see HSPA/3G data in the status bar and can browse, but if I try to make a call it immediately disconnects and I cannot receive calls either.
I have moved the SIM card to another phone and can make and receive calls there, so I am sure the SIM card is OK.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

Hi All,
I am from India. I have 2 sim cards from service providers Airtel and Jio. when i make/receive a call through Jio, the other person can hear clearly. But when i make/receive a call through Airtel, the oher person can hear my breaking voice. for example if i say: "Hi, How are you?" they will only hear "H_ __w __r_ y"
while testing with a continuous voice, i found that the breaks in between have exactly same gap time (approx 1 sec).
Also, this only happens only in 3g/4g mode. if i put the airtel network in 2g mode, there is no voice break.
I also got the sim card changed, but it is the same in new sim card as well.
I tried swapping the sim slots, it is the same in both the slots.
I tried putting the sim in other phone, and it works fine.
the question is, if my phone has problem, how does Jio work fine on both the slots? and if there is problem with Airtel network/sim card, how does it work well in other phone or in the same phone with 2 mode?
I am really confused, and tried searching for a solution on the web. I tried switching off Noise cancellation, switching off "OK google" as well.
Some help / guidance would be really appreciated...
Note: Jio is VOLTE based network and Airtel is normal 4G
Hello,
am having the exact same problem. Jio on Volte and Idea on normal 2g (i suppose because there is only one common setting fro both sims i.e 2G/3G/4G Automatic). Jio works fine but idea call breaks on every call i receive and the calls i make. Any solution ?
Its related with h+ you wont have any issues with 2 g or 4g that h+ issue is killing me
Hey I am facing the same issue. Your problem solved by some one .. or still facing the same yet.
Hello,
I have got the odd situation with the SM-G950FD (Singapore non-branded XSP CSC) living in the UK and using the Vodafone UK network whereby I am unable to make VoLTE phone calls although I have got the VoLTE function enabled. I first thought it was because of the network, however I came to notice that I am able to use VoLTE to make phone calls when I make them from my car over Bluetooth. It is of course the same mobile phone, and I can confirm VoLTE use as the display continues to show 4G+ or 4G whilst on the phone instead of jumping to H+ or H.
It seems as if phone calls over Bluetooth must be triggering a different call initiation routine compared to making a phone call using the dialler on the phone itself. Has anyone encountered this before and has anyone an explanation for this? How can I fix this so that I can VoLTE phone calls from the phone directly as well?
Thanks
Wolfgang
Hi,
We used to use 2 Jio sim's in an Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 phone. The second jio sim in slot 2 was a secondary sim which was rarely used. It's calls were set to auto forward to some other number. We used to keep this second sim deactivated most of the times to save battery. Anyways now we were planning to use this number. Whenever we switch on the second sim slot in this phone a call forwarding logo used to come at the top, although it was turned off many months back. We went to the call forwarding settings for this second sim, the page kept on loading then it said some error or something. Tried it in slot one but same result. Tried this number in Samsung Galaxy series phone but same result. It shows that call forwarding is there but when we click to see to which number it keeps on loading and then show that it is turned off but the call forwarding sign doesn't go away. It asks us to enter a number for call forwarding if we want to. If we do enter some number then finally it displays failed to read data- something went wrong, Check your sim card or network connection, then try again. This sim can receive all the text messages. Since it is not recharged so can't confirm about the outbound calls, texts. If we call to this number then it says that the number is busy.
Isn't call forwarding limited to phones? In this case it has stuck with the sim somehow. Even if I recharge it and the same thing is there then it will be a waste of money. Is there any way to reset this sim or something? If the customer care can do something about it then what should I tell them to do?
Thanks
If you can recharge jio sim than call forwarding problem automatically solved.
