Sony Experia Z and Mirrorlink - Xperia Z General

Hello, Dear users of the forum!
In Sony Experia Z, MirrorLink, which goes in the official firmware, does not turn off the screen during operation, because of this the battery discharges faster than charging. Can this be fixed. Applications that turn off the screen does not help much.
Just the sound of the phone, extinguishes the sound of the media system.
There are also interruptions of sound in the player.
All this in MirrorLink mode.
In AndroidAuto mode, the phone simply overheats and shuts down.
Please tell me what firmware other than stock can be installed, so that the Mirrorlink version is not lower than 1.1, that is, Android needs at least 7.0
Maybe someone already solved this problem?

PROBLEM! Phone becomes unresponsive/shuts off while music plays

I recently started using my HTC tilt 2 again, but there serious problems I believe could be just software errors. I am running kalhimeo Lite 3.2 rom and I installed s2p 0.83b and while music plays either from the bluetooth headset (Sony ericsson MW600) or from the stock htc headphone adapter box the music stops after a while and the phone will not respond (screen is blank, status led remains blinking, sliding the keyboard or power key does nothing connecting to a power source or PC does nothing) and I have to either A) reset button or B) take the battery out. As of Posting I uninstalled S2U2 and am going to try playing music with the stock lock and see if that works.
Also How do I set S2P to read avrcp controls properly?
any OS rom or music/screen lock program suggestions are appreciated (also might be in wrong forum)

Does not matter volume.level before.
Does not matter battery level.

Sony Walkman and Meizu stock Equalizer???

Hi friends,
I have a Pro 5 and installed the Sony music player/walkman on it. I even manged to install all the sony sound enhancements (which is a very annyoing and complex procedure without TWRP and the ability to flash zips), but that sounds much worse then the stock equalizer, so my question is:
Why won`t this damned player work with the stock Meizu Equalizer?
When the player is installed without the sony enhancements, the Meizu Equalizer will show up in it and i can turn it on, but it just won`t work, no matter what i do.
Other players like google for example work with the stock EQ without any problems, it`s just the Walkman that gives me a headache.
If anyone with a Meizu device (no matter which one) managed to install Walkman and get it to work with the stock EQ - PLEASE tell me how.

Bluetooth audio stutter

Who else is facing audio stutter when listening to music over bluetooth?
I thought it was an issue with my headset (Sony SBH80) but it seems to be happening on all devices, its very bad when using stock music player. Its totally unusable.
I have intermittent music over Bluetooth in my car sometimes... When I shut all the apps it's fine..

When I used it with my last headunit in my car (sony-device) it worked fine! But since we switched to another car (mazda) it stutters frequently without any logical reason. I also didn't manage to recreate the issue as it, sometimes, play just fine.

I was using Samsung before z5 and I think Samsung Bluetooth and WiFi is much superior then Xperia... My Samsung could connect to my Asus ac router beyond 300 meter Xperia sometimes can't get connected while I am at home..

I have to live with multiple issues on Z5p, it heats up and the UI stutters when its hot . Battery life is not as good as my Z3...Wish Sony will address all of this in Xperia X performance at least.
But the bluetooth issue made me completely pissed, never have experienced this in any of my previous phones, even basic phones with no smart features have a decent bluetooth radio!
Same here. Got the bt stuttering on a regular basis. Phone restart helps for a limited amount of time. Super sucky problem indeed!
This problem has been addressed in the Sony Mobile Forum. Apparently the FM Radio app is causing the issue(even if you don't use it). To fix this, the FM Radio was removed in the next update, and added back again in the subsequent update after the issue has been fixed. So until the updates are released, we have to live with it.
I've got it too. Z5 premium dual sim 6.0.1 build 32.2.A.0.224.
Sometimes it's clean, other times audio breaks out intermittently.
It seems to be less when I turn on stamina mode (very bad compared to the old stamina mode and the notification is ugly) on the latest marshmallow update. Others please confirm if its the same case for you.

Same here I've isolated it to Wi-Fi. The occurrence is reproduced during periods when Wi-Fi button is on!
Will try with wifi off on the way home.
My target is Kia head unit which works fine against
HTC one m7
Xperia z1
Nexus 5
Sgs6 edge
Only z5 premium giving issues.
My ear tells me that there is a buffer under run occurring... some bucket is running empty and the audio stream cuts out.
I occasionally have connections where I don't have stuttering but my experience is not consistent
It's irritating.
I've been getting this recently, not all the time but it's getting worse as time goes on.

I have a Sony SRS-X33 and it plays everything without any hiccup using high quality profile.
I have a Samsung sound dock DA E750 top of the line. I never had sound shuddering with Nokia, Samsung, iPhone. Unfortunately Xperia z5 I get it often...

So the last update does fix a bit, no stuttering when turning up or down the volume. It does however still stutter here and there which is too damn annoying.
What I do not understand is... What the hell changed from Lollipop to Marshmallow? It never stuttered in Lollipop...
I honestly don't believe it's happening because of the radio, otherwise it would have happened in Lollipop as well.
i also suffer this bluettoth issue but the stange thin is that not in all paired device i had that.
whit all standard bluetooth speaker it goes well no issue but i had that when i try to connect to my beoplay a2. i think it's relataded to the connection on aptx device ,cose on my boombox and vibe thor i had no problem
i see in music option, if you're connected to an aptx device, that the phone use the sony personal ldac protocol not the aptx.
maybe this is the problem

Before marshmallow everything was fine for me. Only after the MM update this issue surfaced...

Same thing happening to me - the only solution I found so far is to restart the phone in Safe Mode (hold the power button, then hold the finger on the Shut Down button on screen and chose Reboot in Safe Mode option), then restarting again - after this it's fine for some time - sometimes it's few days, sometimes it's just few hours, hit and miss.
Before Marshmallow Update all was good.

Not receiving any audio through my car speakers since a reset. Please help

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me, i've been going mad spending hours trying to troubleshoot. I'll try to be clear and concise.
My issue: Not receiving any audio through my car speakers since a reset.
long story, short-ish: i bought my car second hand with an android headunit which has been serving me well for years. One day it decided to go in a boot loop every time i started the a car (stuck in alfa romeo badge loading screen). cutting the power or turning off didnt resolve this until i decided to hold the power button to re-boot it, i could finally get the device past its boot screen and everything seemed to work, except the damn speakers, as if they're muted (which theyre not, ive checked) i have since tried rebooting and clearing the cache and toying with other settings... it seems to be a software / setting issue, as the only way i know the speakers still "work" is; if i have the setting turned on to make a beep when a button is pushed, it beeps, and also when i open the radio app, i can hear that "click sound" that the speaker is active. almost like when you plug a powered speaker into a computer 3.5mm port or something. it just seems as if something is blocking or preventing the audio. ive tried playing music from multiple apps or the radio.. it shows playing but i cant hear anything.
the headunit seems to be rooted and a lot of familiar applications as mentioned on this forum, malasyk, mtc. poweramp, headunit. many apps have access to the sound, perhaps some overlap others?
im not sure what my headunit model is, but please see attached photo.. Its running android kit kat (4.4? from memory). ive also attached photos of each screen to show what apps are installed.
any help would be greatly appreciated or suggestions where to look within the unit.. im absolutely stumped
regards.
