boot into fastboot via OST LA? - Nokia 6 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
I have unlocked my bootloader via signature file.
I want to know that if i want to flash recovery or anything in fastboot mode. Still i have to use OST LA to boot into fastboot?
Or i can just use simple command in adb.
"Adb reboot bootloader"
And then can flash things? With out using OST LA again when phone is in fastboot mode like we do when we are flashing mena firmware.

Go to fastboot .
Connect zuk to computer
Start adb
Use "fastboot -i 0x2b4c reboot-edl" y will reboot to dl mod and y can install right drivers for 9008 port.
If it not work than when y boot windows , press f8 chose "dont check drivers ....(something)"
Boot windows , uninstall zuk drivers , install it one more time and try to use qfil one more time .

[8/6/16] Unbrick RN3 from HS USB 900E with modified fastboot file

Found a way to reboot to edl mode from fastboot
All credits to @emuzychenko
1) Download modified fastboot file
2) Reboot your phone to fastboot
3) Double click on edl.cmd
4) You are on 9008/edl mode
5) Flash any fastboot image from Mi flash
You successfully unbricked your device
Hi
Try with that method also. It seams to work .
Next time I brick it again (trust me, it will happen) I will give those a try.
This is the solution www(dot)htcmania.com(/)showthread(dot)php?t=1163463
Cheked by me, the brick was to try to unlock the bootloader without the Xiaomi message.
Sorry for my english, bu ti hope to be helpful.
To restore the default Bootloader copy paste the emmc_appsboot.mbn from Fastboot Rom to the Adb foldee
and type command on cmd
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash abootbak emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot reboot
For those who have failed and stuck on "HS USB 900E" and the bootloader stick locked here is the solution :
1. Enter fastboot by holding vol down + power
2. Plug your RN3Pro to PC
2. Flash original bootloader from official fastboot firmware
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash abootbak emmc_appsboot.mbn
3. Type again :
fastboot reboot
and quickly hold volume up untuk it enter "sideload" mode
4. Install Mi PC Suite from this link en.miui.com/thread-225600-1-1.html
5. Let the Mi PC Suite download the latest chinese firmware, just sit and wait until it done
6. Lets Brick the beast again

Guys, please mention the reason behind your device getting bricked too when you are reporting what worked and what didn't. Like whether during unlock bootloader process(without xiaomi's permission) or flashing custom ROM(most probably MIUI official updates) via twrp.

I have found few ways by which people may unbrick from HS USB 900E state without test point, but those guides are for other devices, needs thorough testing for Redmi note 3.
Tools needed:-
1) QPST http://www.androidbrick.com/downloa...qcn-for-lollipop-android-5-0-6-0-marshmallow/
2)Nubia tool studio https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwtoIMKf470SRUxfdHA5cU14ZTQ#
Now follow these guides for reference,

2)http://www.androidbrick.com/unbrick...-you-have-the-right-kind-of-rom-qhsusb_dload/
Only people with hardbrick(900E) and locked bootloader can this test methods, Please try and leave your feedback, maybe we will find a way to unbrick without opening the phone and voiding warranty. Good Luck

Flashing original firmware

Hi, Can somebody tell me if its necessary to unlock the bootloader before flashing the official firmware. My device is not rooted and has a locked bootloader but as I wanted to flash the original firmware to refresh it, I was wondering if I can do it without unlocking the bootloader.
Thanks in advance.
Check this thread for EDL Mode https://forum.xda-developers.com/an.../guide-how-to-reboot-to-edl-fastboot-t3394292. Reboot to EDL Mode and flash using MI Flash Tool. This flashing not reuqires bootloader unlock.

Sorry but that is not correct, the A1 uses just fastboot, we don't use EDL.
Anyway just follow this guide

You just need to install miFlash or use fastboot commands if your more advanced, reboot to bootloader

Trying to re-lock the bootloader

I have a A2017U that I just downgraded to B35 using this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-axon-7-universal-unbrick-t3814413
I want to lock the bootloader to stop the annoying boot warning but can't get into fastboot when using AXON7TOOLKIT.
I tried flashing A2017U_FASTBOOT_UNLOCK_EDL (downloaded from https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/complete-guide-to-unlocking-installing-t3561128) through miFlash but I still can't get into the bootloader.
What can I do?
EDIT: Thanks everyone! I used the toolkit to unlock the bootloader again, then locked it. For some reason I couldn't access the bootloader even though i got the bootloader ulocked warning.

You only want to lock it because of the boot warning? There are flashables to get rid of that... I dom't know which exact files there are for stock B35 or Oreo but there are some going around.
hell you could even go custom and use the splash bootstack if you wanted.
If you want to lock anyways, you have to get an A2017U B19 package and flash it via EDL Tool (or MiFlash). Right after that you'll have fastboot. enable oem unlocking then enter fastboot and issue fastboot oem lock and you're done. But it's way too overkill if you want to just get rid of the 5 sec screen

you need to flash original stock rom for your device trough edl. (rom your device came from factory, marshmallow)
then boot into system, unlock developer options.Allow oem unlock and turn on usb debugging. Now connect phone to laptop and check the dialogue on your phone that ask for usb debug.Unplug phone.
When you did this you want to flash TWRP trough EDL.
Now boot in TWRP and flash UnlockbootloaderPackage from DrakenFX.
Reboot system.
Now turn off your device and boot into fastboot, connect your phone with laptop and open ADB terminal on your laptop or use Axon7toolkit.
In terminal enter fastboot oem lock,or in axon7toolkit choose lock bootloader.
Your bootloader is now locked.
PS: you dont need locked bootloader to recieve ota's,and make sure you are on the firmware your device came shipped with!!
You need a locked bootloader to get rid of the warning message ( dont flash any mod package that claims it delete the warning page)

can't relock bootloader g7

Can't relock bootloader with
Code:
fastboot oem lock
fastboot says boot.img is not signed
I tried the boot img from PPO29.0114-16-5, PPO29.0114-16, and PPO29.80-61. All it says are unsigned.
Now system update says this (screenshot attached):

I will let you know Im in the same situation as you. I unlocked the bootloader to root my device. But after trying what was available couldn't root my device. Not even patching the boot.img with magisk as the tutorial says. It didn't worked for me and it soft bricked my device so I decided to go back and locked the bootloader but this is the first time that I have an issue locking back a Motorola bootloader I don't know what moto did this time but things don't work as before. Im downloading the firmware through this tools and see if its any different to the firmware available at lolinet repository. If it work with the boot.img from this zip its downloading then it meas that the latest firmware available at lolinet is not the final or not signed or anything. lets see I let you know.

So what are you doing and what actually happens when you attempt to re-lock? Keep in mind that you need to run the fastboot oem lock command multiple times.

How can I lock the bootloader back, every time I try to code the '' fastboot oem lock '' several times says that the error, someone can help me undo this:

I can try and help...
Are you running stock firmware?
You can get official firmware from Lenovo assistant.
Once it is installed, the only thing left is locking.
Do a factory reset after your phone is flashed and do your dev options stuff.
What is your region... What state is your phone in?
Give as much info and steps as possible.

yes, I installed the firmware from lenovo's program, turned off the phone, plugged in the pc and opened adb, typed '' fastboot oem lock '' 3x and nothing happened, says I need a similar developer permission;(
Ok. You still need to turn on developer options and usb debugging. After going back to stock, do the dev options stuff and then plug into your computer and make sure to get the screen where you can always trust the pc... Then adb reboot bootloader from there.
Give that a go!
