how to change the RGB of the screen permanently through the terminal emulator?
I need to change the RGB without using apps, and permanently, so I can sell the mobile without burnscreen.

That's not possible and kind of illegal if you sell a defective device and advertise it as good.
It's been discussed how it works and what you need(search function).

320dpi is too big for my tastes.
I prefer 268dpi for more densely packed info while keeping ui elements close to center.
But! Whenever I want to search for apps, I need to set dpi to 320, reboot, clear market data and then open it to shop as I please.
Is there any workaround I'm missing? Anyway to keep a custom dpi while still keeping compatibility?
Please and thank you.

Could you elaborate on the second method? Is there any way to do it without a modded play store app?
When I Google, all I'm finding are results to change product/device name so other devices can have same compatibility as Nexus devices.

You can`t, requires changing default system setting and thus root. Rooting is a piece of cake and offers much more advantages than only color/gamma settings bro.
I would love to root but allot of us use out phones for banking like Barclay mobile banking if you root the app wont work so this is why we need to find another solution.
Custom kernel?

It's possible to disable root temporarily you know for apps that don't work with root.

I know you do not want to root but I know some of these 4.3 roms actually are not rooted at first and you have to flash SuperSu. Now you can flash a rom you like set it up how you want it and then remove SuperSu which the app has the feature built in and you will have a stock rom with the colors you like and your Barclay app will work.
Edit: I use Google Wallet and SuperSu, when I turn off root with SuperSu I do not get the unsupported device error
Many people I know would love this! My company does not allow rooted devices to access the corporate network.
Root. Apply the changes. Unroot.

Really? That easy? I was assuming that if I did that, any color profile changes would revert! This is very good news - I'll just have to make sure there is an easy way to root and unroot. If I am stuck rooted, I am going to be in a tight spot for work!
There are some new features like Display Scaling and Identify callers, but my up to date S7 edge doesn't have these features in settings at all. What's going on? I have all packages enabled.

Display scaling you can easily get back through an activity selector (or just use Nova launcher)
I use this for display scaling
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evozi.displayscaling
There is also a white page app you can use to block unknown numbers

display scaling is blocked from normal access because it breaks Android Pay. just an FYI

Thanks for the info but I'm wondering how many people use Android Pay over Samsung Pay.

People who don't have a bank that supports Samsung Pay
So Android Pay isn't working on my device I get the following error
"Android Pay can't be used
Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is android compatible"
I was using it before without issue, then it just stopped working. I have even factory reset my device and I still am not able to get it to work. And no I have not used Package Disabler to remove anything, in fact, I do not even have it on my phone. And I am obviously not and have not previously rooted since (last I saw) it's not even an option.
Any thoughts?
Do you have displaying scaling enabled to condensed or changes your dpi?

That's your issue right there lol
You'll have to disable it to use android pay.
One of my friends had the same issue, you'll most likely have to wipe cache and data for android pay after you disable condensed mode

Thanks for your help good sir, I am sorely disappointed that this is happening. I love the condensed look....
I have the same issue with condensed dpi. Anyway, Samsung Pay works better.
Hey guys I changed the DPI of my Moto Z from 640 which is so annoying to 580 on the phone. When I did this on my Galaxy S7 Edge everything looked great but now the play store looks a little weird (coloums where you see your downloaded apps and some weird triangular looking icon appears), also in Chrome in Bookmarks the icons next to the website are all big and fuzzy looking. Is there anyway to do anything about this or am I SOL? Please advise, anyone with knowledge of this... Thank you so much in advance!

Did you use ADB to change the DPI? Try resetting data on the Playstore and then rebooting. That may fix it. If it does, we can talk about the bookmarks. For the record the DPI is totally wrong and you were exactly right to change it. With Android 7.0 it is right in the settings and we don't have to root or use ADB to change it or deal with any Playstore problems.

Did you reboot?
Changing DPI causes some weirdness until a reboot.
I changed to a few different DPIs earlier, 534, 540, 560, 580 and 600, all throw Moto Display off. That was a deal beaker for me.
-edit: Just checked at 560, no weirdness in Chrome Beta or the Play Store.
