it was 4.0.3 before i started
it was rooted and had cwm on it .
i used cwm priemium to download this rom and it is stuck now on the first sceeen
any ideas as to how a get it back
If i press VOL+ and POWER it does not go into cwm
if i press VOL- and POWER it does noe go into cwm
it just open the CYANOGEN (mod) 9 screen and stays there.HELP please
Thanks
joe
I think you haven't made a clean install .. You should do a data wipe and factory reset prior to install. If you have done so, try to wipe data and dalvick cache then reboot.
Sent from my GT-P5100 using Tapatalk HD
i am sure i did the factory reset and cach clean but because a cannot get to the recovery with the vol and power i cannot do any thing as of yet
hopping there is a way out of this, thought cwm premium took care of everything anyway but not sure?

Just hold the button combo to get into CWM till the tablet reboots, it will take longer then normal but something like 10-20 seconds should be long enough to force it to reboot.
flash CWM with odin and reflash the rom
thanks to all SOLVED
i had to
1 power off
2 press and hold the VOL+ and POWER buttons untill the galaxey logo came ON
then release the POWER button keeping the VOL+ pressed untill recovery came up (about 10sec)
thanks
joe

Pushing a thread after 10 minutes? Wow, you have a great patience..
btw, i doubt that you can fix it because you cant even use google, but anyways... https://www.google.de/search?q=lg+g...nnel=fflb&gfe_rd=cr&ei=cYUMU6iEG-fa8gew7oGYAg
5 seconds google...
If you have twrp installed that menu won't erase the phone, it will start twrp. And questions go in Q&A not General

My problem solve
Tanks from "riobenny" user for this help:
remove ur battery.
then, u must turn on ur phone by pressing power button, and volume down. hold those two button, till u find android puppet logo, and a triangle.
if previously u run eclair ---> touch the bottom screen, choose wipe data/ factory reset, and choose wipe cache. (navigation entirely using touch screen)
if previously u run froyo ---> press vol up and vol down together, choose wipe data/ factory reset, and choose wipe cache (the navigation is using vol key, to choose using power button)
after u wipe all data and cache, press REBOOT system.
but.... IMMEDIATELY after u press REBOOT, u must press vol up buttong and HOLD for around 6 seconds and then release.
after that, ur screen will show boatloader mode, and u can flash it again using FULL SBF froyo for fresh one.

I am glad that you fixed it. Another Defy is reborn.:good:

S4 not booting :/

my mobile phone refuses to boot and gives me a wierd battery sign that keeps coming on and off every 10 secs
Go to recovery by holding volume up + home key + power button
Scroll by volume keys
Then wipe data/factory reset & wipe cache
Then reboot
If nothing did happen you may need to flash new firmware

Cache Clear Through Recovery

Does anyone else's Turbo take a relatively long time to clear the cache in recovery? I've done it a few times now and each time it has taken close to 10 minutes. Other phones I've tried usually finish the clear in a minute or so? Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
Mine always takes several minutes. I've never actually timed it, but I would guess 5 or 6 minutes?
Mine takes about 20min every time.
IMO I think that a DT thing across the board, at least with the XT1254. I have 7 other friends with the DT and they all experience the same thing( and so do I )
It is a painfully slow process on the DT.
My maxx even in cm recovery takes 10 minutes to clear
Me too I think it's related to the recovery both are unfinished versions of recovery
How is anyone clearing the cache? Going by the steps online, I can't even get to a point to clear the cache. When it says click up to select, it just goes up to the option above. Hitting power just boots the phone. Can i have TWRP yet? - XT1254

When you boot into recovery press and hold the volume up button and tap the power button once to activate the recovery command list
same here on maxx 7/ 10 min
Same here. Not really an issue tho
What it takes to clear the cache and the cell is in operation ... the difference is that everything is done from the recovery while the other cell .. makes the second stage when turn on the phone ... still need to wait a while.
sorry for English
has anyone tried to clear cache after using the mofo root tool? I tried to get into the recovery so I could clear cache, but am unable to do so...When I select recovery I just get the green android icon with the red icon on top. Any advice?

see post #9 in this thread,
Hold the volume up button and tap the power button once when you are in recovery
Yes it takes long to erase cache. I do it one a week.

I'm having the same issue. I follow the instructions to get to recovery to a "T" and still get the little "dead" Andy with the red exclamation warning triangle.
This is, of course, after rooting with mofo root.
EDIT: This is what worked for me - power off phone > hold volume down and power until fastboot loads > use volume up/down to scroll to Recovery > press power to select > once dead andy screen appears, hold volume up and tap (do not hold) power > recovery should load.
