Did you have to wipe internal storage? Mine is looping on Mi logo after flashing every partition except internal storage.
Edit : Working fine now after doing Factory Reset in Recovery.

Miuipro have a flashable zip too. I'm running it now. Everything works great but can't get fingerprint reader to work. Anyone know of a fix?

been on zip for 24 hours everything working for me even installed gapps. only thing missing is getting my gear s3 to link up but i know it wont cause its an alpha ver great post thank you

If you are rooted, have TWRP, you can flash xiaomi.eu or miuipro from recovery. I went from xiaomi.eu 7.20 to miuipro 8.14 to xiaomi.eu 8.17 without wipes.

Only thing I dont like with xiaomi.eu vs miuipro is that the new animated icons isnt included. In official and miuipro, playstore and photos, for example is animated in the launcher.

I'm facing controller game detected always. How to turn off. I try different keyboard and whatsoever it failed. Why this ROM is detecting me always using a controller. How to fix it.
How to disable it.

Is miui 9 have bug in sound enhancer while using earphone? Cause every time I turn on it my earphone does not work. Or I sounds annoyingly.

You must use de default theme for the animations work
For mi it's working with xiaomi.eu rom

use magisk and find widevine supoort for using netflix

good ROM but there is crash of XPOSED when you install GAPPS (cannot confirm if is related to this or not - read below)
EDIT: it is probably related to xposed cannot connect to update server. it is on the first login to new ROM (then network is not configurated). I have disabled xposed at this moment.

no other issues than that. I have firmware 7.9.14 china dev.
I am still testing it.
EDIT2 after few days of testing I will stay with this rom. OTA works fine.
with in build permission manager Aegis (hibernates ,limits wakelocks
,background run )

i installed the rom and it works pretty great.
the only thing i noticed is that the hotspot is not functioning well.
a device can connect my mi6 hotspot but can't get any data.
anyone knows how to solve this issue?

so i am on the Mokee ROM nougat release version build 1009 the latest and it's very smooth and perfect overall but i have a teeny tiny problem the camera app also as many other apps that uses the camera such as whatsapp and twitter swap the camera incorrectly for example the swap first the main rear lens then the second rear lens then the first main lens again (this process may be done more than one time) then the front camera it isn't that big of a problem however it makes me take alot of time to snap a picture i am on the latest stable global firmware V10.0.1.0.OCAMIFH i anyone doesn't have this issue or can fix it or know of a workaround i would be very grateful for such info thanks in advance

[GUIDE] How to boot RR 7.0 GSI on Mi Max 3

Hello everyone, I followed the RR GSI group about it and many couldn't boot RR 7.0. This guide was created especially for those who could not boot RR 7.0. Go!
This guide is also suitable for flashing a GSI that does not boot. (Like AEX, PixelDust ...)
You should have an UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER and TWRP Recovery (I Recommend TWRP by Nijel8 - https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-3-1-nitrogen-t3866084)
Instructions how to boot RR 7.0:
1)Full wipe (system,data,vendor, dalvik,cache,internal storage) + format data.
2)Flash No-verity-opt patch + EU developer on 8.1 oreo or EU Stable 10.2.1.0.
3)Factory reset
4)Reboot to recovery
5)Flash POST-sGSI_3_v0.6 .zip
6)Flash RR System.img
7)Flash Magisk 18.0
8)Reboot to system
9)Setup system
10)Reboot to recovery
11)Flash BiTGApps or OpenGapps (Recommended) + Magisk 18.0
12)Reboot to system

You can directly use 10.2.1.0 eu, follow instructions and reflash 10.2.1, I used it and it boot fine.

No, if you follow the instructions and flash every files, no problem. Work with stable eu 10.2.1.0 too.

Me too, but when i flash magisk 18, it still boot, then go to the launcher, it shutdown and reboot to recovery

Post sgsi is a fix for mtp as far as I know
No verity is to disable encryption everywhere
You only need to flash it the first time. Would work fine.
And no boot only with Oreo vendor. Don't ask why dunno

Yes everything is needed. If you don't flash eu After wiping you don't have vendor files. Don't need to boot it (MIUI) reboot directly to recovery and follow steps after this one.
Consider to join telegram groups just type mi max 3 on telegram.

You installed magisk manager ? Don't happen here and don't see on telegram group neither. Supposing you correctly followed instructions.
Consider join mi Max 3 telegram group just type this on search bar on this app. More support

You used which miui as base ? Restored apps ?
It didn't happen here using vanced or official app or chrome. Maybe wipe dalvik and cache or reinstall app.
BTW for bt fix replace files in vendor. Nikita forget to share the file here. It's the same as the others. Search on guide forum for it can't send it through xDA lab

I did the installation in the same way as this thread.
And I installed using the file from this thread. (EU 8.8.30, etc.)
I used 'phh-trebble-pie-fixes.zip' to brightness fix (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/how-to/guide-android-9-pie-aosp-phh-treble-rom-t3862708)
And I tried to change 'BiTGApps' to 'official openGapps Stock', 'official openGapps micro', and 'official openGapps nano'.
But the result was the same.
It works fine in chorme. but doesn't work on official youtube app and vanced app.

[MIUI PIE] 9.6.3 -> closed beta upgrade from today:)

I HAVE A PROBLEM！Im installed your ROM but i wonted to update my global version of MIUI ROM, and now i have problem vith my google apps. they dont work! I realised that this is a CN version of ROM. I downloaded a global 9.6.2 bersion, but when I try to install it in twrp recovery mode, after installation is over, it starts to rise a sistem but when its show MI sign on a screen its restarts over and over.
PLEASE HELP

Download Mi flash tool, download fastboot rom and flash it thru it.
Or download another build of mn3 rom and flash it thru twrp.
Or... Wipe everything in twrp and restart it might boot.

Tutorial How to Flash the Rom​

What will you need for this Tutorial ?
ADB / Fastboot (On Mac Windows Etc)
Make Sure your Phone is Unlocked and TWRP is Installed If Not Follow this Other Tutorial

Boot into Fastboot Mode and Flash This Empty VBMETA File
1. fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img (Attached the vbmeta)
2. Boot to recovery, mount vendor partition.
3. Adb Push fstab.qcom as follows
./adb push fstab.qcom /vendor/etc/
(I've attached mine for those who just want to adb push Thanks to @datty for the Fix)
4. Flash The GSI File
https://github.com/phhusson/treble_...nload/v201/system-quack-arm64-ab-gapps.img.xz (you need to extract the XZ First) Just Flash the System Partion (it will Include Gapps)
5. Go to Wipe and Format Data , Reboot Have Fun
WARNING: FINGERPRINT WONT WORK
Another Thing if you didnt have TWRP Installed make Sure to Flash the VBMeta of Jerry08 first and after you went for the First time into TWRP , you can flash the Empty VBMeta of this thread (inside Fastboot Mode) Enjoy
ANOTHER THING:
THIS Rom will Turn Your CN DEVICE into a Fully Global Device , Hello Google Etc works just fine.

It Works on The China Euro and IN Version.

It works Perfectly turns your CN or IN Device into Global with all Google Services , the reason why Fingerprint wont work its because of the Bootroom Unlock , now i didnt try any other custom rom or gsi yet.

U mean the bootloader? I have unlocked bootloader and rooted and still have fingerprint.
Do you think when i flash the global i will lose fp?

Cant tell you , inside the AOSP i dont have any option to activate the fingerprint sensor

The Face Unlock but thats an AOSP Issue
And the camera supports only recordings at 1080p 60 fps

Wait is it android 10? Or coloros 6.1 global.

This is Stock Android Based on the Pixel GSI Firmware
You could use Lineageos GSI if you want ... i just dont know how that will work if

Any other bugs aside from fingerprint? Does Fast charging , Bluetooth , WiFi works?

So it is stable enough to use as daily driver except fingerprint? How about 90hz display?, I'll flash after waiting a few feedbacks from other testers.

The 90hz Display works and the battery time is much better as on color os

also tested lineage os it works , but the stock gsi android seems more stable
