Hello everyone i recently installed an custom rom on my note 3 SM-n900,the rom is called vm 14 is like a porting to Galaxy S5 setting with the new touchwiz, but the problem is that i got bored using this rom and when i tried to get back to stock rom from samsung it changes my imei to null/null.
So i tried to revert to custom rom once again and it works.Imei is stable not errors at all.
Any help how to revert to stock rom and to fix my imei ?
Thanks in advance.
It's known issue after VN ROM V14/14.1
Read this, perticularly post #2
In short - If you have flashed VN14/14.1 ever
1.Everytime you flash any other ROM you have to flash NE1 modem otherwise you won't have IMEI
OR
2.If you have any EFS backup made prior to flashing VN 14/14.1, just restore it and you are again free to flash any other ROM without loosing IMEI
Hi,
i tried to install the [ROM] PopWiz Edge Plus 5.1.1 for the Galaxy S5 SM-G900X Snapdragon [Xposed] [Stable] on my Samsung G900F,
everything was good, but i had no network connection. IEMI was correct and the phone tried to connect.
I flashed the rom with TWRP twice. One time with a normal wipe, the second time with formating the internal storage (so it was a extremely clean install). I restored the EFS folder from an old (working) backup und the modem, without success.
After that i restored my old rom from a nandroid backup. IMEI is still the same but i do have network connection.
Does anybody had the same problem?
I am from Italy, i dont know if this count or not.
Do you have Bootloader and modem from the latest lollipop Rom? If not, download from Sammobile and install it with Odin. Then install an advanced recovery, I recommend you PhilzTouch and then root.
Finally flash Popwiz Rom, in aroma select your model and the lite version. Enjoy your new S6 Edge+ ?
Hope I help you,
Regards

Hello guys. I have a s7 edge G935F and I can't figure the solution to this problem. I installed the new oreo ROM and everything works fine except I have no network and my IMEI is gone. I tried to reinstall the official 7.0 ROM but odin works only if I don't install the bootloader. Now I have installed the official 7.0 ROM but can't figure out how to fix the IMEI. When I root the phone, at the startup it gives me the mesage that I have to factory reset it because I changed the OS and can't do anything else. I would much apreciate your advice because I am desperate already to find a solution. have a nice day
Hello,
I have recently replaced the motherboard on my N910C with N910F (because it was the only one that I could find at that moment). I had to replace the camera as well because they are not compatible. I got my motherboard from Aliexpress, and it seems to be working fine. It came with some preinstalled software that was running Android 5.0.1. on PHE CSC which seems to be Spanish software. I flashed the latest Marshmallow 6.0.1. from Sammobile and its working great. But I wanted to flash Astra Dream UX ROM v.40F so I rooted the device, flashed TWRP and put the ROM on SD card, wiped everyhting (I have flashed roms before on my S4) and after successful installation, what happens is that phone constantly reboots after Samsung splash screen. It managed to get to boot animation first time after flashing, but after that, any Custom ROM that I flash installs without issues, but doesn't go further than Splash screen logo. I have tried 3 or 4 TWRP versions, but none of them seems to fix the issue. So I reflashed stock ROM using Odin and now its working fine. Any suggestion what might be the issue?

For some reason v4 of that rom won't boot for anyone without having to flash another kernel. Also, I've heard that dirty flashing over v3 works too, but I did the kernel change when I used it.
But I also flashed Nemesis N7 port v3.0 and Aurora Note 5 port v7.0, none of them booted. I used kernels provided with the ROMs.
As said previous, try to flash another kernel after flashing the ROM. You have ramkernel or flashpoint that I know of for custom ported roms.

I have a galaxy note 4 exynos n910u (treltexx) with stock rom (6.0) everything works fine so i decided to install custom rom. First it was hard to find the rom for it after i found few i flashed one.
RR with twrp 3.3 after flashing phone was working like usual but when i interted the sim card it did not detect it so i tought it might be the rom what causing it then i flashed the stock with odin and sim was working fine so i flashed lineage same issue again evwn then i tought it was rom but no matter rom i try sim was not getting detected (exept stock) .
Thing i notice was there was no imei number after dialing *#06#*
So i found the new rom Note 7FE edition android 7 i gave it a try same thing no sim detected but this time i was getting IMEI number
Also my phone is N910U and showed Spark nz logo at boot and i'm in india but sim works fine on stock get 4g and everything and also when i install any rom it say N910C ony Note 7FE edition one said N910U

I wrote to you on the telegram channel also - the 910U has a weird modem (Intel) which has issues with the RIL (radio layer interface).
Also the developer has no phone note 4 910U so that he can test it and get logs to see errors.
As for all the peeps with this model - "It is what it is" - deal with it.

I'm not sure if this will work but you have a backup of your stock roms modem partition you could yry dirty flashing it to your custom rom. You could also use a root file manager and copy your stock roms csc files and place the in a flashable .zip and dirty flash that to your custom rom.

Wrong. Only custom rom with root access.

Opps , I mean rooted stock roms. I've noticed conflicts with custom roms if the rom manager has the same settings as GRX.
n910u is trhplte

Your welcome, I was hoping it would have worked
Did you try creating a .zip with your working csc's and flash that in twrp as well?
