Low internal storage | ASUS Zenfone 5 | T00J

Hi, I'm owner of Zenfone 5 for a year.
About 4 months I experience problem with low internal space, that means I have only 400 MB available.
I tried moving everything on SD card but that won't help. I'm also cleaning cache and thumbnails every 3 days (using CCleaner), nothing helps, maybe I get with it 100 MB but only for a moment.
Do you have same problem? Do you have skills with it? Please share your ideas.
Could Resurrection Remix rom fix this problem? (the Marshmallow one)?

well i havent tried the rom yet but yes it may be due to the rom..the storage bug u r stating is not mention on the rom but so you should send a message to the developer.or maybe use cm13

I've already contacted ASUS forums but still no reply, seems like I have to flash it...
By the way, I also tried factory reset but after few days same progress.

Dont ask on asus forums bro(u r talking abt zentalk??right?),,,no one gonna help u with custom roms.....better contact the developer

Touch Problem or System error ????

Hey guyss,
I luv zuk z1 and i also install alll sorts of rom in my phone.
now when cynogen was shut i migrated from cm 13 to the nuclear rom 7.1. So presently i am using nuclear rom.
The problem is, if i now flash any other nougat rom such as Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 Nightlies,[OFFICIAL][7.1.1] Official Mokee,[UNOFFICIAL][7.1.1]Resurrection Remix-N v5.8.0-Zuk Z1
When i flashed these three roms the touch is not working
i wil explain, after falshing the first language setup screen appears then when we tap next the touch not working... but when hoding the power key the shutdown reebot option come.. then to shutdown if i touch on shutdown the screen goes and if touching some waht downward of shutdown it will shutdown
But i think it is not the issue of touch because after that i flashed cm 13 and nuclear rom again , no problem the touch works well
Anyone faced the issue ... pls help me

I had a similar issue, starting like you mentioned and becomes more and more. Then even in twrp no touch was working anymore. At the end it sent it back for warranty...

So Is it the problem with the touch screen .. ?

You're right. I mailed to the Hotline, it was long way but they did it

Fingerprint or Utouch is not working

Finger Print was working like charm in Nuclear 6.0 then suddenly stopped. No error at all and Fingerprint option is also gone! Formatted and reinstalled Nuclear but still no option available and no utouch is their. Installed MiUi same problem. What should i do?:crying:

I had the same issue, try the clean install of teslacoil ROM it could solve the problem

I report the same problem.
First of all, Fingerprint was not always responsive, many times i get an error which tell me that Fingerprint hardware not available but quickly it get back to work. but since today morning, it don't work anymore. i made a full reset , i installed CM 12.1 , CM13 , CM14 and even Zui 2.5 thinking that it could be a software Error. but it still don't work. Unfortunately, I think that my sensor is dead :/
Lenovo disappointed me. Zéro support for our device

For me it was working great for past 6 months! but from past 5 days it was showing Fingerprint hardware not available few times! and then suddenly stopped working! no response at all. installed many roms still no response.. but now i installed 12.1 official and when i'm trying to add fingerprint its giving me a non stop vibration and still its not working.

A lot of people here encountered the same error.
I think that it's a hardware issue. Fingerprint is dead.

Suffering from random reboot on Redmi 3s

Hi Friends I am new Here and it's my first post so I request everyone to help me out.
My redmi 3s is having a constant random reboot and it's camera is also not working .as I open the camera there appears pink lines and the phone gets rebooted.please help me in solving the problem. I am on latest miui 8 V8.1.1

Please provide photos of those "pink lines", what are you doing when the phone reboots?
Does it reboot also when It uses the built in GPS?
This looks like a hardware fault problem. You could try doing a factory reset, or try flashing the stock ROM agaiin using Mi Flash.
If you have warranty, send the phone as soon as possible.

Flashing the miui rom can help me.
I don't have warranty.
I don't know what's the reason behind all this.

I'm suffering from random reboot too... Try latest stable miui rom 8.1.1.0 and still have that problem

how old is your phone??
if reboot is repeating very often then replace the phone's main board like me ASAP.
hope this will help you

I also faced problem its hardware fault
U should go for replacement asap

Try flashing the os through flashboot method

It's not exactly pink lines. It's like the display gets scrabbled for a while and phone reboots automatically. I've experienced that in MIUI couple of times. That's what made me to come to custom ROMs. Well now I don't experience that. Try it could help you too.

Only those time when display got scrabbled.

Redmi 3s Random restart solution
I was having Random restart problem in my Redmi 3s. I tried many ways but not successful.
I tried below it worked.
Go to security App
Select Battery usage - ==>battery saver
Off the saver button

Help me up please, Device -Redmi k20 (8+256) rom : miui global stable 12.0.9.0 , suddenly one day the problem started with the front cam wasn't working, next day that audio and mic went missing and the device was restarting itself. Then I did a factory reset but it didn't help. Then I thought maybe going back to china stable rom will help so, I flashed china stable 12.1.2.0 fastboot rom, now the restarting issue solved but the audio/mic/camera/headphone and many other feature issue was still there. Then I tried more recovery rom using orange fox recovery (miui china stable 11.0.2.0, miui weekly 12.5, pixel experience 11, miui global stable 11.0.4, xiaomi.eu rom 12.1.2.0, also 12.0.8) nothing helped me out. I cleared data, system, vendor cache and dalvik every time before flashing. I even took it to shop but they were also unable to detect the actual problem and therefore couldn't solve it.
I don't have a single penny to buy another phone right now. PLEAAAAASEEEE HEEEEEELPPP ME OUT from this headache I am facing more than 10 days. PLEASE!!!

no brother. no water spilled. and i don't have warranty left.
i was on miui global stable 12.0.8.0 but after updating to 12.0.9.0 then after some days it happened!

I was on miui global stable 12.0.9.0 which is the latest one till now
Though my device was Redmi K20 i was on Global rom

You didn't say anything about format bruhhhhh.
It's related to India, as only software from that region is affected - they know the bug but don't give a s#!t as this phone is already "old"

Bro, i cleared everything before flashing the ROM, also tried out formating data before flahsing the ROM. is that what you mean? If not please guide me...

I have the same issue. I am beginning to think it could be a hardware issue.
